Jason Bonham Comments On Robert Plant’s Led Zeppelin Reunion Tease

February 22, 2013 | Posted by Joseph Lee

Stereoboard reports that Jason Bonham (son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham) has said that he’s not sure what to make of the recent Led Zeppelin reunion tease by Robert Plant.

Plant was asked on Australian TV if he would reunite with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. He said: “I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.

Bonham posted in response on Facebook: “I just watched Robert’s interview, where he says he’s free in 2014. Not sure how to read it – what do you think?

Plant has been making music with Alison Krauss and his new Band of Joy. He has previously denied rumors as far back as 2008 that there will be a reunion.

In 2010, Bonham said after their 2007 reunion concert at the O2 Arena in London that they were “real close” to touring without plant. He added: “We did a year of writing and putting stuff together.” Steven Tyler and Myles Kennedy both auditioned to be the new vocalist, but it never happened.
