Slightly new gear for Alexa, while Bayley is repping Dusty Rhodes. Snapmare and elbows from Bayley beore she runs into a knee. She then slingshots Bayley into the second rope for a one count. Bliss clubs away before wrenching Bayley’s neck, all while talking smack. She snaps her down to the mat for another one count. Bayley hits some shoulder thrusts and running elbows in the coner. She hoists her up and slams her into the corner again but goes to the well too many times. Alexa hops over for a sunset flip but Bayley counters with her own pin for a near fall. Alexa then murders her with a right hand before a commercial break. Returning, Bayley is way out of it. A special video package airs to hype Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. Triple H and Tye Dillinger speak about their pasts in Japan. Samoa Joe returns next week!

Someone off-camera tries to interview Rhyno about his actions. He ignores them and walks off into the sunset in his ring gear.

NXT Tag Team Championship 2 Out of 3 Falls: The Revival (c) vs. American Alpha

Gable and Dash lock up and Gable just owns him. He quickly applies an ankle lock so Dawson gets off the apron and pulls his teammate to safety. They are so good at the little things. Dawson and Jordan end up as the legal men and Dawson surprisingly takes him down to the mat. Jordan turns it around with a fireman’s carry and proves to be too quick for Dawson. Dawson tuns and gets in a cheap shot on Gable, allowing Dash to run in with a cheap shot. The Revival go for a double team on Jordan but he gets free and hits a double clothesline. Gable comes in and they tease the double German spot once again but the Revival hold on, so American Alpha rolls back and hit stereo dropkicks. Following a commercial, the Revival just annihilate the knee of Jordan in the corner. They tag in and out while working the leg. Dawson wraps it around the ring post several times. Dash and Dawson just methodically work the knee and it’s glorious.  They prevent Jordan from making the tag while wearing him down. Dawson tries a suplex but has it blocked and Jordan is able to make the tag. Gable hits both champions with dropkicks and follows corner punches with a second rope cross body on Dash. He hits a vicious exploder on Dawson for two. Gable sends Dash outside but it backfires when he pulls the ropes down on Gable and he crashes outside in nasty fashion. Time for another commercial. Dawson nearly decapitates Gable with a clothesline for two. Now they work the heat on Gable, including the old school drop toe hold/elbow drop combination. Dash delivers a headbutt and wrenches away at Gable’s neck. Gable sends Dash outside and has an opening but Dawson cuts him off to prevent the tag. Dawson puts Gable on the apron and wails away on him. Dash clotheslines him back in and Dawson gets two. Gable runs into a sick spinebuster for yet another near fall. Gable nearly gets a roll up but Dash stops him. They then knock Jordan off the apron and again beat up Gable in the corner. They hit their top rope leg drop double team but only get two since Dawson took too long to cover. The Revival continue to dish out the punishment on Gable. He finally gets fee, makes them bump into each other and hot tag to Jordan. He comes in on fire and THE STRAPS ARE DOWN! Shoulder thrusts and a massive spear on Dash for two. It was better than Rhyno’s earlier and all of Reigns’, Edge’s and Batista’s. Jordan takes Dash up top but is sent off. Gable catches a leaping Dawson with a belly to belly. Dash hits a cross body on Jordan but Jordan rolls through into an ankle lock. Dawson gets on the apron to hold Dash, but Gable slides out and applies an ankle lock on him! Dash taps out at 17:13 and American Alpha lead 1-0. Dawson comes off the top for a sunset flip but Jordan stops it, backdrops Dash and covers Dawson for two. He blocks another pin for two and Dawson kicks out into his own pin for two. A Dawson DDT gets another near fall. Dawson goes back to the leg work from earlier and applies an inverted figure four. Dash prevents Gable from saving Jordan and we’e evened up at 18:33 as Jordan taps! He ties it again but Jordan pulls him into a small package for two. Gable gets tagged and rolls up Dawson several times for near falls. Tag to Jordan who hits a shoulder thrust. They try Grand Amplitude but Dawson takes out Gable. The Shatter Machine is broken up as Gable takes out Dash. Jordan rolls up Dawson for two and rolls into an ankle lock. Dawson then rolls him up for two and slaps on the inverted figure four again. Gable comes off the top with a diving headbutt to break it up. He then cross body blocks Dash and they both fall outside. Gable still gets the tag but Dawson is on it and hits a knee to Gable on the apron. They fight on the apron and trade right hands. Gable tries to German suplex him off the apron but Dash blocks it for his teammate. They then hit Shatter Machine on the apron! Dawson slides in and covers to retain.

Winners and Still NXT Tag Team Champions: The Revival in 22:08

These teams had a trilogy of matches since April and all three have been excellent. They blend old school style with some of the spots you’d see nowadays and it’s great. Their chemistry is the best I’ve seen from tag teams in a really long time and this was a fitting final chapter them. ****
