Adele Turns to Hypnotherapy To Cure Stage Fright For Oscars

February 3, 2013 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Adele is reportedly visiting a hypnotherapist to help get over her stage fright in order to perform at the Oscars. The Sun reports that the singer is getting the treatment so that that she can overcome her fears to perform “Skyfall,” which she is already confirmed to sing.

A source said, “A friend in LA recommended the hypnotherapist because Adele was getting so nervous about the gig. She has been rehearsing for the show with an orchestra, but all the preparation in the world isn’t enough to keep her calm. She was so nervous before last year’s Grammys that she was sick before going on stage. She doesn’t want a repeat of that.”
