Mindy McCready Killed Her Dog Before She Killed Herself
Zap2It reports that Mindy McCready killed her dog before she killed herself on the front porch of her home. Neighbors reported hearing two gunshots.
The dog was a key figure in the death of McCready’s boyfriend David Wilson, who died from a gunshot wound on January 13. McCready told NBC: “I didn’t find the bullet, the dog did. It was in the dog’s mouth. I mean, that’s a horrific things to say, but it was in the dog’s mouth.“
There has been speculation that McCready was involved and police are now investigating. In the same interview, she was asked if she did it. She replied: “Oh my God, no. He was my life, we were each others’ life.“
At the time, she was planning to honor his memory. She said: “Some kind of foundation for people to donate in David’s name, probably something having to do with music, a scholarship fund. David loved music more than anything. And he desperately wanted his music to be heard.“
Meanwhile, Billboard spoke with Roger Clemens about her death, which he said was “sad”.
During a Houston Astros training event, he said: “Yes, that is sad news. I had heard over time that she was trying to get peace and direction in her life. The few times that I had met her and her manager/agent they were extremely nice.“
In April of 2008, the New York Daily News reported that she was in a long-term relationship with Clemens that started in 1991 when she was either 15 or 16. He denied that they were anything more than friends, but McCready told Inside Edition that the relationship lasted over a decade and only turned sexual when she turned 18.
It inspired a sex tape called “Baseball Mistress” that starred McCready and a man named “Peter”. Along with the sex tape, it also had her take on the “affair that rocked baseball.”
