John Mayer Returns to the Stage for Fundraiser Concert
The Bozeman daily Chronicle reports that John Mayer did his first concert in almost two years. The concert was a fundraiser he started to benefit firefighters that helped save his home and others in a Montana wildfire.
Mayer started his performance with “If I Ever Get Around to Living.” Zac Brown also performed at the concert which reportedly raised more than $100,000.
While Mayer was in Los Angeles for treatment of a growth near his vocal cords, a 8,500-acre fire raged near Livingston last August. Mayer previously said Botox injections used to keep his vocal cords from pressing together while they heal and have limited his ability to hit high notes.
