Drake Takes More Shots at Meek Mill on More Life
Drake is widely viewed as having won his beef with Meek Mill, but the rapper isn’t stopping there. Drake released his “playlist” More Life on Saturday and fired a couple of shots over at Mill on two of the tracks, “Lose You” and “Free Smoke.”
According to Complex, Drake raps on the track, “All you did was write the book on garbage ass Rollies/Ego strokin’, picture postin’, claiming that you’d do it for motivational purposes only but you just had to show me.” This is being taken as a reference to Meek’s habit of talking about Rollies in his music.
Meanwhile, “Free Smoke” has him reference how he won the feud against Meek despite the latter’s accusations that Drake had his lyrics ghostwritten, saying, “How you let the kid fightin’ ghostwritin’ rumors turn you to a ghost? Oh, you niggas got jokes.”
The two rappers have been feuding since July of 2015, when Meek went on a long Twitter rant in which he claimed Drake used ghost writers. It’s continued on and off through January of 2016 and has stayed largely quiet since, albeit with occasional references from one of the other.
