April 25, 2013 | Posted by Joseph Lee

Both Arrow and Supernatural returned after three weeks last night to get big ratings for the CW. Supernatural had its second-biggest audience of the season. Meanwhile, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU also came back after a break with improved numbers, getting the best demographic rating since January. American Idol helped get FOX a dominating win, even though the show was down from last week. Survivor: Caramoan tied its previous season high in the demographic. The rest of CBS and all but one show on ABC were reruns.

FOX won with 12.2 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/12 share in households in primetime. It was followed by CBS (7.8 million, 4.9/8), NBC (5.6 million, 3.8/6), ABC (4.2 million, 2.8/4) and the CW (2.7 million, 1.6/3).

In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 3.2, followed by CBS (1.9), NBC (1.4), ABC (1.3) and the CW (1.0).
