* Bram makes his way to the ring. Bram says that the sound of a human body being broken really does it for him. Some may call it sick, but he loves it. Abyss’ body made those sounds when he plunged Janice into his chest. He’s not just Magnus’ mate, he is the new king of hardcore. And now he has a new victim, Devon. He knows that Devon is a hall of famer, a decorated champion and hardcore legend. But it doesn’t matter, he will do whatever it takes, and everyone will know exactly who he is, they will know his name and fear it. “I AM BRAM”! Devon makes his way to the ring and we have a brawl between the two. Devon eventually tosses him to the floor, and then slams Bram to the barricade. They fight back into the ring, rights and boots by Bram follow. Devon back with rights, he then takes Bram down and slams his head repeatedly to the mat. Security finally arrives along with some refs to break it up.

* Kurt Angle’s music hits and tells them to break this up. Angle says if Bram wants to be remembered, then he gets to face Devon tonight in a hardcore match.

He then says Lashley will once again retain the title and then destroy Roode. King says that he and MVP are going to be in the tag team tournament.

* Rebel comes to the ring for a match with Angelina Love, but mush to her dismay Havok makes her way out. She attacks Rebel and lays he rout with the clothesline and then a leg drop. She chases the ref out and then chokeslams Rebel. Havok stands tall, that is until Gail Kim runs in and tries to take the fight to Havok, but her shoulder is still taped up and injured. Kim manages to low bridge and send Havok to the floor and then they brawl on the floor. Hip toss by Havok to Kim on the ramp follows, they continue to brawl until security breaks it up. But since wrestling security sucks, they keep breaking free to brawl as we head to a commercial.

Back into the ring they go, trashcan lid shot follows for Devon. He then lays Bram on a chair and then lays the lid on Bram, grabs another chair for the conchairto like combo. More rights by Devon follow, and then hits Bram with the trashcan. Off the ropes, counter and Bram with trashcan lid shots to Devon. Trashcan shot follows for Bram. Bram then wedges a trashcan in the corner, lid shot to Devon and then Bram talks trash. That allows Devon to hit the low blow, and then shoots Bram into the corner where the trashcan was. * Ken Anderson catches up with Chris Melendez, and asks him to be his tag team partner for the tournament. They will face Kenny King and MVP.

Tag Team Title Contender’s Tournament: Mr. Anderson and Chris Melendez vs. Kenny King and MVP: MVP and King, in the tradition of asshole heels, mock the man with one leg pre-match. King and Anderson to begin. Lock up, and then the side headlock by Anderson follows. Off the ropes and a shoulder block follows for Anderson. He then counters a hip toss and hits one on King. Anderson off the ropes, cheap shot by MVP slow him down, and that allows King to take control. MVP then connects with a running kick off the ropes and covers for 2.MVp continues to assault the arm, to the second rope and leaps off, Anderson got the boot up but MVP catches it, he then misses the standing elbow drop. They charge at each other, double down off of the clothesline spot and now both men need the tag. Tags to King and Melendez. Melendez runs wild for a bit, fisherman’s suplex on King for a close 2. MVP in for the save, Anderson in as well and it breaks down with all four men in, which then leads to King getting the sneaky roll up on Melendez for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Kenny King and MVP @ 5:00 via pin

* Eric Young is backstage with Spud, and will be his tag team partner. Spud says these last two weeks have been horrible, he lost his friend, and he lost his job. He has nothing. EY says Spud loves wrestling and tonight, he gets to show Ethan what he can do. Spud says he can’t do it.

* The Wolves say that they want the best challengers possible to win the tournament. They end the interview and separate, which leads to Storm approaching Richards and saying that he is good, but that he could be great. Storm is he way, the glory and his salvation. He brings in Manik, to talk to him about their revolution.

* Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble.
* Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble.

* Young makes his way out and says that he has a tag team partner picked out. He’s a guy that reminds him of himself, a guy that thinks he’s just the funny guy, here to make people laugh. Young loves having fun, but he was able to become world champion. He sees a lot of himself in this guy, and announces Spud. Spud doesn’t show, so Carter mocks Young for this. Young says the people also see a lot of themselves in Spud, but the facts are that Spud was a dumb kid with a dumb kid to become a wrestler. He snuck in by winning a bogus competition, but then had to learns that the bad guys win. Spud fears Young, fears Tyrus, and fears losing; Spud is the 99%, he is a loser. Spud’s music then hits again and he makes his way out for the match.

Tag Team Title Contender’s Tournament: Ethan Carter III and Tyrus vs. Spud and Eric Young: Carter in to start, and Spud demands to be tagged in. They go face-to-face, Carter laughs at Spud and tags in Tyrus. Spud tries to tag out, but instead, EY tries to motivate him. Spud fires up and goes on the attack. Leg kicks follow, rights and then a dropkick to the knee. Off the ropes but runs into a head butt from Tyrus. Tyrus beats down Spud, uses a heart punch which is odd timing considering the death of Ox Baker. Spud tries a sleeper, but Tyrus gets a slam out of that to take down Spud. Tyrus then goes old school technical wrestling with the double fishhook and then a sack of shit slam. Tyrus misses the corner splash as Spud slides out of the way, but Tyrus is able to take EY out. Spud fires up and tries to battle back but gets slammed to the mat. Tag to Carter now, he stares down Spud and slaps him. Spud gets motivated and slaps Carter back. Spud then gets the tag to EY, who runs wild on both of his opponents. Flair corner flip, shoulder block and slides in and slams Carter. Up top he goes, elbow drop connects but Carter escapes and rolls to the floor. Suicide dive by EY to both men. Spud up top and hits a senton dive onto his opponents! Tyrus back in, Spud leaps in but eats a chokeslam. Carter tosses EY to the post and Carter is in as the legal man and pins Spud.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Ethan Carter III and Tyrus @ 7:00 via pin

* The Hardys, Low Ki and Samoa Joe, Kenny King and MVP and Ethan Carter III and Tyrus all move on to the semifinals of the tag team title contender’s tournament.

* Kurt Angle walks.

* Hardys vs. EC3 and Tyrus and MVP and King vs. Joe and Ki are set for next week. Also, Roode vs. Lashley for the title takes place next week.

* Main event interview time. Tonight is the Roode vs. Lashley contract signing and Angle has added a special stipulation that neither man knows about. Roode makes his way to the ring. Lashley, MVP and King make their way to the ring now. MVP is not happy about not getting a proper introduction, and says Angle is not the man he once was. MVP is here because Lashley trusts him. Angle is happy he is here, and asks if either side has anything to say. Roode admits that the first time he faced Lashley, that Lashley was the better man. But Lashley needs to admit that Roode was close to beating him. And next week, Lashley will defend the title with doubt in his mind. Outside of family, wrestling is his top priority. What does Lashley care about, wrestling or MMA? Roode only thinks about wrestling, and winning that title is what he desires. Lashley may be bigger, stronger and faster, but Roode will fight him next week and will do so with heart, passion and the determination to take the title back. Roode then says that he will prove that Lashley is not a destroyer, that Lashley is just a man. MVP tries to cut him off and says Lashley is a machine, and was dreamed up by a mad scientist. MVP says that it doesn’t matter where the fight takes place, because whoever Lashley faces, he destroys. MVP brought Lashley here, he points him at an opponent and he destroys. MVP says that anyone Lashley faces, he destroys. Angle then says that there will be a decisive winner, and so MVP and King will not be involved. Angle will have a special referee, and MVP is upset about this. MVP thinks EY will be the referee, and calls Angle predictable. Angle says MVP is wrong, the referee will be Angle. MVP says they will not sign for this, Roode does right away. Lashley then signs even though MVP doesn’t want him too. They go face to face for the stare down, and Angle wishes them good luck next week.

* End scene.

* Thanks for reading.
