Welcome to 411’s WWE Extreme Rules 2015 Report. For even more coverage, don’t forget to follow me on Twitter at @ScottSlimmer.

We are LIVE in my hometown, beautiful Chicago, IL.

Bad News Barrett makes his way to ringside, and he’s got some bad news for us. Daniel Bryan isn’t medically cleared to compete tonight, but he’s decided to throw the good people of Chicago a bone this evening by facing Neville instead of Bryan. That just means Neville will be taking the Bull Hammer that was meant for Bryan.

Kickoff Show Match

Neville gets back to his feet and circles Barrett, but Barrett quickly catches him in a standing side head lock. Neville counters into a modified crucifix pin but only gets a two count. Barrett traps Neville in the corner and stops him to the mat, but Neville fights out and hits a flying crossbody for another two count. Neville kicks Barrett off the ring apron and sets up to springboard to the outside, but Barrett grabs him by the ankles and pulls him down to the floor. Barrett whips Neville into the barrier, and just like that Barrett is back in control. Barrett rolls Neville back into the ring and locks in a rear chin lock on the mat. Neville fights back to his feet, but Barrett launches him into the air and punts him in the ribs. Barrett makes the cover but only gets a two count. Neville again fights back to his feet and connects with a kick to the chest, but Barrett regains control with a big boot for another two count. Barrett chokes Neville against the second rope and hits a sweet slingshot backbreaker for yet another two count. Barrett goes back to the rear chin lock, but Neville again fights back to his feet. Neville hits a low drop kick to the knee and follows up with a drop kick to the head. Barrett rolls out of the ring, but Neville launches himself over the top rope and takes out Barrett on the outside. Neville follows Barrett back into the ring and hits a gorgeous bridging German suplex for a two count of his own. Neville hits the ropes and charges at Barrett, but Barrett catches him with Winds of Change for a two count. Barrett goes for Wasteland, but Neville escapes. Neville goes for a slingshot shoulder tackle, but Barrett catches him in mid-air and hits Wasteland for a looong two count. Barrett goes for the Bull Hammer, but Neville ducks and hits an enzuigiri. Neville heads up top and set up for the Red Arrow, but Barrett hits the ropes to make Neville lose his balance. Neville ducks a Bull Hammer up top and connects with a kick to the back of Barrett’s head. Neville heads back up top and hits the Red Arrow for the three count.

Match Result: Neville defeats Bad News Barrett with the Red Arrow.

Slimmer’s Rating: ***½ Neville continues to make the most of every opportunity.

Chicago Street Fight
Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper
 photo Dean_Ambrose_vs_Luke_Harper_Cropped_zpsudcmdr5x.jpg

Ambrose attacks Harper before Harper even makes it into the ring. Ambrose whips Harper into the barrier, pounds on his face, and then finally rolls him into the ring to officially start the match. Ambrose whips Harper back out of the ring and connects with a suicide dive. Ambrose whips Harper into the ring steps before retrieving a steel chair and a kendo stick from under the ring. Ambrose tosses the chair and the kendo stick into the ring before herding Harper back into the ring. Ambrose beats Harper with the kendo stick and sets up the chair. Ambrose tries to suplex Harper onto the chair, but Harper reverses and suplexes Ambrose onto the chair. Harper grabs the kendo stick and returns the beating he received a few minutes ago. Harper wedges the chair in the corner and heads for Ambrose, but Ambrose catches him with a boot to the jaw. Ambrose goes for a tornado DDT out of the corner, but Harper launches him away to counter. Harper picks up Ambrose and lawn darts him into the chair in the corner for a two count. Harper hits a scoop slam and goes for another onto the chair, but Ambrose counters and scoop slams Harper onto the chair. Ambrose successfully hits a tornado DDT out of the corner and goes to work will a volley of punches. Ambrose heads up top and connects with a diving elbow drop to the head for a two count. Ambrose grabs the kendo stick and chases Harper to the backstage area. Ambrose whips Harper into a stack of crates and connects with a kendo stick shot to the gut. Ambrose launches a massive PVC pipe at Harper, and it makes a sick thud as it bounces off the back of Harper’s head. Harper tries to steal an SUV, but Ambrose jumps in the passenger window as Harper begins to drive away. Harper and Ambrose drive out of the arena, presumably still brawling within the SUV. There are no count-outs or disqualifications, so technically the match is still going. It looks like this will be a running story throughout the show…

Kiss Me Arse Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus
 photo Dolph_Ziggler_vs_Sheamus_Cropped_zpseqwzlfz3.jpg

Ziggler goes right at Sheamus and traps him in the corner. Ziggler goes to work with punches to the gut, but Sheamus takes control with a head butt. Sheamus locks in a rear chin lock and violently drags Ziggler down to the mat. Ziggler breaks the hold and goes for the Fameasser, but Sheamus counters into a sit-out powerbomb for a two count. Sheamus drags Ziggler back to his feet just to level him with a short clothesline. Sheamus hits another short clothesline and goes right back to the rear chin lock. Ziggler valiantly fights back to his feet and stuns Sheamus with a barrage of running punches. Sheamus locks in a cloverleaf, but Ziggler rolls for a two count. Ziggler again goes for the Fameasser, but Sheamus counters into the Irish Curse for a two count. Sheamus hits a modified front slam and sets up for the Brogue Kick, but Ziggler counters into a rollup for another two count. Sheamus goes for another front slam, but Ziggler rolls him up and steals a three count. After the match, Sheamus protests and says that it clearly wasn’t a three count. The referee disagrees and orders Sheamus to kiss Ziggler’s arse. “Pucker up! Pucker up! Pucker up!” Ziggler hikes up his trucks to expose his arse, but Sheamus is having second (and third… and fourth… and fifth…) thoughts. Sheamus drops to his knees and prepares to pucker up, but instead he low blows Ziggler from behind. (And yes, that last sentence was one small word away from having a totally different meaning.) Sheamus hits the Brogue kick and then makes an unconscious Ziggler kiss his arse.

Match Result: Dolph Ziggler defeats Sheamus with a rollup pin.

Cena touches two corners, but he has trouble dragging Rusev far enough across the ring to touch the third corner. Rusev hits a spinning heel kick to level Cena. Rusev whips Cena with the chain and touches three corners, but Cena rolls out of the ring, preventing Rusev from touching the fourth corner. Cena pulls Rusev away from the fourth corner, resetting his progress. Rusev heads up top, but Cena pulls him off, causing Rusev to land right on the chain. Cena goes for a running shoulder tackle, but Rusev catches him in mid-air and counters into a fall away slam. Rusev hits a side kick, and Cena is down and out. Lana hops up onto the ring apron, much to the approval of the Chicago crowd. Rusev is upset that Lana is upstaging him, so he sends her to the back. Cena takes advantage of the distraction to hit Rusev with the Protobomb and the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Rusev counters into the Alabama Slamma. Rusev goes for the Accolade, but Cena counters into the STF. Rusev makes it to the ropes, but that doesn’t matter in a Russian Chain Match. Cena releases the hold and touches two corners, but Rusev slides out of the ring to halt Cena’s progress. Cena retrieves Rusev and again goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Rusev counters into the Accolade. Cena fights to his feet with Rusev on his back and slams Rusev into the corner. Big Show goes right for Reigns and muscles him into the corner. Show whips Reigns to the corner and drops him with a shoulder block on the rebound. Reigns fights back with a volley of punches and clotheslines Show over the top rope. Reigns follows Show out of the ring and retrieves a table from under the ring. Show kicks Reigns in the ribs and tosses the table back under the ring to avoid it coming into play. Show lifts Reigns, but Reigns floats over and shoves Show face-first into the ring post. Reigns hits his patented apron drop kick and once again retrieves the table from under the ring. Reigns sets up the table at ringside, but Show tosses Reigns into the barricade. Show punches the table in half to avoid Reigns being able to use it. Reigns grabs a kendo stick and drives it into Show’s ribs, but Show grabs the kendo stick and whips Reigns into the ring post. Show hits a second rope splash, and Reigns writhes in agony. Reigns makes it up at nine, so Show heads up top. Show is still up top, but Reigns springs to his feet and launches Show to the middle of the ring. Reigns connects with two Superman punches, but Show is still on his feet. Reigns goes for a third Superman punch, but Show catches him in mid-air and choke slams him over the top rope and through the two tables at ringside. Reigns just makes it back to his count before the count of ten, and Show is stunned. Show grabs the ring steps and sets them up next to the announce table. Show sets up the announce table, and the announce team heads for the hills. Show and Reigns both head back into the ring and show tries to spear Reigns through the table in the corner, but Reigns slides out of the way, causing Show to crash through the table. Both men make it back to their feet, and this time Reigns connects with a spear to Show. Show rolls out of the ring, and Reigns doesn’t know what it’s going to take to keep Show down. Bo Dallas makes his way down to the ring. He says that Chicago is called the Second City, but that doesn’t make any sense to him, because Chicago is number one! Number one… at not taking a shower before heading to the arena. Number one… at disrespecting an inspirational hero. The fans could all be kinder to each other, but only if they shut their mouths and listen to Bo. Because all you have to do is Bolieve… FEED ME MORE! Here comes Ryback, but Dallas attacks him on his way into the ring. Ryback springs back to his feet and hits a spinebuster followed by the Meat Hook clothesline. Ryback follows up with Shell Shocked, and the crowd seems much more inspired by Ryback than they did by Dallas.

Byron Saxton is in the back with Rusev and Lana. Lana announces that the final chapter of Rusev vs. Cena will be at Payback in an I Quit match.

Steel Cage Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins (Champion) vs. Randy Orton
 photo Seth_Rollins_vs_Randy_Orton_Cropped_zpsgxcelssw.jpg

Remember that the RKO is banned in this match, and Kane is the gatekeeper. They’re using an modified version of the cage with three panels on each side of the ring instead of two. That should make the cage stiff (and more brutal) than it is in the two-panel configuration. Rollins quickly tries to escape the cage, but Orton pulls him back down to the mat. Rollins whips Orton to the ropes, but Orton catches Rollins on the rebound and whips him to the corner. Orton stomps on Rollins’ gut and catapults him into the corner, but Rollins catches the cage and begins to climb. Orton retrieves Rollins and goes to work with mounted punches, but Rollins counters into a buckle bomb in the opposite corner. Rollins calls for Kane to open the door, and Kane obliges. Orton stops Rollins from climbing out the door, so Kane re-locks the cage. Rollins whips Orton face-first into the cage and then goes to work with mounted punches. Rollins again begins to climb, but Orton chases him up the cage. Orton connects with an uppercut and whips Rollins to the ropes, but Rollins catches Orton with a clothesline on the rebound. Rollins starts taunting Kane, which probably isn’t the smartest idea. Rollins charges Orton, but Orton sidesteps him and tosses him into the cage. Orton and Rollins slug it out in the middle of the ring. Rollins hits the ropes and Orton goes for the power slam, but Rollins grabs the ropes to evade Orton. Both men heads up the cage, but Rollins knocks Orton back down to the mat. Rollins leaps off the side of the cage and connects with a knee to Orton’s head. Rollins makes it all the way up to the top of the cage, but Orton quickly joins him up top. Orton and Rollins exchange punches up top, but Orton drags Rollins back into the cage. Rollins knocks Orton down to the mat and goes for another diving knee to the head, but Orton counters into a power slam for a two count. Rollins lands a side kick and gets a two count of his own. Rollins heads to the top once again, but Orton is in hot pursuit. Rollins is on the outside of the cage, but Orton has him by the hair. J&J Security rush to ringside to try to pull Rollins to the outside, but Orton superplexes Rollins back into the ring. J&J Security tell Kane to open the door, but he orders them (quite sternly) to get away from the door. Noble and Mercury start climbing the cage from the outside, but Orton tosses Rollins into the cage to knock them off the cage. Rollins again tries to climb, but Orton pulls him crotch-first onto the top rope. Orton hits his patented rope-assisted DDT, but he can’t go for the RKO. ORTON WITH THE PEDIGREE! I love how this plays off of Orton’s championship match with Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 2007 when Sweet Chin Music was banned. Orton sets up for the Skull Punt, which has not been banned. Orton goes for the punt, but Rollins counters into a kick to the head. Rollins calls for Kane to open the door, and Kane once again obliges. Rollins makes it halfway out the door, but Orton pulls him back to the middle of the ring and hits a backbreaker. Orton begins to climb out the door, but Kane shuts the door in his face. Rollins goes for a drop kick to Orton, but Orton slides out of the way, causing Rollins to kick the door right into Kane’s face. Rollins and Orton both struggle to climb out of the door, but Kane gets back to his feet and slams the door in both of their faces. An enraged Kane charges into the ring, followed by J&J Security. Kane hits J&J Security with a double choke slam and sets his sights on Rollins. Rollins begs off, so Kane hits Orton with a choke slam instead. Rollins heads for the door, but Kane delivers a choke slam to him as well. There’s big red carnage in the ring! Kane places Rollins on top of Orton, but Orton kicks out at two. Kane goes for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Orton counters into an RKO on Kane. Rollins RKOs Orton, and that gives Rollins enough time to escape the cage. So the question remains, was the RKO banned for both Rollins and Orton, or just Orton?

Match Result: Seth Rollins escapes the cage after an RKO to Randy Orton.
