New Video For Ghost in the Shell Looks At The Shelling Scene
Coming Soon has revealed a new behind-the-scenes video for Ghost in the Shell which looks at the “Shelling” sequence in the film. Paramount Pictures will debut the film on March 31. It was directed by Rupert Sanders, based on the manga from writer/illustrator Masamune Shirow. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Beat Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbaek, Kaori Momoi, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo. It’s produced by Avi Arad, Ari Arad and Steven Paul, with Tetsu Fujimura, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and Jeffrey Silver executive producing.
Here’s a synopsis: Ghost in the Shell follows the Major (Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
