411’s TNA Impact Report 6.24.15

June 24, 2015 | Posted by Aaron Scott

We begin with EC3 and Tyrus channeling Airplane’s Dr. Rumack.

“Kurt Angle, good luck. We’re all counting on you.”

Enter The Champion!

Angle calls out EC3 and says in 7 Days he will prove there is no one better than Kurt Angle. Tonight, bring out my mystery opponent, right now.

Ladies and Gentlemen…

Carter and Tyrus make their way to the aisle as Carter tells Angle he’s unbeaten, that Angle is the best, but only for now. Angle is none too impressed, and would like to begin. Next week, Carter will tap. Tonight, Angle’s opponent will tap out too.

“TAPAROO KURT!”

Carter says Angle knows he will never tap out. Why? Because he has a perfect unbeaten streak. He’s beaten Sting, Lashley, Anderson, Bully Ray, he has beaten everybody. And just getting started. Raise your heroes from the ashes and he will sacrifice them upon his altar of perfection. Angle says he’s obsessed. And he’s curious. How many hours does he spend in front of the mirror? A good ego is healthy but this will bite him in the ass. EC3, Aunt Dixie? She can’t help you anymore. Nor Tyrus and/or your ego. Because next week, he will end Ethan’s streak- and make him tap. It’s real. It’s Damn Real.

“I’m never gonna tap!”

On his way to the ring-

“But we’ll find out next week.”

And he brings out Matt Hardy. We go to the broadcast booth as Matthews and Da Pope Daddy are at ringside. They preview the card tonight, as The Dirty Heels will take on The Wolves in Match 4. Angelina Love vs Velvet Sky, if she wins she returns to active competition. Up next, the X-Division Title Fight, Grado vs Tigre Uno vs Low Ki.

JEFF AND KAREN JARRETT ARE IN THE IMPACT ZONE!!!

Has Hell Frozen OVER!?!

Jarrett says he got a text in Raleigh and didn’t even answer the text from Impact Management! They wanted to talk with him, perhaps for a talent exchange, so he called back. They said hey Jeff, we want you to return and be in a match. And Jeff almost hung up, he doesn’t wrestle for his own promotion. They said it wasn’t just any match.

THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH.

They said this isn’t just any episode of Impact, this will be at the 13th Anniversary of the company that you co-founded in 2002. Jarrett was standing in the ring way back when Cornette announced the entry of Kurt Angle. When Samoa Joe walked down the aisle and headbutted Angle bloody. When a punk kid from GA became the greatest wrestler from TNA in AJ Styles. Beer Money, Eric Young who came so far from nothing! However, Jarrett has put himself into Global Force Wrestling. He had to think about how this would affect the GFW roster!

It goes without saying, how was Karen going to react?

“First off, I love you with everything I am Jeff Jarrett”

Karen talks about how TNA was in their rearview mirror. That GFW is their future. Her emotions said absolutely not, don’t return. And Jeff explained that TNA was his baby, he started it, and as hard as it is for her to understand, but she will support Jeff in everything he chooses in life.

Karen begins tearing up. Audible “Please don’t cry” chants.

On the phone at 11am this morning, Karen was talking with Sonjay Dutt in surprise and Sonjay said Jarrett didn’t go out the way he wanted to. No matter what, Jeff Jarrett didn’t leave on his terms, he was fired by Sting. So, Jeff, she didn’t come to the Impact Zone to turn around and go home. And Sunday, Jarrett will make things right the way he knows how to do it.

“I love you baby, and I will be there by your side.”

Jarrett: The King of The Mountain is officially declaring himself in the match, one last time!

Toby Keith told him…

“Hey Kid, you may not be as good as you once were, but once, you’re as good as you ever were.”

Never say Never.
