November 27, 2012 | Posted by Joseph Lee

Shirley Manson of Garbage told fans of the band to “f**k off” on Twitter last night after a show in Koln, Germany at the E-Werk venue.

Manson wrote: “Koln you were so strangely subdued! Sold out show but so cold? Funny. I know you love us but why couldn’t you show it? We still love you. Sx

One fan then proceeded to call her out for criticizing the crowd. The fan wrote: “@garbage do you really think it’s alright to publicly criticise your fans, who’ve paid to go to your gig, for not worshiping you enough? @garbage but it’s ok, maybe they won’t bother buying tickets to see you next time around, so you won’t have to put up with their coldness.

Manson replied: “@ConorFurlong oh PULEASe BLOW ME. @ConorFurlong fuck you.

Then another fan joined in and said: “@garbage @ConorFurlong I’m sorry Shirley, I own every record you’ve released & love your music but my estimation of you has hit the floor. .@garbage you criticise people you paid to go to your show, you got their money, if they don’t show any emotion you should be ok with that.

Manson then attacked that fan too and said: “@nessymon you can blow me too. @nessymon fucking read what I wrote instead of having a knee jerk reaction + by the way I don’t care a whit what you think of me so THERE.

The second fan continued: “@ConorFurlong @garbage wow, this weeks radio show has yet to go out… might include this tirade of abuse…” The first added: “@garbage @nessymon you called your fans “cold”. That’s supposed to be nice after they’ve paid and travelled to see you [email protected] you owe @nessymon & I an apology for your abusive behaviour tonight.

Manson then ended things with: “@ConorFurlong YUP FUCK OFF DUDE. I’m not in the LEAST charming. Never said I was. Ha ha ha ha…..goodbye…sad you are so sensitive HA! sx @ConorFurlong BLOW ME you Owe ME an apology.

The band’s Twitter page was recently hacked by someone pretending to be a drunk Shirley Manson. The hacker posted tweets asking “really attractive girls” to post photos of themselves and then posted lyrics to to the theme from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It seems like this latest tirade was actually Manson, however.
