411’s WWE Monday Night Raw Report 10.13.14

So we start the show with RAW from last week, which is perfectly fine. We get a bit of a build up to the match with Cena and Ambrose, including the segment from Smackdown and Cena’s ball-holding antics.

It appears that there is a “No Holds Barred” Contract on a pole stipulation to this match.

Ambrose to start RAW proper!

Ambrose on the mic. There’s nothing he would love more th to be locked in a cell with Seth. Just Dean and Seth inside a cell where he can pummel him so bad that he wishes he never even met Ambrose. Before he gets there, though, there is something that is really pissing him off. Another matter to deal with. The face of WWE. He’s gotta get through John Cena first. He told John he has no problem dropping him where he stands, and that’s what he did on RAW. Cena did the same on Smackdown. It’s quite clear what The Authority wants them to do; tear each other apart. There’s only one way to do this, though. He’s going to Hell in a Cell, grab the contract, and beat John Cena senseless with it. Then he’s going to the cell and he’s going to toss Seth’s head all around the cell like a basketball, and there’s nothing Cena or The Authority can do about it.

Cena’s music hits. He says everyone is excited! He tells Dean to relax. Two weeks from now, this match will happen and the WWE universe wants to see. They know Dean and Cena have a chance to see who finally will be able to get their hands on Seth Rollins. Dean is out here trash talking and chest beating, why? So Cena can come out and Dean can leave him unconcious again? Maybe he walks out, maybe he doesn’t. Cena is going to do Dean a favor and give him some advice. Ambrose has the match of his life coming up in two weeks; shut up and instead of acting crazy, use the two weeks to get ready for the biggest match of Dean’s career.

“Thanks for the veteran advice, Big Brotha.” haha. He is ready. He was born ready. He’s been ready to whip Cena’s ass for years. Don’t talk to him like he’s some kind of chump and like he gives a damn about Ambrose at all.

Cena says it’s his instability that will ruin his opportunity. Go ahead and try to drop Cena, and you’ll see why he’s been to the mountain top 15 times. He says Ambrose is out of his league and over his head. He tells Ambrose to pipe down. And Ambrose drops the mic. haha.

Triple H’s music hits. He is out and tells Cena and Ambrose to calm down. He says wait till Hell in a Cell where they can rip each other apart, which they can see on the WWE Network. Steph says she wants to see them in tag team action. Ambrose and Cena as partners? H doesn’t think they can get along for five minutes before they attack each other. Triple H and Steph make a bet. Tonight there will be a triple threat tag team match. Cena/Ambrose vs Goldust and Stardust s The Usos.

Why did they make it seem like seeing them team up is something huge?

Enter Goldy and Cody.

-Commercial Break-

Match 1: John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs The Usos vs Goldust and Stardust
Ambrose and an Uso to start! Ambrose with a shoulder block to knock em down, Ambrose hits a hip toss the a front faced headlock. Tag to Cena. Cena works the arm. Whip to the corner. Cena with a bulldog. Cover for 1…2..NO! He grabs the face and backs into a tag by Ambrose. Double elbow from Cena and Ambrose. Ambrose with another elbow and a pin for 1…NO! Whip to the corner by Ambrose, but he meets a boot. Uso gets a tag! Ambrose pulls the arms behind. Ambrose with a short clothesline. Tag to Cena then they double team again. Seriously, they’re hitting Tag Team 101 Double Team. Whip by Cena, and he is met with an uppercut. Uso goes for a crossbody but Cena rolls through, stands up, and looks for the AA. Uso hops off and hits a superkick. Pin for 1….2…NO! Uso grabs the arm then tags in his brother, who hits a back elbow. Pin for 1…2..NO! Cena is able to break a submission and hit a dropkick. He runs for a tag, but SAMOAN DROP! Pin for 1…2..NO! Tag to Uso. Cena is in the corner. Uso with an arm drag into a hold. Double tag to Jimmy and Dean! Ha! Jimmy Dean!

Jimmy tosses Ambrose to the ropes. Cross body! Ambrose with the beat down. Whip and he is met with a kick. Ambrose hits the ropes, bounces off, and hits a clothesline to Jimmy! Cody is mad that they’re not getting any action, so he pulls Jimmy from out of the ring and tosses him into the timekeeper’s area.

We return to Cody and, I think Jimmy, in the ring. Cody works the spine of Jimmy. I miss about twelve seconds. Just pretend Cody did something cool. Cody’s got a double hook from behind and is able to back into a tag from Goldust. Goldust with a right on who is now confirmed as Jey. Goldust with another right after a nice little taunt. Whip to the corner, but Jey hits a splash on Cody, then a kick to Goldy, sending him to the outside. Now Cole says it’s Jimmy. Fuck you Cole. So it’s Jimmy, who reaches for a tag but Goldust is there to pull Jey off of the apron! Ambrose out of nowhere with a clothesline to Goldust!! Cody whip Goldust back in the ring. Tag to Goldust! Tag to Cena! Cena with a shoulder tackle. Another. You can’t see Cena. Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the AA. Cody hops out of it, lands on his feet! Goldust is in with a powerslam to Cena! Jey in with a Superkick!!! Jimmy is in the ring! They hit the ropes! Suicide Dive from The Usos to Goldust and Stardust!! Cena is up on the turnbuckle!! CROSSBODY FROM CENA!!!!! AMbrose is up top! He wants some, too! He flies!!! Ambrose on his feet! He tosses Goldust back in the ring, then tosses Cena back in…right into a suplex attempt, but Cena reverses.
Ambrose with DIRTY DEEDS to Goldust JUST AS CODY WALKS RIGHT INTO AN AA!! Nice!!!

The match itself was pretty boring and didn’t truly pick up until the end. Great ending, though.

The music of Trips hits, and he comes out to tell Steph that she was right. He hands Steph a dollar. He hates to lose. Maybe the guys lacked the proper motivation, maybe they need that…spark (the cosmic one?) He brings up Rollins and says why wait till HIAC to see who gets it. Let’s do this: Let’s hang a contract on a pole in the corner, and NO Holds Barred John Cena vs Dean Ambrose. Only one will get the chance to face Rollins and it will be the man that takes the contract down….

“Tonight, Hell starts for both of you.”

Eh, Trips….delivery was ok, but dialogue was so so….

Match 2: AJ Lee and Tony Acero vs Paige and Alicia Fox
AJ to Alicia to start. Alicia goes for a body slam but sucks, so AJ gives her a nice kick to the outtie belly button. AJ grabs Alicia’s hand and brings her to the corner to tag Paige, but Paige tells AJ no. Alicia hits the sloppiest backbreaker known to backbreakers and drops AJ then tags in Paige. Paige loves that AJ is knocked out and gloats a bit, but AJ uses her super powers to stand up and await for Paige to notice. Paige does and runs out of the ring. AJ chases. Paige enters and tags Alicia. AJ goes for Paige, but Alicia attacks. Alicia goes for a big boot in the corner, but AJ moves and Alicia is locked up in the corner. AJ goes to tag Layla, but Layla hops down.
AJ smiles. Alicia smashes AJ in the corner, but AJ holds the ropes and Alicia flies back. Shining Wizard! Pin for 1…2…3!!!!

After the match, AJ runs up the ramp and attacks Layla. She tosses her down the ramp then into the barricade. AJ grabs the title and smiles all the way up the ramp on her way to me.

-Commercial Break-

Triple H and Double D are talking in the back. Enter Orton who says he’s going to beat Dolph’s ass. He brings up Rollins and says that he doesn’t mind the kid, so long as he doesn’t try and steal Orton’s spotlight. He says that he wants a match at Hell in A Cell, too. So whoever Rollins faces at Rollins, Orton wants the other guy. Orton vs Cena in the main event or Orton vs Ambrose in the main event at Hell in a Cell. What say you, Trips and Tits? They say it sounds good.

We get a super creepy video about Rowan. It’s all kinds of awesome and involves a fake horse and a real beard.

-Commercial Break-

While Orton takes twenty years to get to the ring, Cesaro talks a bit about how Dolph is afraid of him and owes him a rematch.

Match 3: Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler
Lockup to start. Cesaro wants to be IC Champ. Orton backs Dolph into the corner. Ref breaks it at 4. Lockup again and this time Dolph gets Orton in the corner, broken up at 4. Orton goes for a right, but Dolph blocks and gets the better of him until orton heads to the outside. Dolph follows, Orton attacks with a kick, then tries to send Dolph into the steps face first. Dolph blocks and sends Orton into the steps. Dolph sends Orton into the ring, then into the corner. Hits some body shots then a splash in the corner! Dolph with a cravat from behind in the middle of the ring. Orton is able to lift him, though, and hit a back suplex. Orton sends Dolph in the corner. Dolph blocks with a boot and sends Orton face first into corner 1. He sends Orton into Corner 2 with a another head to the corner. One more corner! Followed by a nice ass dropkick. Pin for 1….2..NO! Dolph goes to grab Orton but Orton sends Dolph into the corner face first. He hops up and stomps Dolph. Ziggler rolls to the apron. Orton poses. He grabs Dolph by the hair and pulls him up slowly. Dolph is all like hellz nah, and hangs him up on the ropes. Dolph heads in for a pin and a kickout at 1. Orton heads to the outside. Dolph follows. Orton tries to attack but Dolph reverses and sends Orton into the barricade. Dolph rolls orton in the ring. Pin for 1…2..NO! Dolph grabs Orton’s head then whips him into the corner, but Orton cuts it short and sends Dolph RIGHT INTO THE RINGPOST! That shit looked vicious!

Orton grabs Dolph and sends him to the arpon. Orton wants the DDT. He pulls Dolph forward, sets up, but Dolph sends Orton over! Orton lands on the apron! DROPKICK TO ORTON! Dolph is favoring the left leg a bit. Orton heads towards the ramp. Looks like he may be walking out…Seth Rollins appears on the ramp as we go for a break.

We are back, and Orton has himself a nice armpit full of Dolph’s hair. Dolph is able to get out of it. He goes for another dropkick, but Orton grabs the legs and slingshots Dolph into the corner. Seth is still watching at the bottom of the ramp. Pin in the middle of the ring for 1..2…NO! Orton is up. He sends Dolph into the corner then places him at the top. Orton wants the superplex. Dolph fights out of it, hits a headbutt. Orton hits a headbutt of his own. Dolph with rights and lefts Orton is down on the map. Ziggler is too tired to stand. He’s crotched. Orton is getting up. Ziggler stands. Orton knocks the leg, and Dolph’s testicles feel the pain. Orton sets up for the superplex again. SUPERPLEX to Dolph! Dolph is dead. Orton with a pin. 1…2…NO! Dolph is up, albeit struggling. Orton with a right. Ziggler fires back. He hits another gut shot. A few more. Head shot, but Orton tries a right. Ziggler fights back, and Orton hits a kick, sending Ziggler down. Orton goes for a clothesline, but Ziggler hits one of his own. ANother. Splash in the corner. Neckbreaker! Dolph is feelin hisssseeelllf! Elbow to Orton! Pin for 1…2..NO! Ziggler up. Attacks. Powerslam from Orton! Pin for 1…2…NO!!! Orton sends Dolph to the outside and sets up fo rthe DDT. He hits it!! The voices! He hears them!! Orton goes for the RKO! Ziggler with a roll up!! Pin for 1…2..NO! Goes for a DDT, but Orton breaks it! Dolph with a Fameasser attempt but Orton moves! Ziggler hits Pin for 1…2….NO!!! THIS IS AWESOME chant! Aw, good for them! Both men take their time to stand. Dolph wants the Zig Zag! Orton knocks him off, misses a clothesline!

Ziggler goes for the Fameasser, but Orton holds onto him and looks to set up for a powerbomb! Instead, he pushes Dolph up in the air! RKO! Pin for 1…2….3!!!!!

Rollins stands ringside while Orton gloats about how awesome he was in that match. Rollins heads into the ring. He stares down Orton. Rollins hits the ropes. Curb Stomp to Dolph Ziggler! Ouch.

That RKO was so sick, Dolph’s hair changed colors.

Match 4: Seth Rollins vs Jack Swagger
Seth with a go behind into a side headlock. Swagger tosses him forward and rushes, but Seth is too quick. Seth with another go behind, but Swagger locks the head. Seth drops to the floor. Swagger goes up, grabs Seth, but Seth hops down and pushes Swagger. Seth with another attempt from behind, but Swagger grabs the arm. Seth reverses and locks the arm up behind Swagger. ROpe work ends with Seth sliding to the outside, smiling his ass off, calling this “too easy.” Oh you slimeball. Seth heads back in at five and Swagger attacks, then grabs Seth from the outside and tosses him back in. He locks Seth up in the ropes, but Seth hits an elbow and sends Swagger back. Seth goes to the turnbuckle. Swagger runs up for the belly to belly, but Seth drops him and Swagger is hung up on the top rope. Seth pulls on the arm hard then hits some Divorce Court (it’s Divorce Court, right Csonka?)

Seth has Swagger in the corner and works him with some kicks. He twists the arm then sends Swagger into the turnbuckle shoulder first. Seth pulls on Swagger from behind then locks the left arm. Swagger hops up on the 2nd rope, but Seth heads to the outside. Swagger follows and hits a hard ass clothesline. He’s got a black chick in the crowd going NUUUTTTS! haha. That was cool. Swagger with rights to Seth. He sends Seth into the ring and notices Orton at the top of the ramp. Swagger is distracted. Seth is able to knock Swagger off the apron then hit a suicide dive to the outside! Seth and Orton make eye contact and we go to break.

We return about two minutes after I return. Orton is closer to the ring. Swagger locks the belly of Seth and hits a sweet ass wheelbarrow into German suplex. Pin for 1…2..NO! Swagger gets up. Swagger sends Seth into the corner, but Seth flips up and is able to turn around…into a back body drop! He’s laid out in the corner. WE THE PEOPLE! Swagger Bomb to Seth! Pin for 1…2..NO!! Swagger is up. Seth is up. Kick by Seth. Seth goes up top, flies! He’s caught by Swagger and Swagger sends him down! Pin for 1..2…….NO! Swagger clips the knee of Rollins! He locks in the Patriot Lock, but Rollins is able to roll through and send Swagger into the corner. Swagger comes back, and Seth is able to hit a superkick right to the face. Seth grabs the knee a bit. Seth uses the ropes to help stand then goes for the Curb Stomp! Swagger picks the ankle!!!

SWAGGER WITH THE PATRIOT LOCK!!! Seth crawls to the ropes! He gets em! Swagger pulls Seth, Seth stands. Swagger sends him into the corner then grabs him only for Seth to roll Swagger up and hold the tights!!!

Swagger is pissed! He gets in the face of the ref! Orton runs in the ring, tells Seth to “watch this,” turns Swagger around! RKO!!!

Seth gets in the face of Orton. They talk shit. The crowd wants them to fight. They talk some more shit. Seth brings up the time he borrowed Orton’s car and left a scent in there. He wants Orton to know that it was him. Orton is hurt by the confession and stands angry while Seth walks out of the ring sayin, “that smell? It was me…cuz I’m the shit!”

-Commercial Break-

Renee Young is backstage with Dean Ambrose. What can we expect from him tonight? He says what not to expect is for him to go out and be a nice guy to Cena. He’s not a nice guy. Triple H knows that; he’s known Ambrose for a long time. When he says any time, anywhere, he means it. He gets to put Cena in his place two weeks early. Cena and Rollins both are on the HIIIIIGGGHHHWAAAY…..to Hell. Renee gives him a look that says, “Do that again…please.”

Big Show is in the back with that new dude. He brings up how no one has pinned or submitted Rusev (except Lana). Show says that he knocked Rusev unconcious and proved that Rusev isn’t unbeatable. Tonight, he’s going to shatter Rusev’s mouth. Show says no offense to Mark Henry, but if someone is going to carry all the millions (and millions), then put that weight on Show’s shoulders (Showders?) and he’ll show Rusev exactly what he learned in sensitivity training.

Lana on the stick (giggity). She wants to talk about Columbus. Some would say that Columbus was stubborn, clueless, and an egomaniac that simply got lost. Others would say that he wasn’t very nice to the indians. The fact is that most non-indians are stubborn, clueless just like Columbus who will lose their money faster than the Braves will lose their baseball game. haha. Cheap heat never looked so good. The crowd is ALL OVER THEM! haha. nice.

Rusev says that Show’s actions will have consequences. Crowd is loud. Rusev said if Show had a spine, he would rip it out with his hand. Just like Mark Henry, Show will fail his stupid Americans. Big Show will be crushed.

Match 5: The Big Show vs Rusev
Rusev runs…..RIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT! Show with a blow to the back! Show sends Rusev into the corner. Chop to Rusev! USA CHANT! Show tosses Rusev to the outside. Show follows and grabs Rusev by the head. He slams him into the announce table. Show turns Rusev around. Hard chop to Rusev! Show tosses Rusev into the barricade backfirst. Show tosses Rusev back into the ring. Show enters then hits a headbutt. Show sends Rusev back to the outside. The ref starts the count. Lana tells Rusev to stand up. Show tosses Rusev into the barricade again, this time rampside. Show sends Rusev back into the ring and give Rusev another chop. Show with a headbutt. He hits the ropes. BIG ELBOW from Big Show!!

The crowd chants with a Tomahawk chop! Show is about to chop Rusev, but does the TOMAHAWK and the crowd LOVES that shit!! haha. Show sends Rusev to the ropes, hits the ropes himself, then….RUSEV WITH A DROPKICK!!! Rusev attacks the back of Show with kicks. He’s choppin the big tree down. Big Show is back to his feet, but Rusev clotheslines Show over the top rope.

We are back to the show with Show on it. Rusev crushes Show in the corner, focusing the attack on the back. Rusev with a front-faced headlock. Show stands and tries to turn into it. He hits some right underhooks to the ribs then a headbutt to finally break the hold. Show sits atoppthe ropes. He stands on the 2nd rope. He flies for an elbow, but Rusev rolls out of the way!!! Rusev controls the head again. Show is up though. He breaks the hold with a shot to the gut and a body slam outta nowhere. Show stands. He wants the KO punch! Rusev ducks! Rusev with a kick to the midsection! Rusev locks in The Accolade!!!
Mark Henry is here! He heads down the ramp and hops on the apron! Rusev breaks the hold and gies Henry a right hand. He goes back to Show to lock in The Accolade! Henry flies in with a clothesline to Rusev!!

Surprisingly good for a big guy match.

Show and Henry chat about what happened. As Show tells Henry it’s ok, the Russian flag drops behind them. Show and Henry head out of the ring. They surround Rusev and Lana. Lana steps away and Rusev is stuck between two big dudes. Rusev goes to attack Henry. He gets a few hits in, turns to Show, then gets Knocked the F Out.

Young is backstage with Sheamus. She wants to know how Sheamus feels about last week. He says two Mizs sucks. He calls them a bad rash then says he’s got the perfect cure. Two Brogue Kicks. He wants Renee to call him in the morning. That won’t sit well, Sheamus…

we return to a preview of that dude who is gay but isn’t gay. Instead, let’s watch an AJ video

Match 6: The Miz vs Sheamus
I needed water. Missed the first twenty seconds. Sheamus tries to grab Miz by the ropes, but Miz hits an elbow. He is met with a hip toss. Sheamus kicks the back of The Miz. Sheamus grabs The Miz by the chin, and through some sort of transference, Sandow feels the pain. Sheamus tosses Miz out of the ring into Sandow. Miz and Sandow are on the outside of the ring. Miz runs into the ring, and Sandow does the same, but stops on the outside. Miz falls to the mat and begs for mercy, and so, too, does Sandow! haha. Miz attacks Sheamus in the corner then hits his clothesline witha few lefts to boot. Miz hits the ropes then kicks Sheamus in the face. Pin for 1…2..NO! Miz with a chokehold until Sheamus gets out. Hits an axe handle. Another. Knee to Miz. Miz in the corner. Sheamus goes for another knee, but Miz moves. DDT to Sheamus. Pin for 1…2..NO! Miz slaps Sheamus around a bit, but Sheamus ain’t havin it. He stands, grabs the boot, then tosses Miz over the top rope. Sandow flips forward and holds his knee all Peter Griffin like. Both MIz and Sandow head under the ring. Sheamus grabs Sandow’s leg and pulls him out.
Sheamus goes for Miz, but Damien distracts, and eats a Brogue Kick! The ref is at 9 when he realizes it. Miz heads into the ring. The ref hits 10. Sheamus loses!

Backstage, some of the cast of Total Divas are here to welcome someone. Cameron walks by with Summer Rae and the evil Bella. Cameron bumps into Naomi and gets all in her face until the homegirl stands up for the divas. Nothing of note happens here. I should know who she is, guys?

Match 7: Summer Rae, Cameron, and Nikki Bella vs Brie Bella, Natalya and Naomi
Rosa Mendes is ringside. Cameron and Natalya to start. Cameron with a slap to Natalya. Natalya hits one of her own. Cameron backs up into the corner. Nattie goes to attack, but Cameron moves. Suplex from Cameron. Tag to Nikki. She comes in for a pin and gets 1…2..NO! Nikki tries to do the Yes Chant to Brie, but Nattie rolls her up for 1…2.NO! Nikki with a front faced headlock. She turns and sends Nattie into the corner. Tag to Summer Rae. Summer kicks Nattie down. Summer dances a bit then misses a leg drop. Tag to Brie! Brie with a clothesline. A knee to Summer. Summer with a whip, but Brie hits a kick, goes to attack her sister, and Summer rolls her up with 1…2.NO! Dropkick from Brie. She hits Brie mode. Knee to Summer’s face. She pulls Summer in the midde of the ring and pins for 1..2..NO! Cameron breaks it up! Naomi is here to send her to the outside, but Cameron is able to reverse and send her out! Nattie and Cameron tangle all the way to the outside. Summer Rae with a headbutt.
Hard tag to Summer from Nikki. Nikki is in and attacks the back of Brie. She sets up for the torture rack, but Brie gets out! Brie with the Sex Factor! Pin for 1…2..3!!!

We’re back with Renee Young and John Cena. He says the crowd is on fiyah, and they get a special treat. In just a few minutes, he’s going to face Dean Ambrose and all night, the Universe has been buzzing. They know what’s at stake. They saw Dean leave Cena unconcious. They cheered for Ambrose, because they see the same thing that he sees in Ambrose — oy.

Cena says tonight is brutal, destructive, no pin falls, no submissions, guts is not enough. There’s a contract. It is about toughness, guts, and brains. The Authority says he and Ambrose are going to rip each other to pieces. If that’s what Cena’s gotta do, that’s what he’s going to do. Tonight is about….stuff.

Match 8: Contract on a Pole Match
Dean Ambrose vs John Cena
Both guys run straight up the corner for the contract, then link up for some right hands. Ambrose hits the ropes and splashes into Cena then gets a beat down on him in the corner. Ambrose tries for the contract, but Cena grabs him and hits a back suplex. Cena hits a Fisherman’s suplex. Cena with another suplex. One more!! Cena sends Dean into the corner, whips him again, goes for the bulldog, but Ambrose sends Cena out of the ring!!! Instead of going for the contract, he paces around the ring then heads to the outside and fights Cena up the ramp! Dean with ak nee to the face of Cena! They are atop the stage now. Cena looks for the Attitude Adjustment, but Ambrose gets out and hits a suplex on the stage!! Ambrose grabs his back, and heads down the ramp. He makes his way to the ring, selling his back. He’s midway across the ring. He heads up the corner. Cena is here. Electric Chair Drop to Ambrose!! Cena goes for the contract this time. Ambrose pulls him down. Cena sets up for the AA. Ambrose bounces off the ropes and hits Cena. Dean sets up for the Dirty Deeds, but Cena reverses and locks in the STF. Dean bites Cena! hahaha. Cena rolls onto the apron. Ambrose with a dropkick, knocking Cena off the apron. Dean runs to the ropes. SUICIDE DIVE!!!

Cena is able to get the upperhand, sending Dean into the steps. He tosses him aside then ends up close to The Authority who are by the announce tables. Dean whips Cena into the barricade.
