Rapper Kenny Clutch Killed in Las Vegas Shooting
Rapper Kenny Clutch was killed in the midst of a shooting in Las Vegas on early Thursday morning. Billboard reports that Clutch, real name Kenneth Wayne Cherry Jr., has been confirmed by Clark County coroners as deceased, although the specific cause of death was still being investigated. Cherry was driving early Thursday in a sports car when he was shot at, causing the car to veer out of control and collide with a taxi. The impact caused the cab to burst into flames, killing Boldon and a female passenger and witnesses said it looked like the car exploded.
It was unclear whether Cherry died of gunshots or the crash. While neither the taxi driver or his female passenger have been officially identified, a family member has named the driver as sixty-two year-old Michael Boldon.
Police are looking for a Range Rover with dark tinted windows and custom rims where the shots allegedly originated from. Six other people were injured in the incident.
On behalf of 411, our condolences to the family and friends of those killed.
