Selena Gomez Is Sad Over Her Break-Up With Justin Bieber
US Weekly reports that Selena Gomez is sad about her split from Justin BIeber.
While on stage at a private concert for UNICEF in New York on January 19, she said: “I’ve been through a lot the past few months. It’s been weird and sad and cool.“
She then performed an acoustic cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River,” which she said speaks to her. She didn’t mention Bieber specifically. A source said that she “seemed so angry” during the song. Bieber performed the same song in concert a few months ago.
Before the show, she also talked about her friendship with Taylor Swift. She said: “Taylor is one of the most inspirational, positive, good-hearted people I know. I met her when she was 18…it was absolutely incredible to see someone so successful and so humble. I think she’s been a big part of me staying who I am, too.“
She was also asked about her role in Spring Breakers, in which she plays one of four bikini wearing co-eds who rob a restaurant to pay for their spring break trip. She added: “It’s kind of been refreshing and nice for me to step out of my comfort zone and do things that I didn’t think I could do as an actress.“
Finally, she said she is taking more risks off screen, especially with her music. She said: “I’m a little bit more mouthy [now]. I’m a little bit older. I’ve got a little more sass. [I'm] telling a lot more, too. Everything happens for a reason so enjoy every moment.“
