Former Evanescence Guitarist Being Sued By Former Managers

January 28, 2013 | Posted by Joseph Lee

TMZ reports that former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody is being sued by Rider Management Company for $500,000.

Moody is also known for his songwriting, as he wrote songs for Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson (“Because of You”). He also produced some songs for Lindsay Lohan.

Rider Management claims they signed a deal with Moody in 2006, three years after he left Evanescence, to get commission on his various projects. They claim Moody didn’t pay off the back commissions and kept the money for himself.
