411’s LIVE WWE Raw Report 7.27.15

* Welcome.

Daddy’s home!

IN case you didn’t check it out yet, I’m in this past week’s Fact or Fiction with the oh so loveable Justin Watry. Be sure to check it out.

Sorry about last week, guys! I got called into work last minute and the tips at the bar are just a tad bit higher than the payrate at 411, guys…just a tad. I want to thank Larry for covering, and you guys for keeping him company. While I was off, I made a few drinks named after the writers of the site, so be sure to check those out throughout the show, and feel free to make up some of your own! The first one?

Anyway, let’s get to RAW!

From your favorite Stalker Dickhead, let’s….RAW!!!!

We start the show with a recap of the Taker v Brock saga, complete with clips from Mania XXX. Afterwards, we’re joined in the ring by The Authority, and YOUR World Heavyweight Champion! Triple H welcomes us to RAW. He says he has a massive announcement for tonight, and brings up Summerslam. He calls it bigger than ever, and a few other hyperbole.

Triple H announces that Summerslam will be….4 hours!

Stephanie on the mic, and she says that the main event is 17 months in the making, and it will be The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar. Triple H calls tonight epic as well, because tonight, we’ll get RAW for FIVE HOURS!!!!

Just kidding. He announces Big Show vs Dean Ambrose – and apparently this is a first. We then get Paige vs Sasha Banks announced. Triple H says, also tonight, for the first time ever, Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton. Steph says Alicia Fox and Nikki will be taking on Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

They are announcing these things like they’re extravagent…

Seth finally on the mic and says he wants to talk about firsts as well, considering he was the first to cash in at Mania where he defeated Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the same night. Seth then brings up his most recent victory against Brock. Seth says for the first time ever, he needs every one of us to stand up and admit that he may go down as one of – if not the – greatest champions of all time.

This calls out…John Cena. He heads to the ring with a smile, cuz you know…he’s happy. He doesn’t mean to interrupt The Authority, but he does want to interrupt Seth – because he’s an arrogant Jackass. Cena doesn’t like his proclamation of being the greatest ever. In fact, he disagrees. He thinks Seth is a joke, and on a night like tonight, we need to find out who is telling the truth. He doesn’t want Seth to do a damned thing about it, because last week he ran like a coward. He wants to, instead, talk to The Authority. Cena brings up what’s best for business, so how about tonight we get…Seth Rollins vs John Cena – WWE Heavyweight Title on the line.

-_-

Seth tells Cena to do everyone a favor and shut the hell up. Seth brings up the US Title, and Cena must earn his opportunities. Steph says that they should put this to the people. Do they want to see Cena vs Rollins for the title? Apparently they do. Steph does YES along with the crowd. Steph then says…

NOOOOOOO!!!!

haha. Steph is saying no to everyone all around the world. Cena must earn it. Triple H gets that, but he also wants to speak for everyone when he says that no one wants to see the title defended on RAW. Triple H says that rather than the big belt be on the line, tonight will be Cena vs Seth for the US Title. Because THAT’s what’s best for business.

Cole says this doesn’t seem fair, and I’m not sure how that is true. They sell Orton vs Owens as a huge first…technically, Owens vs anyone is a first with the exception of like three people so….

Match 1: The Big Show vs Dean Ambrose

Big Show to the outside now. He hits a spear to Ambrose! Ambrose struggles to stand. Ref at 4. Ambrose rushes in the ring at 9! Big Show can’t believe it. Superheroes, heros that wine and dine with kings and queens…nice little Dusty nod. Nobody wants to talk about the unknown. He tells the universe to fear not, for he will rescue us. There is nothing Neville can do to stop him. Oh, Cody….

THIS is a shade of what Paige and banks can do, but still far better than anything we’ve seen in a long, long time. There’s almost a completely different FLOW with these girls, and few loud spots aside, this is a good sign of at least the wrestling side of this “revolution.”

Sasha Banks knees Paige out of the ring to celebrate.

Backstage, Renee Young is about to conduct an interview, but it must have been Hulk Hogan, because I get cut to a commercial almost immediately.

The 411 Bar Menu

The Watry: It’s actually just room temperature water with bitters. And is available at more than one bar.

We’re back to the show, and Rusev is here with his Ravishing American. They’re in the middle of the ring. Rusev speaks in what I assume to be Bulgarian, and she is super smitten. Ha! Rusev just says that he is smitten for the woman that healed his soul. She is always hot and obedient. Tonight, he wants to show us how to treat a special woman. He has a gift for Summer. In comes a box, and Rusev got Summer a puppy. Rusev says he has an ugly face and skinny legs. He’s neutered, as well, so he’s thinking they should call him Dog Ziggler. Rusev has another gift for her. Summer opens the box, and it’s a….a fish without a head. haha

Rusev: “It’s a fish!”

Rusev wants to name this cold fish….Lana.

SHUTTUP!!!

It’s Lana in a ponytail! Lana says that week after week, Rusev has tried to embarrass her and humiliate her but he does not succeed because everyone here can see right through Rusev. Look at Summer, Rusev dresses just like Lana, and kisses her while looking at Lana. He is pitiful, just like his defeat since he hooked up with this wannabe Lana. Summer on the mic, and says after all the years Rusev has cuddled with the dead fish, now he knows what it’s like to cuddle up with THIS. Summer does a little shimmy. Lana kicks the leg of Summer and kicks off her shoes. She grabs the arm of Summer and shoves Summer’s face into the fish. Summer cowers away in the corner, screaming. She slaps Rusev, then heads out of the ring with a smile. Rusev is so angry, he throws a fish. Summer cries annoyingly in the corner. She feigns puking, and it’s glorious. She throws a hell of a fit.

Weird segment. Seems like they did it just for the halibut…

Remember that time Paige mounted Sasha Banks?

So, we’re back and Cole wants to take us back to last week on RAW. This should give me enough time to grab a Mountain Dew and read War and Peace.

The New Day dance ringside for no reason other than positivity.

We are back. The Wyatts are here. Bray is not a betting man, but he would put money on the fact that every single one of us has a family. He wants to know if we love said family, if we care for them and hug them daily, telling them the world they live in is a wonderful paradise? Do you promise that so long as we’re together, everything will be alright? He talks about a hard pill to swallow called truth. He says all you’ll ever have to do to find it, though, is look out your front door. It’s everywhere. The ones that are sent to protect you are those you should fear the most. The sooner you’re able to relize it, the sooner you can be transcendant. The sooner you can be set free. Of course, Freedom comes at a hefty price. He used to have this pet, and he wasn’t the most charming one to look at. He wanted to know what was through the woods. One day, he set his pet free. It wasn’t long that said pet came right back. Something was differnet, though. He had a scar from his eye to his knows and Wyatt knew then and there that his pet has changed. He never ran away again, and he never left Wyatt’s side. Like he said, he was different – he learned that the world has teeth. He learned that you gotta get them, before they get you.

Wyatt turns to Harper. He was a damaged man, and he did what he had to do to fix Harper, just like one would fix a broken toe. He knew one day, he would have to set him free to learn his own truth. Don’t be afraid, tell your piece, he says to Harper.

Harper on the mic. He says that there was a time in life where he didn’t understand why a man like him existed, what his purpose was, or why he was here. But his family found him. Wyatt showed Harper the truth, and the truth is that this is all of our fault. Each of us has made him what he is. We shunned him. We created him. Wyatt saved him. Wyatt made Harper stronger than ever. Be prepared for the mud, he says. He tells Bray, “My life for you.”

It always comes back to family. Harper would go through hell and back for Wyatt – he already has. Roman Reigns, he tried to warn him. This was only the beginning. Wyatt is not a liar. Reigns claims that Ambrose is his brother, and Reigns cares for him, but if he truly cared for Dean, he would tell Ambrose that he is in danger, and that Ambrose should turn his back and walk away, never looking back again. This is Reigns’ burden to bear, and his hill to die on. Wyatt will seal his fate. Reigns, they’re here.

Follow dem buzzards.

Match 5: Charlotte and Becky Lynch vs
