Ronnie Wood’s Ex-Wife Says He Gave Her Cocaine In Her Maternity Ward Bed
NME reports that The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo said that he gave her a packet of cocaine just after she gave birth to their son Tyrone. She talked about the incident in her new autobiography Hey Jo.
She wrote: “The second day in hospital after Ty’s birth, I was feeding him when Ronnie rocked up. ‘Hey baby,’ he said, ‘I’ve bought you something.’ ‘Oh, my honey,’ I thought. Could it be flowers, jewellery? Instead Ronnie handed me a packet of white powder. ‘A little something to help you get back on track.’ It was cocaine.“
She also talked about his approach to household finances. She added: “Ronnie has no concept of money. Bill Wyman told me Ronnie went to the guys in the band to ask for a loan as we couldn’t pay the children’s school fees. After pocketing the cash he bought himself a Rolex.“
The two were married in 1985 and got divorced in 2009 after he left her for Russian model Ekaterina Ivanova. He is now married to Sally Humphreys, his third wife as of December 2012.
