Blink-182 Frontman Pledges Support to Billie Joe Armstrong During Rehab Stint
Mark Hoppus has wished Billie Joe Armstrong the best curing his rehab stint. The Blink-182 singer spoke with KROQ and said that he hasn’t yet spoken to his Green Day counterpart but hopes he does well.
“I don’t know exactly what’s going on. I saw what happened onstage, and then I saw the announcement, like, two days later or whatever it was, that he was checking himself in to get help,” Hoppus said. “I think that’s great if it’s what he needs, and I wish them all the best. They’re an amazing band and really cool guys, and I hope that all is good in their world. Other than what I’ve heard in the news, I don’t know enough. I hope that Billie’s good, I hope that the band is in a good place and I wish them nothing but health and success for sure.”
Armstrong’s rehab stint should run through the end of the year.
