Released Search Warrants Reveal Pills Were Everywhere In Prince’s Home
TMZ reports that Minnesota police have released search warrants that reveal Prince’s home had pills all over at the time of his death. Police found Ziploc bags and envelopes with pills inside. The new documents filed also reveal that Prince’s bodyguard went to a Walgreen’s pharmacy the day before his death to fill prescriptions that include Percocet. Prince used the alias Peter Bravestrong. Police found a suitcase with that name which had pill bottles and the lyrics for “U Got the Look.”
Dr. Michael Schulenberg, who was treating Prince, told a detective that he gave Prince a prescription for Oxycodone the same day he overdosed on a jet, which was six days before his death. The prescription was in the bodyguard’s name. Prince also reportedly got B12 injects before concerts to feel better, but they were set up by his managers.
Finally, the new documents revealed that Prince didn’t use cell phones because he didn’t trust him. This was due to a prior hacking incident. He only spoke through email or landlines.
Prince died last year after overdosing on the painkiller Fentanyl.
