February 7, 2013 | Posted by Joseph Lee

The Mirror reports that Paul McCartney was mistaken for a street performer as he sang for passengers of a street car. He did versions of songs like “A Hard Day’s Night” while in New Orleans.

Lousiana resident Robert Senft said: “This guy got on the street car and started singing Beatles songs. Everyone was just ignoring him because there’s a lot of buskers in this town. He started to sing directly to my friend Evelyn. We realized it was Sir Paul McCartney and were in shock. He started singing with the whole carriage and taking pictures. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

McCartney and his wife Nancy were in the city for the Super Bowl on Sunday, and partied with stars like Justin Timberlake.
