[TV] Ratings: Supernatural and Arrow Return To Big Ratings For The CW
Both Arrow and Supernatural returned after three weeks last night to get big ratings for the CW. Supernatural had its second-biggest audience of the season. Meanwhile, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU also came back after a break with improved numbers, getting the best demographic rating since January. American Idol helped get FOX a dominating win, even though the show was down from last week. Survivor: Caramoan tied its previous season high in the demographic. The rest of CBS and all but one show on ABC were reruns.
FOX won with 12.2 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/12 share in households in primetime. It was followed by CBS (7.8 million, 4.9/8), NBC (5.6 million, 3.8/6), ABC (4.2 million, 2.8/4) and the CW (2.7 million, 1.6/3).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 3.2, followed by CBS (1.9), NBC (1.4), ABC (1.3) and the CW (1.0).
