Diddy Documentary Set To Debut At Tribeca Film Festival
Billboard reports that Diddy will debut his documentary Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
He said: “I am blessed to be introducing our film at the Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca brings the biggest names in entertainment and culture together with visionaries from across industries to celebrate the power of storytelling. There is no better place to share the story behind the Bad Boy movement and this unprecedented musical event.”
The documentary is produced by Live Nation Productions and directed by Daniel Kaufman. It looks at the history of the label and goes behind-the-scenes at the two-night anniversary shows that happened last May at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to honor The Notorious B.I.G. It looks at the label’s origin in Harlem and Brooklyn, its influence on pop culture, fashion and music and the murder of Biggie. It will also follow Diddy as he tries to get Bad Boy Family members Lil Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, 112 and more for the shows, which give them only three weeks to rehearse.
