Justin Timberlake To Debut Bud Light Ad at the Grammy Awards
Justin Timberlake has taken on a position as the creative director for Bud Light Platinum. Billboard reports that Timberlake will kick off the position with a new commercial featuring his latest single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z, which will premiere during the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Ad agency Translation brokered the deal. Anheuser-Busch has announced that Timberlake will provide “creative, musical and cultural curation” for Bud Light Platinum brand; additional terms were not disclosed.
Timberlake said in a statement, “Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I’m doing. I’m looking forward to not only being a part of the creative process, but in bringing other talented musicians to the forefront as well.”
Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” collaborator Jay-Z serves in a similar role for Budweiser Select brand and has done so since 2006.
