Britney Spears’ Las Vegas Residency Ends In December
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me” residency at the Axis theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas will end on December 31. Her manager, Larry Rudolph, revealed that that is when her contract with Ceasars Entertainment expires. There will also be a break during the summer as she plays to tour Asie and Tel Aviv, Israel. It’s possible (but not confirmed) that Spears could take a break in the spring then return to the stage later.
Rudolph said that her next venue “could be conceivably anywhere, we could have it at the needle on the top of the Stratosphere, and do the bungee jump afterward.”
He added: “We are done with this show, and our next move is undecided. We are still talking with Caesars Entertainment and other interested parties in Las Vegas. Anything is possible. We have made zero decisions. We expect a lot of interest from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward. She might tour, she might work on a new album. It’s too early to talk specifics about anything.
