411’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT 4.03.15
* Match times are not exact.

* After an open by Taz and Josh, we head to the ring.

* Young says all good things must come to an end, and tonight he writes the final chapter in Roode’s pathetic career. The winner will write history, and this is the last sad story for Roode’s career. Roode then comes out to give a history lesson, reminding us all that Young cost him the world title and then tried to end his career. But since then, Roode beat him in a cage and a last man standing match. But Young claims he won’t allow Roode to get another shot at the world title, but Roode will end this forever. Young says he will do anything it takes tonight to make Roode submit and will break his will. Roode then says if Young wants a submission match that Young gets it. He will also make him cry like the bitch that he is.

Submission Match: Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode: Roode attacks right away and tosses Young to the floor. He follows and they brawl around the ring, back in they go and Young attacks Roode as he rolls back in. To the corner, Young misses the splash as Roode steps put of the way and then kicks Young and then dropkicks him to the floor. I hope Roode brought the HAMMER JAMMER to counter Young’s figure four with the shin guard. Roode goes for a cross face, but Young escapes to the floor. They brawl up the ramp now, and then Roode applies the cross face on the floor. He then releases the hold, rolls Young back into the ring and Roode floats over, but comes up limping. He manages to hit the blockbuster, but again comes up limping. Young charges, but runs into a spinebuster. Roode is having issues standing, and we head to commercial…

Back from commercial as Roode works mounted punches in the corner, but Young shoves him off and Roode again favors the knee. Young now works a knee bar, focusing on the injury of Roode. Roode then escapes and rolls to the floor, but Young follows and chop blocks out the knee and continues his attack. Young then works Roode to the post and slams the knee off of it several times. He then wraps the legs and works a figure four variation using his arms to lock Roode up. Young then rolls Roode back into the ring, but misses the dropkick as Roode hangs onto the ropes. Roode looks for a Boston crab, but Young kicks him away. Roode then locks in the cross face, and has Young trapped center ring. Young fights, and manages to get the ropes with his feet. Roode now gets the Boston crab, but Young manages to escape and then send Roode back to the floor. Young takes Roode to the slaps and then slams the knee onto the top of the steps as he continues the focused attack. Back into the ring, they trade rights center ring, off the ropes and Roode collapses when Young reverses the whip. Figure four by Young applied, Roode tries to turn the hold and does. Young has to break the hold. He again goes for the figure four, but then gets shoved into the referee. Roode gets the cross face, and Young does the phantom tap as the ref is down. Young is out, hits the leg lariat with the shin guard, moves it around and applies the figure four again. Roode tries to fight out, but has to tap out.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Eric Young @ 17:00 via submission

* Lashley walks.

* Angle… WALKS!

* Davey Richards makes his way to the ring, and has both of the tag team titles, Edwards follows on crutches. Commentary explains that Edwards broke his heel at a One Night Only taping. Borash goes Mean Gene and hosts the interview. Edwards says wrestling is dangerous and people get hurt. He landed wrong on his foot, and knew something was wrong. He got through his match, but when he got to the back the pain set in and he went to the hospital and discovered he fractured his heel. It basically broke in half. He’s going to be out for a while, and the Wolves cannot defend their titles. Edwards is broken up about this, and Richards is asked about a replacement partner. They have talked about it, but they are family. They started together, they went to the dojos, they went to Mexico and did it all for one reason, to become the best tag team in the world. They hunt in packs, but without Edwards there is no wolves, and without the fans, there are no wolves. They will vacate the titles. Richards places the titles on the turnbuckles and then takes the mic. He says when Edwards is back, who ever ends up with these titles when they get back, they will hunt them down, capture them and tear them to shreds. You may beat them down and break them, but they will fight back and be stronger than ever, because the hunt never dies.

* Love cuts a pre-match promo, and says she looks the way she does because she has been blessed. She may flaunt it, but don’t forget, she is a great wrestler and the record breaking, six-time Knockouts Champion and Kim is not. She’s so sick of hearing about Kim, but now that she is free of what was holding her back, she will prove that she is just as good as Kim, if not better. She then attacks.

The clothesline follows, flatliner then connects and Kim with the cross body in the corner. She heads up top, missile dropkick follows and Kim makes the cover, only getting two.
