Welcome to 411’s TNA Impact Report 7.29.15

Welcome everyone to 411’s TNA Impact Report, I am your host Aaron Scott. Finally Jeff Jarrett joins the TNA Hall of Fame, Eric Young takes on Chris Melendez, Brooke defends her newly won TNA Knockouts Championship against Marti Belle of The Dollhouse, the return of Jeff Hardy and Mickie James wrestles One More Match as she teams up with Magnus to take on James Storm and Serena of The Revolution! All this and more tonight on Destination America following Bigfoot in America. Match times are not exact, card subject to change, let’s get to the really big show!

The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived is on his way to the ring to kick things off, A Double not pleasant as he demands mic time. He says he doesn’t care about what anyone says, but nobody takes more pride in what he does, nobody works harder, and nobody cares more about professional wrestling than he does.

“Championships aside… there’s nobody in this universe better than me right now.”

Aries mocks Bully Ray for leaving him out of the number one contendership. Ray has not made a favorable impression on- well speak of the devil.

Bully Ray looks dapper in his leather and crucifix. He gives NO TRUCKS what Austin thinks. The fans seem to think he’s doing a good job. Ray thinks Austin is great, one of the best, hell, Aries beat Ray at Sacrifice 2012. Thanks Will1225. He says he can’t just give the man a shot seeing as he lost to Angle. Aries is astounded by continuity, but then requests a tag title shot for the Dirty Heels. Ray says they just lost so… nope. Aries asks for a chance and Ray offers the X-Division title shot, Austin refuses. Austin does not need the title, and talks crap about Rockstar Spud-

Speak of the little Devil! Rockstar Spud walks out seemingly perturbed as Austin thinks its funny. Spud apologizes as

“SPUD SPUD SPUD” is being chanted throughout the Impact Zone.

Spud is hurt by Austin’s remarks. Aries mocks him, and Spud calls him an overachiever. A triple crown winner, and it was Aries who gave him the opportunity. Creating Option C that helped people like him believe he had a chance at the World Heavyweight Champion.

Aries says he didn’t create Option C for anyone but him. Aries told him he could never beat Angle. He may have lost, but 9 out of 10 he wins. 10 out of 10, Spud will always lose, and now he has nothing. Seeing as how Bully Ray has nothing, Spud can step into the ring with Aries, and at least then he can show something for his hard work. The fans seem to agree, and Rockstar Spud says he has always proved he deserves to be in TNA.

“Austin Aries I don’t think I can hang with you, I think I can beat you.”

Austin mocks him. Spud isn’t a Rockstar.

“If I can’t beat a guy like Rockstar Spud, I don’t belong in this ring.”

Bully Ray jumps on it, telling Aries Spud respects him and all Aries wants to do is mock him.

“So how bout this? Put your money where your mouth is, if you can’t beat him, you’ll never wrestle in this ring again.”

Austin agrees, IF, Rockstar Spud can beat Aries, he’ll leave Impact Wrestling. WHEN he beats him, he will become ROCKSTAR AUSTIN ARIES. And then he cheapshots Spud, sauntering out of the Impact Zone on his way to the back. Aries is all LOL as the fans are cheering.

Backstage with Josh and Da Pope Daddy! They hype the card and here comes the Jarretts, to enter the TNA Hall of Fame. Backstage in the cut, Angle and Melendez are talking, as Kurt thanks Chris for coming to his aid. Melendez says he can’t do anything til he puts Eric down. He needs it more than anything, and Kurt understands, but tells Chris he’s gotta take the fight to Young.

We hype the induction of Sting as the first man to join the TNA Hall of Fame.

Eric Young vs Chris Melendez

Accompanied by Kurt Angle, Sgt. Craig um, Chris Melendez arrives and starts slapping the hands as his theme sounds like a mashup between our National Anthem and Sweet Child of Mine. Chris gets the stick and he talks about how he will not quit. He fought overseas and he will not accept defeat.

“Get your crazy ass out here right now!”

Eric: Listen to me real good! Maybe you’re confused! I’m trying to do you a FAVOR!

Chris wants Eric to get in the ring, so he can beat his ass!

Lockup with the go behind and Eric slaps his neck. Young is upset and wraps but Chris hits the rear waistlock into the front plant and Young escapes. He talks trash and gets slapped! Young with the double leg takedown and a series of rights, then the head to the corner, fisticuffs and the Ref says open hand dude. Young with the kicks and the stomps, grabs the head and hits a hammering elbow to the neck. Does it again and blames the fans saying it’s their faults. EY chokes up Chris in the ropes and as Chris crawls to the apron Eric follows to stomp the skull and drops to nail the elbow.

Young celebrates and reenters to avoid the count. Eric takes a shot to the gut as Chris rises to forearm Eric in the face but Eric has the face rake, piledriver to stop! Young has the finish and Kurt Angle enters to keep the man from further attack. Young is your winner, and soundly at that.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Eric Young at 3:09 with the Piledriver

Backstage, JB is knocking on Matt Hardy’s stipulation for his world title match. Hardy is obviously with someone else in his locker room and makes sure he will announce his stip later on tonight.

Recap of Brooke ending the 238 day of Taryn Terrell with the assistance of Gail Kim. It is time for

Brooke vs Marti Belle

Knockouts Title Match

Yes I know no title.

Brooke attacks Marti and Jade, sending Jade into the steel steps. She beats down both members and enters the ring to go after Taryn, but gets clobbered from behind as your Knockouts Title match officially begins. Marti goes for an early pin but two only, Brooke battles back with a neckbreaker and Marti gains control, which involves a lot of choking and face slamming. Belle sends Brooke headfirst into the corner, and picks her up to sit her up top. Marti climbs and slaps Brooke, takes a few shots and Brooke knocks her to the mat and follows up with a diving clothesline!

“BROOKE BROOKE BROOKE BROOKE!”

She runs Marti over, and does it again with a clothesline! Flying forearm by the Champion, side russian legsweep only gets two. Brooke sends Marti to the corner and Belle runs but gets a spear! Jade is on the apron and Brooke brings her in! Taryn clocks Brooke from behind

LIGHTS ARE OUT

And they come back up as Brooke nails the Butterface Maker! X-Factor to Marti as the distraction threw The Dollhouse off their game! Taryn is screeching but Brooke’s first title defense is a success.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Brooke at 4:11 via the Butterface Maker

We hype and promote the entrance of Kurt Angle to the Hall of Fame. We have more footage from Tigre re: Trump from South of the border.

Tigre Uno talks Trump

Tigre Uno talks about his daughter, and how much he loves being a Dad. TNA has enhanced his career, his family, and how much his brother loves watching him on TV. How Lucha Libre is acrobatics, masks, superior to all other styles. The work with the public who become part of his persona. He has been wrestling for 17 years, and has finally become the Champion. It’s an opportunity for him and the people.

Cut to the backstage as Uno is standing by Christy Hemme.

“The Mexican People are proud. When our honor is attacked, we respond.”

Tigre isn’t afraid of people like Donald Trump. He is Tigre Uno.

EC3 is indisputed, unbeateable, unafraid, and gives NO BUCKS about whatever stipulation Matt Hardy will choose. Zoom in on Tyrus, because intimidation.

Next week it is official, Austin Aries vs Rockstar Spud, career vs gimmick, on the line.

Tonight Mickie & Magnus vs Storm and Serena.

EC3 has the mic and the CHAMP, Is here. Carter says in seven days he defends against the number one contender, Matt Hardy at No Surrender. The caveat is that he was duped into letting Bully Ray trick him into letting Hardy pick the stipulation. If you can’t trust a New York egg sucker like Ray.

“YEAH I SAID IT BULLY RAY! YA SUCK EGGS!”

He mocks the Hardys saying they’re hillbillies from North-

“HARDY!”

EC3 guesses about the Orlando Hillbilly population. He’s not scared of Matt, he would be of Jeff but Jeff fell off his moped and broke his leg. So now Matt has stepped up, aka the Chloe to his Kim. Matt Hardy never says die, but he is not World Champion material.

Enter Jeff Hardy. He is limping noticeably, and he has the microphone. Hardy enters the ring, and the fans are happy to see him. EC3 does not look impressed.

“WELCOME BACK!”

Jeff was feeling sorry for himself, but then he saw Carter and got sick.

“Your overconfidence will kill you, and you don’t even know it.”

Jeff conquers fears Ethan Carter, that’s what he does. He may never wrestle the same. But he is still rehabbing, riding bikes, then jogging, then wrestling, and dropping titanium shindrops on Ethan’s face! He asks if anyone in the building thinks Ethan’s a good champion? The fans say no and Jeff says this needs to change, and next week Matt Hardy will become the new champ!

Matt makes his way out and hugs his brother,

“MATT FOR CHAMP!”

Matt Hardy says their entire lives, their careers people have told them they can’t. But then, they do. Tonight, and next week, it will be no different. The only ones that want to see Matt and Jeff fight are ignorant jackasses. So Matt goes under the ring to retrieve a table! He pulls out a chair! And Matt grabs a …ladder as Jeff and crowd approve. Matt slides Dah Plundah in the ring and the fans chant for more! Matt is enjoying this.

“I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down…This whole Impact Zone seems full of Metal and Mayhem!”

Also per Bully Ray, no one is allowed at ringside. Nobody, directed at Tyrus.

“And next week, my dream of becoming TNA World Heavyweight Champion, becomes a reality!”

Carter is a sad panda as he makes his way up the aisle, Matt sets up the ladder to climb for the fans. At No Surrender, Ethan Carter III will defend against Matt Hardy in his first Full Metal Mayhem Match.

We look at Bully Ray and Devon as Team 3D entered the TNA Hall of Fame.

Jeremy Borash is backstage with Magnus and Mickie James. Magnus says it should be a celebration, the return of Mickie to the ring for the first time in two years. This is a fight that we fight for the last time. Mickie has to thank the fans for making her agree to one last match, and can’t think of a better man on the planet. She can’t believe Serena let James brainwash her, and the only way she can do it by beating her ass all over the ring.

Mickie James & Magnus vs James Storm & Serena

Mickie charges the ring! Magnus gets the jump on Storm as he takes him outside and punches him across the head! Magnus decks Storm and Storm goes to the eyes, he hits a big slap and rakes the face in the corner. Magnus explodes off the ropes with a clothesline! Serena strikes Magnus in the kidneys and Storm takes Magnus to the corner, kicks him to the back of the head and lands a kneedrop. He goes to Mickie, and then back to Magnus to wrap in the chinlock.

Mickie charges across the ring as Serena bails, giving James Storm the chance to hit the Backstabber on Magnus! Mickie is forced to leave as Storm brings Magnus to the ropes to choke him and Serena drops to do the same as James distracts the Referee. He tells Mickie he’s a real man as he takes a shot from Magnus but hits the back elbow to break up a Magnus flurry of offense. Cover gets two, and Storm stomps on the fingers for good measure. James pummels and hits the snapmare, drops the leg, a lackadaisical cover and gets only a two. He wraps in the side headlock as Mickie is clapping to try and help her husband up. Storm takes Magnus down, and tosses Magnus to the floor.

Serena is cheerleading as Storm sends Magnus to the barricade. He tosses Magnus inside, following to take a stomach punch, but manages the Lungbuster! Magnus mocks Mickie and stretching in the corner, goes for the Last Call Superkick but is caught! Both go for crossbodies and hit to land in the center. Mickie slaps the tag and takes down Serena! She hits another! A dropkick! And a pickup to slam!

Mickie to the top rope THESZ PRESS OFF THE TOP AND STORM BREAKS UP THE PIN!

HE HAS HER BY THE HAIR!

Mickie slaps him! Serena hits the Gutbuster!

SPEAR from Magnus into Storm!

Serena calls for Khoya! On the floor Mickie battles and sends Serena for the ride but Serena reverses to send James into the stairs! Khoya rushes inside, stick in hand! He hits the stick into James Storm by accident! Magnus tosses Khoya and catches James Storm with the Diving Powerbomb! Serena jumps on Magnus! He hits the snapmare as Mickie rolls in, wraps Serena’s head and MICKIE-DT!

Storm enters the ring, Mickie with the kick and MICKIE-DT ON JAMES STORM!!

They have finally rid themselves of The Revolution!

OFFICIAL RESULT: Mickie and Magnus at 12:15, Mickie-DT

Mike Tenay is interviewing Ken Anderson about how Bram took him out in a sadistic match. He asks if Ken can go to the darkness to fight Bram. Ken doesn’t know what he can do.

Outside, Bram demands a match with Ken Anderson. Saying Ken needs to kiss his kids and say “I love you, but Goodbye. because this is personal, this is personal, and you’re not coming home.”

Pope and Josh run down the card for No Surrender, and we go to a retrospective on the TNA 2015 Hall of Famer, Jeff Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett enters the TNA Hall of Fame

Mike Tenay is the ring and it his honor to welcome us to the TNA Hall of Fame. He introduces Dixie Carter to the Impact Zone. She arrives to applause and talks about how after college, her next door neighbor was Jeff Jarrett. He told her he was a professional wrestler and she didn’t believe him. Years later, none of them would be here without Jarrett. Like ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ they all owe Jeff Jarrett for starting TNA, and every fan and talent feel the exact same way. She introduces Double J.

Enter Jeff and Karen, as Dixie officially inducts him into the Hall of Fame.

Jeff thanks everyone who’s ever spent money to watch TNA, and everyone who’s ever worked for the company. In the professional wrestling business, you can’t have a match without legal, finance, production, talent, the ring crew. He’s gonna start at the top, thanking Bob and Janice Carter for believing in a young man. His executive staff from Nashville, the production from Ra Ka King, and everyone who put in hours. The live event production, Ron and Don Harris, and now the people on this side of the red dot, the Professor Mike Tenay. From Studio 21 when the pyro lit the ceiling on fire. Don West, not so much. Kidding. And then the talent, in the early years. If you’ve ever been in an X-Division match, those guys would help define TNA, to differentiate them from the rest of the breed.

In the early days they didn’t have female wrestlers. The Knockouts Division they main evented Impact, Kong and Gail, and the list goes on. The tag team division, through any organization they get kicked to the curb, from AMW to 3 Live Kru, to Team 3D. He talks about the legends that came through like Nash, Foley and Steiner. A shout out to AJ Styles and then to Dixie Carter.

“I’d like to think we’ve had more highs than lows, but without you, I wouldn’t be here tonight.”

He thanks Dixie as the fans do and he brings it home to family. He had a falling out with his father Jerry Jarrett over TNA. They finally reconciled, and his dad made him the man he is today. He loves and thanks him. Jarrett is breaking up, and thanks his kids, and wouldn’t be who he is either. They support him no matter what as the camera shows his kids crying in the distance. And now to Karen.

“There’s a passage that says, Love conquers all. And she has had more mixed emotions in the I don’t know, the last nine not hours, months. And for that I can’t thank you enough. You are my rock, I love honey, thank you very much. And now I am glad to say thank you for inducting me into the TNA Hall of Fame.”

The talent walk out on stage and they are applauding, Bully Ray, Tigre Uno, Bobby Roode, the Hardys and more.

Next week: No Surrender.

Aries vs Spud, career on the line.
Eli Drake vs Drew Galloway,
Bram vs Mr. Anderson,
Matt Hardy will challenge EC3 in a Full Metal Mayhem Match for the TNA World Heayweight Title.

Thank you for coming by, we will see you next week! Always appreciated you guys.
