411’s TNA Impact Wrestling Report 8.12.15

Welcome to 411’s TNA Impact Report. My name is Aaron Scott, tonight Jeff Jarrett takes over. Bully Ray has been laid out, and presumably died on the way back to his home planet, so the Founder of TNA will step into the General Manager’s spot as he has booked quite an Impact for tonight. Awesome Kong will face off with Lei’D Tapa, Sonjay Dutt will fight X-Division Champion Tigre Uno. The Wolves will wrestle Trevor Lee and Brian Myers, and we will have a special defense of the King of the Mountain title. It’s all GFW versus TNA, in the start of what we’ve been waiting for all summer long. Match times are not exact, card is subject to change, as we will see the start of this two league rivalry, plus the fallout from No Surrender. We will see you at 9pm on Destination America but first, some words from the man in charge tonight, the King of the Mountain Champion and founder of both TNA and GFW, Jeff Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett has arrived in the Impact Zone with Karen Jarrett, PJ Black, The Adonis, Trevor Lee, Brian Myers, Scott D’Amore, Lei’D Tapa and Sonjay Dutt. Cut to the promos as we start the show.

Jeff Jarrett is your guest Impact GM tonight!

Jeff Jarrett walks out with the King of the Mountain Title on his shoulder, and he says tonight, we’re going to create a new rivalry. He says he will not wrestle as his TNA career is over. He has returned, won the title and his time in TNA is over. He breaks down the GFW versus TNA card he’s booked. The fans in Orlando are very happy. In the main event- the King of the Mountain title is on the line as –

ERIC YOUNG makes his way out. Young, who has attacked Jarrett at GFW events, and Jarrett is getting ready for a fight.

“You’re doing it for the fans Jeff? I don’t care about the fans. I don’t care about you.

I only care about me.”

Young tells Jarrett off and says Jarrett is looking at GOD. God decides. He decided the fate of the World Title not once but twice. He decided Kurt Angle should go home and never come back. He decided to take a War Hero’s leg because he felt like it. He will let Jarrett be the bookerman and book the match as Jarrett will face Young for the title. He’ll take his title, pride, dignity and career.

Jarrett tells Young he doesn’t work for him, and threatens repercussions. For the fans, he’s not an active wrestler. But he is a promoter, and he has decided that the KOTM Title will not be just a TNA or a GFW belt. The title will be defended around the world and it will be up for grabs in the first ever LIVE King of the Mountain match and Eric Young is the very first wrestler in.

Young attacks Jarrett! He starts kicking the man down in the corner! The GFW talent rush in and Tigre Uno, Anderson, Robbie E and The Wolves hit the ring to brawl with GFW!

Back from commercial and we have Moments Ago! Backstage Sonjay is freaking out as Jarrett says its not an invasion. EY is a nutcase. Global Force is about showcasing the best. Get ready to compete and win your matches.

Josh and The Pope Daddy talk about Jarrett reigning in the troops, and an update on Bully Ray as he has sustained multiple injuries.

Royal Red, Lei’D Tapa’s husband enters the ring with his new client and talks trash, welcoming Awesome Kong. He tells her to bow down as the fans are clearly behind the phenomenal Kong.

Awesome Kong vs Lei’d Tapa

Kong runs and crashes into Tapa, both try to knock each other down. They come off the ropes to no avail. An exchange of forearms and still neither lady has gone down. The Knockout Kong tries a few short arm shoulderblocks, and sends Tapa to the ropes then crashes with a running avalanche. Crossbody off the ropes she takes Tapa down! Two count only.

Kong with the twist out and a big boot from Tapa sends Kong down! Two count for Tapa! The announcers point out the Barbarian boots on Tapa, her uncle. Kong lays into Tapa with backfists and a clothesline! A second one knocks Tapa down! Kong hits the giant splash, almost gets a three!

Royal Red is yelling as Tapa weakly makes it to a corner, Kong is a charge and Tapa meets her with a back elbow! She picks up Kong across her shoulders and lands a Samoan Drop! Tapa does not get three!

Awesome Kong is still alive as Lei’D Tapa gets shoves off the neck and takes a spinning backfist and then a chokeslam! Kong goes to the crowd and palm strikes then clotheslines Tapa over the side! Tapa lands on her feet and Tapa pulls Kong out, then beats into her. She hits a kneestrike on the ramp, Kong is knocked down and we have a double countout. But both are brawling! Kong beats her up the ramp and hits the scoop and the slam!

Backstage PJ Black says he’s still the same talent, he jumps out of planes and more. Now he’s facing new challenges, new toys to play with, and he jumps on his cellphone. PJ will compete in tonight’s King of the Mountain match against Eric Young and more to be named.

Back from commercial Drew Galloway says he stole the show at Slammiversary. He jumped off the shark cage and tonight he represents TNA. He will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Inside the ring, Bobby Roode is noting how chaotic things are. He mentions Global Force, Jarrett, and the unanswered questions. But some of those unknowns concern him. He’s pissed because there’s a main event, a KOTM Match for the vacant title and he isn’t in it. And if there’s anyone in the world that knows it, it’s Jeff Jarrett. Say it to his face. Secondly, he has a problem with the man that defeated his partner Austin Aries, and calls out Rockstar Spud. As Spud makes his entrance, let’s look at the tape from last time at No Surrender.

Roode mocks little old Spuddy, and Rockstar says:

“Never in my wildest dreams, did I think I’d be standing in this ring…and you can be such a condescending prick.”

Spud understands that Roode thinks Spud doesn’t deserve to be here. Guess what, that little kid, they believe he should be here. Because when he was young, he said he wanted to be a professional wrestler and he did it. He said he was going to be a champion and he did. He said he would hand over the title to face Angle he did. And he defeated the Greatest Man that ever Lived and Roode’s tag partner in Aries.

“SPUD SPUD SPUD SPUD”

Spud tells Roode to leave him out of his head. Bobby wants to be a bully? The difference is when you fuck with him he’ll give it right back. Roode looks at the crowd as they chant for Spud. Bobby tells Rockstar Spud he’s right. He’s been an underdog his entire life. You did what you did with your ability. And while he shouldn’t take his aggression out on Spud, and he says if he was in the ring, he would end Spud’s career. He goes through his accomplishments and will take his aggression out on anyone and not a damn person can stop him.

Spud strikes him across the face! Roode clotheslines him over! Bobby begins attacking Spud, beating him down and kicking the stomps! Bobby drags Spud up to hit the inside kneelift! Roode slams Spud with the microphone! Roode stalks around the ring, taking up Spud’s jackets and chokes the man! Roode talks trash and has him by the hair, he pulls Spud up and as Spud struggles Bobby hits the Roodebomb!

Roode tosses Spud through the ropes as taking Spud outside, yells at the cameraman to move and sends Spud shoulder-first into the stairs! Spud is screaming as Roode wraps in the crossface! Bobby Roode is yelling for Spud to fight like a man as Referees try to drag him off!

Backstage Jarrett is yelling at Roode! Bobby says he doesn’t let him compete and Jeff left him off, and he doesn’t have to answer to Jarrett and tells him to get out of his face.

Lashley vs Jesse Godderz
KOTM Qualifier Match

Lashley enters the ring and Jesse keeps him from going to the second rope. Lashley ignores him and Jesse shoves him! Lashley attacks with the clothesline, gorilla press and presses Jesse- and sends him down hard! Lashley charges but Jesse slides outside. Lashley goes out to follow and slams the man’s head off the apron. Lashley does it again! Jesse is down as Lashley poses yon bicep, then makes up the trifecta. He follows Jesse back inside and slides in to hit the shouldertackle in the corner. A monster suplex as the fans count along, to one arm! And the huge delayed suplex!

Jesse is down and Lashley charges, Godderz moves and Lashley beats him down in the corner, hits the stomps and plays to the fans. Jesse hits the lift into the buckle and a high standing dropkick. Cover and no, forearm rakes across the face by the Modern Day Adonis. Jesse is stomping and he circles, wrapping the neck and landing the knees into the spine.

“LET’S GO LASHLEY!!!”

Jesse tells them to shut up and wraps the gutwrench. Jesse gets the leverage to set up for the crab as Pope questions the effectiveness. Lashley picks out of it and hits a series of punches then a running back elbow! Jesse is down in a corner as Lashley misses a strike and wraps for the german! He hits the overhead belly to belly! Lashley hits the spear in the buckles, keeps the hold and drops for the Dominator!

Godderz is weak as Lashley is waiting, but Jesse counters the run with a Scoop Powerslam! Two Count Only as Jesse sets the man in the center, yells for the Adonis Crab! He celebrates and tries for the turn but Lashley flips him off with ease and follows through with the Spear!

We go to highlights of the EC3/Hardy World Title fight in Full Metal Mayhem! By the way, EC3 YOUR World Champion is on his way out with Tyrus, how did he feel about Aunt Dixie choosing Jeff Jarrett as our guest GM?

Backstage Drew Galloway has been attacked and Karen says someone’s working against this TNA/GFW alliance. Jarrett says he can figure this out, and Dixie says she’ll go to the hospital and check on Drew. Jeff says he talked about this for years and has to make this work. The KOTM is now Young, Lashley and PJ Black.

Carter was born and bred to be the World Champion, and was meant for glory. He is better than any man in any locker room in the world. He defended his title in a car crash. Matt Hardy caught fire, lightning in a bottle, he worked his way to getting his title but just like everyone else, he lost. Carter questioning the fans saying he sucks? He is a new game. He defends his title in God Mode. That makes him the unbendable, unbreakable, undisputed World Champion, here now and forever!

“CREATURES!”

Matt Hardy makes his way out, limping from the leg Carter worked on during their title match.

Hardy puts Carter over, saying he lost and Ethan earned it. But as long as Carter has the belt, #Matt4Champ will continue until it becomes a reality. Failing doesn’t make you a loser. What keeps you from being a Champion is giving up. He will not stop, he will not quit, Matt Hardy Will Not Die!

Carter tells him he’s humble and he respects that. When you go to war you respect a man and no one has ever hit him as hard as the legdrop through the table. You want a title shot, you’re more than worthy. But he won’t decide so it’s up to the people. The fans in Orlando cheer as Carter says its electric. Well Carter says

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUAHHH!!!”

Tyrus attacks Matt! Hardy gets struck over and over as Ethan yells to hoist ’em!

EC3 says the only way Matt gets the title is an imprint on his head! Carter rams him with the belt!

Hardy is out as Ethan celebrates.

Backstage Taryn is asking her Dollhouse to do something for her. She has changed Gail Kim into a freak, and wants Marti and Jade to take her on in a cage and end her. Next week at Turning Point, Kim versus The Dollhouse, Six Sides of Steel.

The Adonis has been entered into the KOTM match. Backstage, Chris Mordetzsky, The Adonis has its chance to show its dominance over TNA. This is his chance to show his dominance and walk out as the King of the Mountain.

The Wolves vs Brian Myers and Trevor Lee

Non Title Match

Davey start off with Brian as Trevor gets taken to the corner and the quick tag, Brian’s arm wrung as Eddie is tagged and comes off the corner with a shot to the arm. Brian escapes and takes a double toss as Lee runs in and gets sent Myers! A droptoehold with a land on the spine and two count only. Myers kicks out and picks up swinging slam on Eddie Edwards! The tag in and pickup no they miss the double suplex and charge as the Wolves send them over the side as they pull down the ropes. A pair of baseball slides followed by a stereo suicide dive!

Eddie gets taken out by Trevor Lee’s flying knee! Myers tags in a snapmare then a two count. A kick and a wrap the chinlock with a knee. Myers hits a slide to the outside picking the ankle, Lee prevents Eddie tagging out to Davey. Myers back on the attack and tags out to Lee. Trevor chokes Eddie on the middle rope as the fans chant “Let’s go Eddie!” and Myers makes the tag then takes down Eddie and only manages a two.

Lee and Myers attack Edwards, toss up for the double bomb, Eddie hits the double hurricanrana! He finally makes the tag! Davey hits the elbows! The whip! He sends Myers into Lee and dropkicks the man into DDTing his own partner! Running knee into Lee and flies off the top missile and two! Davey with the reverse, whip sends Davey in, Trevor with the deadlift from behind, Davey attacks for the headbutt and Myers wraps the STO! Deadlift German from Trevor Lee, Eddie breaks it up at two!

Myers sent outside and Davey on the attack, the Wolves manage the Powerbomb/Backbreaker! Force of Nature!

Back from commercial Lashley says his thoughts on the main event is that he can go into any match and take the title for TNA. This is a big thing for a TNA wrestler to take home that title. He has destroyed everyone in that ring. He’s done getting ready.

Tigre Uno vs Sonjay Dutt

Non Title Match

Dutt and Uno circle as the fans chant for Sonjay Dutt. Sonjay and Tigre lock up, and a headlock from Uno. He floats over the back and Sonday misses a dive, sent to the ropes, slides over a leapfrog, cartwheels around a kip up and Tigre with the single leg dropkick! Uno with the gut stomp and wrapping the arms, hogties him over and hits the running dropkick! Dutt rolls into the corner and Tigre misses the corner dropkick, step up hurricanrana sends Tigre to the outside!

Sonjay comes outside with a dropkick through the ropes! Uno is on the retreat as Sonjay hits the stepup Hurricanrana on the floor!

Sonjay looks to the crowd and the fans are cheering them both. Dutt for the mask and sending Tigre inside, springboard splash and a leg he only gets two. Sonjay is circling and motions to the crowd, he wraps the face and chin, making the Champ suffer. Sonjay is on the head and sits the man on the top rope, lands in the back chop! He climbs up and Top Rope Frankensteiner! Sonjay shows off!

Uno rolls through and he manages the pin!

EC3 tells Jarret to cut the crap as Jeff is backstage talking up the Champion. EC3 tells him he’s on to him. Jeff has a replacement for Drew Galloway and Carter will defend next show against tonight’s winner. Carter yells about this loudly as we go to break.

Commercial is over and Anderson talks about how 16 years has seen him wrestle. And maybe it is time for him to give up and go be a Dad. But he will walk away when he is good and ready and he will face off against Bram as the match will see the mic hanging over the ring. It’s an Open Mic Challenge next week at Turning Point.

Lashley vs Eric Young vs PJ Black vs The Adonis vs Robbie E
King of the Mountain Title Match

Adonis on Lashley! Robbie gets involved and PJ superkicks Eric Young! Lashley spears him and now qualifies for the title hanging! PJ hits a sunset flip off the ropes to roll up Adonis who was trying to german suplex Robbie E! Black now qualifies as Adonis and Young are sent to the penalty box!

Lashley breaks the double clothesline and bashes into Robbie, release suplexes PJ! Lashley with the crash in the corner into Black, and running lariat to Robbie! PJ sidesteps the charge and Robbie hits the dropkick! PJ with the clothesline on Lashley and breaks up Robbie’s cover! Robbie takes a shot as Black fires back, then takes a shot! A spinning kick and Robbie E counters into the Boom Drop! Black sent to the box!

Robbie ducks a lariat and takes a spear! Robbie is sent to the penalty box! Lashley looks for the title as Adonis and Young are out and attacking Robbie E! Robbie and PJ have to head to the box as Adonis and Young talk strategy at ringside.

Back from break, and Lashley is sent over the top by Adonis and Young! Adonis schoolboys EY from behind and Eric is sent to the box! PJ and Robbie E grab Young and send him into the box! Adonis is on the attack, sending Lashley down, as Robbie kicks Black off the shark cage! Adonis wraps the Masterlock as Robbie E comes off the cage to fly into Lashley and Mordetsky!

PJ Black has the ladder and slides it into the ring, Robbie beats him then slaps and Black answers with a knife edge chop! Robbie sends him into the shark cage! EY wants out as Robbie slams the apron to work up the fans! He rolls inside as Eric gets out and immediately rushes to stomp on Lashley. Robbie has his head and sends him into the cage, then the stairs, and taking him up, wraps the head but Eric slams the lowblow. YOUNG PILEDRIVES ROBBIE ON THE STEPS!

The pinfall on the floor as Young sends him into the box, but Lashley knocks him over, and Mordetsky slams into Lashley. Black enters the ring with the title but Adonis cuts him off, kicking him down and heading up with the title. PJ has his waist and drags him down, then strikes the forearm and a back kick. PJ heads up top and Adonis climbs the other side, Adonis slamming the strikes before grabbing the KOTM title and LASHLEY SENDS THE LADDER OVER! THE SPEAR TO ADONIS! THE SPEAR TO PJ!!

Lashley destroys GFW and sets up the ladder, he goes to climb as Orlando is cheers! Lashley gets shoved off as Eric Young pushes the ladder over! EY sets the ladder and throws the stomp, he has the title and clocks Adonis off the apron! Eric celebrates to the crowd and heading over, situates the ladder, climbing up top! PJ Springboards off the Top Rope to land on the ladder! Black begins the strikes into EY!! Young is trying-

LASHLEY SPEARS ERIC FROM THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE RIGHT OFF THE LADDER!!!

PJ Black is on top the ladder, somersault 450 into Lashley, lands the knees into chest! He has the title and climbs up top to hang the title!
