411’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT 1.30.15
* Match times are not exact.
* Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring and he has the Lashley’s TNA World Title with him. Roode says he has the title, but it doesn’t belong to him. It means more to him than anything in the world since he has dedicated his entire life to the title. Wrestling is his life, his passion and the TNA Title represents everything to him and the company. But his best friend, Eric Young, took this title from him. Roode says they were like brother, closer than blood, and he will not rest until he spills Young’s blood. But as far as the title goes, only two men belong in the conversation, he and Lashley.
Roode calls Lashley to the ring, and here he comes. Roode says the title is Lashley’s, but it was his. Roode doesn’t hold Lashley responsible for what happened and how he lost the title. Roode says that Lashley is man enough to fight, and he respects that. At the end of the day, Lashley is a hell of an athlete, and they have had great matches over the title. Roode admits that the title is Lashley’s and hands it back to him. Roode says he is owed a rematch, and wants his rematch tonight. Lashley says you got it. Roode then says why wait, lets to it right now!
Austin Aries makes his way out and has his feast or fired briefcase. Aries says he is always the man with the most options. First with option C; and now with the feast or fired briefcase. He has the option for a title match anytime and any place he wants. And there is not a better place than right here in New York City. But does he cash in right now, or after Roode and Lashley have a hell of an exhausting match. So many options, what should a great, handsome and humble man to do?
And now MVP makes his way out to the ring. Did I miss my invite? MVP calls them dumb, dumber and dumbest. MVP says Aries doesn’t hold anything and that Roode is always crying about his losses. MVP then says he is disappointed in Lashley. The title belongs to the BDC, not Lashley. MVP says he took the title, and can do it again. He then challenges Lashley to a title bout between the two of them. Lashley says that Aries can save his briefcase, and MVP can have a title shot as well. He’ll defend the title tonight against all three challengers in a four-way match.
* LOCKDOWN is next week. Team Angle vs. the BDC in a lethal Lockdown match will headline.
* Angle says he is ready to go to war next week. He is looking for the biggest, baddest and best for his team. He will assemble this team tonight.
Knockouts Title Match: Champion Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne: Terrell and Kim work over Rayne to begin. To the corner, splashes connect but then Rayne rolls to the floor. Roll up by Terrell on Kim gets 2. Snap mare follows, another and then a dropkick by Terrell connects. She then misses the corner splash; Kim hits one of her own but then Rayne pulls Kim to the floor. Back in and Rayne looks to take control, but Terrell hits a snap suplex and covers for 2. Running back elbow connects for Rayne, and that gets a cover for 2. She now works a cravat on Terrell, some knees follow and then Rayne knocks Kim back to the floor as she tried to get back into the ring. Northern lights suplex by Rayne, that gets 2. Boots by Rayne, Kim back in but Rayne hits a DDT/neckbreaker combo on both and covers Kim for 2. She then covers Kim for 2. Kim then rolls Rayne into a wacky, almost CHIKARA Special like submission. Terrell over and grabs a dragon sleeper on Kim, and they then break. They both elbow Rayne, head to the second rope and Rayne pops up and shoves them both to the floor. Rayne to the floor and hits the flapjack to the steps on Terrell. She tries for the skull fuck, but Kim saves Terrell. Face buster by Rayne to Kim on the steps, and Rayne takes the time to celebrate. Rayne then misses a cross body on Terrell and hits the barricade. Back into the ring and Terrell covers for 2. Rayne counters the cutter and hits the Rayne drop, but Kim makes the save and gets a roll up for 2. Rayne counters eat defeat and then avoids the high cross, but Terrell hits the cutter and that is all.

* Earlier today, Spud showed Mark Andrews around New York and called the Empire State Building the Washington Monument. Spud says that they will challenge EC3 and Tyrus to a match on tonight’s show.
* Tommy Dreamer comes out to that famous MUZAK hit “Stan in the Bronx,” and grabs a mic. He says for 25 years, the fans have watched him and he is nothing without them. He has never lied to them and never will. He then calls out Eric Young. Young says this has nothing to do with Dreamer and tells him to stay out of his business. Dreamer says Young and Roode welcomed him to the company when he first arrived, and they have had a lot of fun together in this business, and Young is making a mistake. He watched Young go from a joke to the champion of this company. And that happened because the people supported him, and Young knows about friends that have screwed him over, and he knows how that hurts. Dreamer says not to burn a bridge with his best friend or with the people. Young says Dreamer is a good guy, but look where that go you. You’re a fat loser from this dump, and he doesn’t want to burn a bridge, he wants to blow it up. Young says that they were friends, but that was Young’s mistake. He doesn’t make mistakes anymore. Dreamer says he’s making a huge mistake, and then says Young never asked Roode for a shot at the title. Young then kicks Dreamer in the gut and piledrives him. Good, Dreamer shouldn’t have gotten involved in Canadian politics. Young got a chair, but Bobby Roode makes the save. Young also knocked out the timekeeper.
* The Hardys hype their tag team title match next week at Lockdown.
* Magnus meets Bram at a drinking establishment, and Bram is already drinking. This will not end well.
* Kurt Angle meets with Gunner, gives him a motivational speech and a slap to the face and recruits him for Team Angle. Gunner agrees.
* Bram and Magnus drink and argue, Bram is not happy and says he should have smashed in Magnus’ face as soon as he arrived because the briefcase Magnus got was his. Magnus says he made a decision, and it benefits them both because he won the tag title shot. He says Bram is his partner, and the only reason Bram hasn’t had the success he has is because of Bram’s temper. Bram admits that Magnus has always been there for him and always had his back. Magnus says he believes in Bram, but they aren’t 18 anymore. They can’t do things the old way, they have responsibilities now. Magnus says that this is about family and supporting his little boy. Bram agrees and asks to see a picture. Magnus gets his phone and they have a bonding moment. They agree that they are good, and then agree to go and get Thai food. Bram then promises to settle up the bill and sends Magnus out a back exit. IT’S A TRAP. Bram then appears and beats the ever-living shit out of Magnus in the stairwell. Bram has a cue ball with him and nails Magnus in the back of the head with it, knocking him out. Yeah, that didn’t end well.
* Taz and Mathews discuss the angle we just saw, and then we see Hardy and Abyss brawling backstage. I guess Monster’s Ball has started…
Monster’s Ball: Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy: They brawl towards the ring and we get a bell, so we’ve started. They brawl around ringside, Jeff slams Abyss to the steps and then gets a table from under the ring. Abyss isn’t about any of that noise, so he fights back and takes control. He then tosses a bunch of hardcore toys into the ring, and then wedges a chair into the corner. Jeff back in and lays into Abyss with trashcan shots, hit a clothesline, leg drop to the balls and a basement dropkick. That gets 2. Twist of fate by Jeff, and Abyss is in the corner. Jeff hits poetry in motion off of a chair, and Abyss rolls to the floor. Jeff again runs and leaps off of the chair, Abyss sidesteps him, and Jeff then crashes through the table that he had set up on the floor. Abyss tosses Jeff back into the ring, and then grabs a bag of tacks from under the ring. Jeff hits Abyss in the balls with the cheese grater, and then rips it out to produce some FROMUNDA cheese. To the corner, Jeff charges and Abyss moves, leaving Jeff to crash into the chair that had been wedged in the corner. Abyss now gets Janice, misses a shot and it gets stuck into the turnbuckle. Jeff hits the twist of fate and heads up top, but Manik crotches him to make the save. The whole revolution is out now, and here comes Matt hardy with a kendo stick to make the save. Matt swings in a fury like he’s Willie Fuckin Stargell, but Storm cuts him off. They hold Matt and Storm superkicks him. The Wolves now ht the ring to make the save, they clear out the Revolution and hit stereo dives. Abyss is back to his feet and pours out the thumbtacks, and goes to the corner to attack Jeff. Abyss climbs the ropes, but Jeff fights him off and hits the sunset flip bomb, sending Abyss into the tacks. Jeff then crushes Abyss with a swanton for the win.

* Rock Star Spud and British Boot Camp II winner Mark Andrews (now called Mandrews) make their way to the ring.
* EC3 and Tyrus then come out. EC3 says that Spud’s request for a match with them has been denied. But they did find them suitable replacements. DJ Z appears to announce the BroMans.
Mandrews and Rockstar Spud vs. The BroMans (Robbie and Jessie) w/Angelina Love and DJ Z: The BroMans attack prior to the bell and take control as they work over Mandrews. Jessie presses Mandrews over his head and then slams him down. Tag to Robbie and they slam Mandrews to the mat, and then hit the double knees in the corner. Robbie slaps Mandrews around and mocks Spud that he cannot tag in. Rights by Robbie, to the corner and Mandrews battles back and gets the tag to Spud. Spud runs wild, kicks to Robbie and jabs follow. He then gets the testicular claws on the BroMans and after removing his bowtie hits sliced bread on Robbie. Tag to Mandrews, shooting star press and that is all.
OFFICIAL RESULT: Mandrews and Rockstar Spud @ 2:00 via pin

He locks in the last chancery, but Lashley is in and breaks it up and hits the Argentine back breaker on Aries. MVP to the floor, Aries fights to the top and hits the double ax handle on MVP. He rolls him back in, and Roode gets the cross face. Lashley breaks that up, to the corner with Aries and then Roode is over and they hit the old tower of doom spot. Young then rushes out and attacks Roode with a chair shot and then tosses him into the barricade. Lashley looks for the spear, but Aries counters into the chancery.
