411’s LIVE WWE Raw Report 5.11.15
* Welcome.

We are one week away from RAW BINGO!!! And I’ve got some good news: We’ve still got spots left! Only a few, so get em in while you can!

Now, to RAW!

Whatcha thinkin bout, AJ?

RAW!
IS!
DERP!!

We are LIVE, and a limo pulls up to the arena! Commentary is quiet as it pulls into a driveway, presumably in the back area of the arena. A slight flicker of the screen, and the limo explodes.

Just kidding, it’s Triple H.

Cole calls the crowd “rocky.” Lillian introduces Triple H as Cole brings up this month long absence allowing The Authority to go through some troubles. Cole claims that Daniel Bryan is here tonight to address rumors regarding his health and the belt.

“Daddy’s home,” says Triple H. He makes me feel all kinds of awkward. He says this is what he says to his kids when he returns home, and immediately they behave better. It appears he’s got to say this to his DOO, Kane and Rollins. He brings up that he can’t even leave for a couple of weeks without people doing what he tells them to do. He will clear the air once and for all. Paul calls out Kane and Seth for a “Four Lettered Name” group meeting.

Seth welcomes H back, and says he wants to be the first to say that he totally agrees with Trips 100%. They want what’s best for business, which is Seth at the top of his game, but he cannot function at the top of his game when he has a 7 foot cancer walking around trying to poison The Authority from the inside. He doesn’t know if Kane is jealous of Seth being “the man,” but he feels like Kane has made it his personal mission to make sure that Seth loses his title. First, the Triple Threat stipulation. Then last week, he added Ambrose. Ambrose gets a huge pop from his homestate. He brings up Kane assaulting him on numerous occasions. Another Ambrose chant. Seth doesn’t think Kane is fit to be the DOO anymore. Kane gets the clout, but this is not the same Kane Trips used to run with. He’s broken and can’t be fixed. Maybe it’s time to take him out back and put that old dog out of his misery. It’s harsh, he knows…

Speakin of Old Yeller, here’s Kane, suited and booted. Kane says he may be older than Seth, but with age comes wisdom, and right now, his wisdom is telling him to chokeslam Seth straight to Hell.

Seth says THIS is what he’s talking about. Kane tells Seth to be a man. Seth tells Triple H to do something about this. Triple H says ENOUGH. He tells Kane he respects him, but Kane needs to get on the same page as the rest of The Authority and check his ego aside. H gets it, Rollins can be…a little irritating and sometimes you just want to punch him right in the face. But you don’t, because Triple H says he doesn’t and because Seth is what’s best for business. H has no choice but to say that if Seth Rollins doesn’t walk out of Payback as champ, then maybe Kane’s services are no longer needed. Kane says it’s a shame H feels that way, because as much as he respects Triple H, it may be worth it to just screw Seth over. Seth yells INSUBORDINATION and Trips tells him to shut up.

Triple H, back to Kane, says he needs to know right now…if this isn’t something Kane can do, this is the place where they part ways. Kane is silent. Triple H wants to know that they are all on the same page. Tonight, all four men who are fighting for the title will see action tonight, and since Triple H wants to know if Kane is invested, he’ll go one-on-one tonight with Roman Reigns. As for Rollins, he’s facing Randy Orton.

Of all people, Jamie Noble steps up to talk! haha. He says it must be easy for Triple H to put the champ in a match when we’re 6 days away from a PPV, and just in case Trips hasn’t been watching at home, Seth Rollins is the man around here! H laughs it off, then mockingly asks if these two were still here. He says that there’s one more guy that needs to see competition…IN fact, he should see it right now. Triple H gets down a bit to be eye level with Jamie Noble, and says that since the two of them seem to stack up as one m, it’s J&J vs Dean Ambrose.

Triple H tells Kane and Seth to come with him, and Ambrose’s music hits.

Match 1: J&J Security vs Dean Ambrose
Mercury starts with Ambrose. Ambrose rolls out of the ring, pulls the leg out from Noble, then rolls back in. Mercury follows, but Ambrose gets the upperhand and attacks Mercury in the corner. Ziggler is here thinking he’s Zabka.

Barrett is out and says over the past few weeks, a common peasant has been attempting to challenge the king. A peasant by the name of Neville. Gravity has not forgotten Neville. In fact, he’ll be fully reacquanted when he faces him this Sunday at Pay Per View. For now, though, tonight he’s going to steal a page from his good friend Sheamus and give Dolph a new job. He’ll go from being the common show off to being a royal ass kisser.

Dolph is laid out in the ring. Sheamus heds into the ring and gives Dolph a little kick. Sheamus with some more kicks and a few slaps. Sheamus removes his hat, so you know it’s real. His hair is slicked back, making any possible threatening look he may have had moot. Sheamus lifts Dolph in the corner, then slaps Dolph a bit. Dolph fires out of the corner with right hands!! Sheamus shoves him aside and Dolph runs right into a Brogue Kick!

-Commercial Break-

Harper is here, and he’s not alone!!! Rowan comes out with him. We get a recap of Thursday night on Smackdown where Rowan helped Harper continue the damage of Fandango. Tonight, Fandango gets an opportunity for revenge.

Cena says it sounds like there are actually John Cena fans tonight. He mentions the haters, then says that regardless of who we like and don’t like, there’s one thing that all of us can appreciate, and he holds up the US Title. It is what it says it is. Thank you for that, John. A “HUGE ESSAY” chant is started. Cena gets his Obama Speech voice on for a bit and claims he’s been renewed with passion and purpose, and we the people have given the championship a life of its own. Cena brings up Triple H and how that trophy – the WWE Title – is so guarded and protected and there’s so much drama that circles that trophy, but not “this.” This is what he believes in and it is what the USA is all about. IT is a symbol of excellence, of sportsmanship, and of opportunity. Every week, he gives an opportunity to anyone brave enough. Stardust, Barrett, Kane, Zayn, he’s taken em all on. Everybody’s got a chance.

There’s one man who doesn’t have a chance, though…Rusev. This Sunday at Payback, he faces Rusev in an I Quit match. Simple fact: Cena Never Gives Up. Last week Rusev said himself that he was going to confront Cena to tell us exactly how he will make Cena quit. Cena has been advised to cancel the open challenge, but h thinks that’s a bad idea. He wants to use democracy and gives us a vote. He asks if the crowd wants a US Title match. Obviously, they do. So who is it gonna be….

It’s Adrian Neville, and he is announced both as “The Man that Gravity Forgot” and “The New Sensation.”

Match 4: United States Championship Match

Rusev stomps the back and locks in The Accolade to John Cena!!!

Kane grabs the vest of Reigns and sends him into the barricade, the apron, the barricade, the apron, then finally the steps. Reigns tumbles over in front of the announce table. Big boot to Kane. He stares down the announce table, then grabs the cover and tosses it off. Kane tosses the monitors – which, by the way, seems to be one of the few things the WWE holds onto from the past. Reigns attacks. He sends Kane into the apron, then reverses a clothesline. Kane sends Reigns into the steps, but Reigns hops over the steps, turns, and flies off the steps for a Superman Punch only for Kane to goozle him!! Reigns is able to break it though and hits a Superman punch! Spear to Kane OVER THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! Reigns heads to the top of the announce table. He stands, and screams, vibrating the air as it buzzes through the arena, making panties wet everywhere.

We get a recap of last week when Tamina made her return to RAW to be Naomi’s bodyguard. Naomi gets a mini promo, stressing the family aspect of her pairing with Tamina.

Match 5: Brie Bella vs Naomi
Lockup, and Tamina sends Brie into the corner. Brie ducks under and hits some rights, but Tamina pushes her away. Brie attacks again, but Tamina pushes once more. Kick to the gut. I’m just not sold on Tamina. I didn’t miss her, and don’t see the need for her here.

Axel is in the middle of the ring after a break, and he’s ready for action, brother. So apparently, Sandow and Axel had a bit of an interaction before RAW where Axel did an impression of Hogan while Sandow did an impression of Randy Savage.

Pomp and Circumstance hits, and here is Macho Mandow while JBL claims that Savage is rolling in his grave. JBL buries this calling it #MACHOMANCOW

Match 6: Macho Mandow vs Axelmania
Right hands from Axel. Whip to the ropes. Sandow knocks Axel down with a right. Another. Body slam. Sandow points to the corner. He calls for the elbow. This is interrupted by The Ascension

“You think this is entertaining? These two delusional idiots imitating two old relics from the past in a desparate attempt to jumpstart their pathetic careers.”

“Dressing like a legend doesn’t make you a legend. There’s a difference between being laughed at and being laughed with.”

“There’s a new age in the WWE. This is the dawning of the Age of Total Destruction. We are the Ascension.”

Conor runs into the ring and gets tossed right out. Victo attacks, but Sandow with right hands and a body slam. He looks towards Axel and goads him into Hulking Up! Leg drop from Axel! Sandow goes up top, looking for a possible elbow drop. Conor pulls Victor out of the way, though.

Does Sandow reaaaalllly need this? No. The answer is no.
Rating: NR

After the match, Sandow extends his hand out for Axel to shake. He needs a little goading from the crowd, but finally locks the hands, and we’ve got the SEGA POWERS!

We get a Tough Enough package again, and is that the lovely Scarlett Bourdeaux?! IT IS!! GET EM GIRL!

Daniel Bryan is here, and there’s this little knot in my stomach…

Bryan looks somewhat sad. He says he’s had a lot of down time and he hasn’t done so well with that. He needs to be somewhere with energy. Bryan needed to be standing back there behind the curtain, waiting for his music to hit, so he could come out and be a part of a reaction like this crowd’s. Bryan says for years, we have been treating him way better than anyone in the back has ever treated him. Almost a year ago, he was stripped of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Not just because of him, but he also felt like he left us down. We were the reason he got that opportunity. We gave that to him. The hard thing for him to admit, even as we Yes right now, is that Stephanie was right to do it. No one knew how long Bryan would be out, he was hurt, and he couldn’t defend the title, and if we deserve anything, we deserve a fighting champion (which is why we got Brock Lesnar, you see).

Bryan asked to come out tonight for the same reason. NO chants. Bryan had an MRI last week and they don’t know how long he’ll be out. They said maybe weeks, maybe months. They said Bryan may not ever be able to wrestle again. But….despite the uncertainty in his career, that makes him know for a fact what needs to happen with the Intercontinental Championship. We deserve to have WWE Superstars fighting for the title. We deserve Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose fighting for the Championship. The Intercontinental Championship should not be sitting on a physical therapist’s chair, it deserves to be in this ring, and in this ring is where he will leave it. Tonight, he officially relinquishes his Intercontinental Championship.

THANK YOU DANIEL chant.

He, instead, thanks us. He lays the title down on the mat, and the mic next to it. Bryan exits the ring and heads up the ramp, sadly. Bryan reaches the top of the ramp and turns back towards the crowd. YES Chant started by Bryan.

Damnit Bryan, why?!

Back to the show, and JBL and Cole are talking about Bryan. Booker brings up Bryan not knowing about his future and how scary that is. We get back to the show, and New Day is here. Big E speaks to the crowd before coming out, and it’s wonderful.

Woods says not to embrace the negativity. Bryan is gone, so rejoice in the positivity. Boom Shakalaka, it’s a New Day! New Day knows they aren’t like those other towns, so let’s do this…NEW DAY ROCKS! Cincinatti says Sucks, as Kofi says one day they’ll get the chant right. Kofi says The New Day is all about giving chances, especially when it comes to those that we care about. Big E here, says everyone…except for Pete Rose. He does NOT deserve a second chance. Kofi wants to know about Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. They failed, but at Payback, The New Day will give them a chance to get the tag team titles in a 2 out of 3 falls match. They also want to give everyone here a chance to redeem themselves. On the count of three, NEW DAY ROCKS…..nope, not so much.

Cesaro’s siren hits, and here is Kidd and Cesaro.

Match 7: Big E vs Cesaro
Lockup is short lived and Big E hits a knee. Right hands and a side headlock by Big E. Whip to Cesaro who hops over then catches Big E while he tries to Leap Frog. WOW. Oh My God, Wow! Slam down to Big E and a stomp to the chest. Uppercut from Cesaro. Whip to Cesaro, but he hops over th ropes and kicks Big E from the apron. Top rope from Cesaro and a crossbody. Pin for 1…2..NO! Cesaro with kicks in the corner to the tune of NEW! DAY SUCKS! haha. Nice! Cesaro with a whip to Big E, sending him over the top rope to the outside.

Back, after a break, and Big E has an abdominal stretch on Cesaro. Cesaro is able to toss Big E aside! He hits a right and left and some more, but Big E with a belly to belly, planting Cesaro down. Big E hits the ropes, the opposite side, looks for a Splash, but Cesaro moves! Big E with another slam to Cesaro and a pin for 1…2..NO! Big E sends Cesaro in the corner. Hits a splash. Clothesline to Cesaro! Pin for 1…2..NO! Big E waits for Cesaro, grabs the head. Uppercut from Cesaro. Cesaro hops off the 2nd broke with a Springboard Spinning Uppercut to Big E! Wow. German from Cesaro! One more! He turns and goes for a Northern Lights, but can’t get the first one. Cesaro locks the hold, pops the hips, and tosses Big E over his head! Damn, that could have went pretty bad! Uppercut in the corner. Another! Spinebuster to Big E, and he locks the legs, looking for the swing! Woods on the apron to prevent the Swing! Kidd pulls

Woods down and hops on the apron to hit a kick off the apron! Kofi attacks, but Cesaro is able to get the win anyway with a pin for 1…2…3!!!
Official Result:
Cesaro continues to grab that brass ring, brah
Rating: **1/2

We get an official announcement of The Ascension vs Axelmania and Macho Mandow for the Pre-Show this Sunday.

Breaking news, there has been a second PPV added for the Month of May, and it’s exclusive to the WWE Network, and it brings back….The Elimination Chamber. Dafuq? Sunday, May 31st, The Elimination Chamber returns, exclusively on the WWE Network.

Promo from PrimeTime Players who are all DXed out. Young has a blonde wig. Young attempts to sing Billy Guns music, but Titus cuts him off. They introduce themselves ala Road Dogg. Young says if we’re not down with that, they’ve got two words. Titus corrects him: One line, Three words – MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Certainly not as good as they usually are.

I enjoy this:

Bray Wyatt’s music cuts them off. Has there always been a pregnant belly being rubbed in that entrance video?

Wyatt is in the middle of the ring with a mic. He feels sorry for all of us. He wishes he could just reach out and fix everything. He wishes he could wake us up from this nightmare, but he can’t. Fear is all around us. Fear is all around us. It has engulfed this world like a wildfire, and if we need proof, it’s not too hard to find. Just open up a newspaper, or turn on your television set, and you will see fear being sold to us left and right. Fear of a crumbling economy that will never stop, a global conflict, a dying earth – and yet, there are still those that refuse to accept this true power of fear. We have adopted the man’s idea that if we work hard enough, we can overcome all the odds. Ryback must be such an inspiration to each and every one of us.

Here’s a guy who shatters his ankle into a million peices. The doctor comes to him and says “I’m afraid to tell you this, but I don’t think you’ll ever be able to compete again.” But Ryback overcomes all the odds, and here he is today doing what he loves once again. My Hero. But then, along came the spider (Careful, R-Truth). Wyatt understands Ryback has overcome all the odds, but he hasn’t seen anything like Wyatt before. He’s never seen nothing like the new face of fear before. Wyatt is sure Ryback is asking “Why Me?” The answer is simple…he was in Wyatt’s way. Kids, want to hear something your parents will never tell you? These nightmares, they won’t stop, and sometimes, the bad guy just wins.

Behold….The New Face of Fear.

Oh, but Ryback is here! Spinebuster to Wyatt! Clothesline to Wyatt! Wyatt rolls to the outside while Ryback chants FEED ME MORE!

Don’t forget my podcast immediately after Raw, Homies! Just click these here letters!
