Johnny Cash Being Commerorated in US Postal Stamp

January 31, 2013 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

Beyond the Perf reports that the late Johnny Cash will be commemorated in a tribute stamp by the United States Postal Service.

The stamp is part of a Music Icon series that will feature a photograph taken by Frank Bez during the sessions for the 1963’s Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.

Beyond the Perf writes; “The Johnny Cash stamp is being issued as a ForeverĀ® stamp. Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.”

Cash passed away in 2003 at the age of 71.
