411’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT 2.13.15
* Match times are not exact.

* Apologies for the delayed report, I was really sick all day yesterday.

* Highlights from last week’s show.

* We see the BDC arrive at the arena. MVP says that last week never happened. They will make everyone understand why they do and what they do. Joe says that everyone involved in last week’s Letha Lockdown took out a debt, and now they will collect.

* Kurt Angle makes his way out to the ring. Angle says he has always been about individual success, but realizes that at times you need help. So he thanks Aries and Gunner for helping him last week against the BDC. The BDC wants to control the world title, but that the best wrestler in the world should control title. Angle introduces TNA World Champion Lashley, who makes his way to the ring. Angle says Lashley had a change of heart, and he is glad. But as long as he is champion, he will have a target on his back. Angle thanks him for last week and offers his hand. Lashley shakes, and says that he didn’t come to help Angle; he came out to get his hands on MVP. Angle says there is more to this than a thank you, Angle says it is time for him to be world champion again and he wants Angle vs. Lashley, one on one, for the TNA Title. Before Lashley can agree, the BDC makes their way out. MVP says that one week after their so-called win, they already are looking to fight. MVP says that Lashley was not officially sanctioned to be in the match last week, so the result doesn’t count. But MVP says that they will do what ever they want to who ever they want, whenever they want. MVP asks who wants to catch an ass whooping, and Lashley says he will fight any two of them tonight, and he will do so with his partner… Kurt Angle.

* Bobby Roode and Austin Aries walk. They run into each other and recount their history in the UK, winning the tag titles two years ago and then lethal lockdown last year. But while they may respect each other, tonight is not about being on the same team. They then promise to leave it all in the ring tonight.

* We get highlights from last week’s Lockdown show, where Borash saved EC3 from getting his head shaved. EC3 then says that patience is not a virtue, and what he wants is to scalp Spud. He had him where he wanted him last week, but Borash ruined it. So tonight, EC3 and Tyrus challenge Spud, Mandrews and Borash to a handicap match.

Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries: Lock up, Roode works the arm to begin. Aries rolls through, kips out and then we get some chain wrestling. Off the ropes, Japanese arm drag by Aries follows. Roode then gets a head scissors, and into a cross face. More counters and transitions follow, last chancery by Aries but Roode then escapes. Lots of counters as they play off of the history of these guys as opponents and teammates. Roode sent to the floor, Aries off the top with the double axe handle and then rolls Roode back in. Aries off the top but Roode catches him on the way in with a dropkick. Gourd-buster follows for Roode; he takes Aries to the corner and works over the midsection with shoulder blocks. Spinebuster by Roode follows, and now a reverse bear hug is applied. Roode then transitions to an abdominal stretch, but Aries escapes and fires back with rights. Roode slams Aries to the corner and then connects with more shoulder blocks again. Aries fires up again, lands rights and then mounted rights in the corner. Roode shoves him away, and then hits the blockbuster, which gets 2. Roode sets for the Roode bomb, Aries elbows out but then eats chops from Roode. They battle in the corner, and up the ropes. Aries tries the heat seeking missile, but Roode side steps him and Aries crashes into the barricade. Back into the ring they go, Roode picks up Aries for the Roode bomb, but Aries counters into a roll up for 2. Roode now locks in the cross face, and Aries eventually has to tap.

* Post match, Roode says that, “this is pro wrestling”. He then tells Aries that he is one of the best he has ever shared the ring with and they shake hands. Aries leaves with his feast or fired case, and Roode then continues. He knows he can beat Aries, which means it is time for him to get his world title back. He says that he knows Lashley has his hands full tonight, but he knows that Roode vs. Lashley III never really happened, and he deserves his rematch. He doesn’t care when or where, but the world title will come back to Roode. Eric Young then sneak attacks Roode and lays him out with the piledriver.

*Back from commercial and we see Roode being helped from the ring. Young then appears again to attack Roode, and then piledrives him on the entrance. That had to suck.

* Al Snow is in the ring. He discusses being in the business for the last 33 years, and now trains some of the best in the business and he takes that job seriously. He knows that the people sit at home and think that they can do this job, but he says you cannot do what he does; because you’re sitting out there and he is in the ring. During British Boot Camp 2 he met someone who thinks he can be a wrestler, so he will give Grado one last chance to quit before he kicks his ass next week. Snow tells Grado that he doesn’t have the heart or passion for the business, and he has no respect for him. Snow says he will give Grado one more chance to quite, and Grado tells him to shut his mouth. Grado says Snow needs to realize where he is, in Glasgow, and they don’t take any crap. Snow cuts him off and says Grado feels pretty great in front of all of his friends and family. We see Grado’s mom is in attendance, and Snow goes to have a talk with her. Snow says she should be ashamed of her son, and she should tell him to just quit. She slaps Snow and then Grado runs off Snow. Snow says he gave Grado his chance, but now next week they fight. Snow says if Grado beats him, he will shake his hand and show him respect.

Bram vs. Crazzy Steve: Steve does wacky stuff to begin, which doesn’t impress Bram so he just starts to kick Steve’s ass. Rights by Bram follow, and then they roll to the floor. Bram gets on the mic and calls out Magnus and says he can wait all day. He even beats down Steve as he calls him out repeatedly. Steve eventually fights back and bites Bram. Bram then cuts him off with the back elbow and connects with the impaler DDT and that is all.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Bram @ 2:00 via pin

* Mandrews, Borash and Spud talk about their match tonight. Borash doesn’t want to get his ass kicked tonight. Spud tries to fire tem up and says he has backup.

* Gunner meets with Angle backstage. Gunner says Angle woke him up last week with his pep talk, and even though he wasn’t 100% Angle had faith in him. Gunner questions Angle teaming with Lashley this week. Angle says he knows Gunner will have his back, but when he faces Lashley he wants him at 100%.

Tyrus and Ethan Carter III vs. Mandrews, Jeremy Borash and Rockstar Spud: Spud goes face to face with Carter to begin. Carter then tags in Tyrus, Spud fires up and attacks Tyrus but then gets taken down with a big right. Mandrews tags in, he attacks but Tyrus hits a sack of shit slam on him. Borash then tags in, and so does Carter. Carter dares Borash to hit him so Borash attacks. He lands some knees and rights, but Carter then takes him to the corner and beats him down. Carter misses the corner splash, tag to Mandrews who hits a missile dropkick on Carter for 2. Carter takes Mandrews to his corner, tags in Tyrus who just beats the little guy down. T-Bone suplex by Tyrus follow, tag back to Carter who stomps on the hand of Mandrews. Carter and Tyrus beat down Mandrews in the corner, Carter then slams Mandrews to the mat repeatedly. Mandrews slowly starts to fight back, looking for the tag and then hits an enziguri on Carter. Hot tag to Spud, he runs wild and works over Carter with rights. Tyrus in to break that up. Carter holds Spud, but Spud escapes and Tyrus hits a corner splash on Carter by accident. Acid trip connects for Spud, and Borash then goes up top and dives to the floor onto Tyrus. For real. While Spud celebrates, Carter sneaks in and hits the 1 percenter on him to score the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Tyrus and Ethan Carter III @ 7:00 via pin

* Post match Carter looks to shave Spud’s head, but the lights drop out, and when they come back on Ken Anderson is back. He eye pokes Tyrus and then low blows him. Rights to Carter follow, chops as well. Carter bails and Anderson checks on Spud and crew.

* Gunner says he was close to being world champion last year, and no one will stop him this year when he competes in the gauntlet next week. No one, not even the BDC, will stop him. Kenny King and Low Ki appear and beat him down, because he spoke about the BDC. Keep their name out of your mouth son.

* Rayne tries to cut a promo, and parts of Kong’s music hit. She tries to say that she is the Queen B of this division and greatest knockout of all time. She complains to Hebner about the musical interruptions, and then says this is a reminder that there is no one in the back that can beat her. Here comes Kong.

Madison Rayne vs. Awesome Kong: Rayne charges Kong, but gets knocked down to the mat. Kong then tosses her across the ring and hits a corner splash. * Austin Aries and Kurt Angle have a meeting backstage. Angle takes a jab at him for tapping out to Roode, but Aries says he is living to fight another day. They talk about the world title situation, and reminds Angle that if he wins the title he will have a big bulls eye on his back. Aries reminds him that he has been champion before and says he will be again, making sure to show off his briefcase.

* Highlights of Jeff Hardy trying to die on last week’s Impact.

* Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring. He says it’s great to be back in Scotland, and wishes that Jeff could be here. He discusses Jeff being injured last week, and says when he took that fall Jeff didn’t give him a thumbs up. For the first time, Matt questioned if everything would be ok. He congratulates Storm for doing something that no one else has been able to do. Storm and the Revolution make their way to the ring. Storm says Matt is right, he did what Edge & Christian couldn’t do, what Team 3D couldn’t do, what Lashley couldn’t do, Sting, Angle, even the Undertaker couldn’t do what he did last week. He put down Jeff Hardy. Heroes only exist because of the villains, and in Storm’s book, heroes never win. He gives Matt two options, he can join the Revolution, or the Revolution can set him up in a hospital bed right beside Jeff. Matt then says Jeff does have a really nice bed and attacks Storm. The Revolution quickly join the fight and beat down Matt. Manik works an arm bar and then they look to do more damage, but The Wolves make the save. They run off the Revolution and stand tall with Matt.

* Backstage Aires is asked about when he will cash in for his title shot. He mocks the guy for asking, and then Kenny King arrives. Aries attacks, but the rest of the BDC arrive. They beat down Aries and toss him outside the building. First Gunner, and then Aries; looking bad for Angle and Lashley.
