November 7, 2012 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

Rolling Stone spoke with Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor who said there is brand new music on the way from the band.

When asked if he’d be making any new music with Nine Inch Nails he said, “All signs point to yes… Yeah, there will be new music. There are some things in the works.”

He also talked about playing with the band live again even though he went on a 20th anniversary farewell tour with the band in 2009. Reznor stated, “Yeah, if it feels right, it’s a possibility. I never said that that wasn’t going to happen, just that it couldn’t go on as it was. Stay tuned. We’ll see what happens here.”

Reznor and his wife Mariqueen Maandig along with composer Atticus Ross will release “A Omen” EP as How to Destroy Angels. Reznor promises a full length album from the band early in 2013.

Reznor has also spent recent years working on film soundtracks including The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.
