* Welcome.

Hope everyone had a Happy Fourth of July! I bartended a bad ass private party with a bad ass pool and jacuzzi, drinking some bad ass self-made drinks! Also, stuff blew up – so, Murica, right? Anyways, WRESTLING!

RAW!
IS!
SOMETHINGIMNOTSUREIUNDERSTANDLOVINGANYMOREBUTSTILLDO!!

We start the show with a recap of last week where Seth Rollins recapped the week before, then gave his crew some gifts.

Fast forward to present time, LIVE in Chicago, and not a Straight Edger in sight. Brock Lesnar is here, though, and he doesn’t look too happy at all. Fresh off his win from Japan, Brock is ready to have someone else do his talking. That someone else?

PAUL
HEYMAN

According to Heyman, it has come to his client’ attention that Seth Rollins and his little merry men think that Brock is still in Japan. This goes to show that you can put a title on anyone, and at the end of the day there is still some idiot that lucks his way into the championship. He wants to spell this out for Rollins – he will learn the hardway that Brock Lesnar is the lord, and his client is not a god of love or family or charity, he is a god of violent retribution. Heyman assures you that this is the sword that shall pierce Seth Rollins’ shield.

Heyman wants to look at history for a moment, such as when he took the streak away from The Undertaker. Brock had no respect for The Undertaker, but he didn’t disrespect him either. He conquered. When Lesnar took Cena to Suplex City, Brock Lesnar didn’t have respect for Cena, but didn’t disrespect John Cena either. Brock wanted the championship and took what was his. When he showed Reigns what a savage beating truly is, Brock didn’t respect Reigns, but didn’t disrespect him either. Now….Seth Rollins….Heyman’s client not only not respects him, but also vehemently disrespects him because Rollins has broken the 11th commandment. Thou Shall Not Provoke Brock Lesnar. Rollins has intentionally provoked Brock three times, including the most recent time when they all piled on the beast who is still breathing, frothy at the mouth, and salivating for revenge against Seth Rollins.

Heyman knows his job; he’s supposed to sell us on the fact that at Battleground, Brock Lesnar will get his hands on Seth Rollins and will take the Championship back. But, ladies and gents, he assures us that the title match take place in St. Louis, but the beatings and suplexes begin….tonight. Brock has heard that Rollins will be here tonight, and since he’ll be here tonight, Brock isn’t going anywhere this evening. Someone better tell the champ that waiting for him is a Brock Lesnar, ready to eat his face off.

If you asked for photoshopped pictures of Kane in Hawaii, you got em! No, seriously, they’re John Cena – worthy Photoshop jobs. Why not really send his ass to Hawaii?

Even better, we get an animated Road Trip of J&J, complete with heads out of the car.

Guh…

The Big Show is here. Oh joy.

The match is set for Show vs Ryback, but Miz is here ringside, in a director’s chair, with a mic in hand. This can’t end well. Hell, it hasn’t started well.

We return to – again – horribly photoshopped photos of Kane in Hawaii. This is seriously the worst.

Earlier today, J&J were at Wrigley Field. They talk some baseball then call it the biggest dump they’ve ever seen in their lives. Mercury bets the car is worth more than the field itself.

Backstage, Triple H is on the phone. Seth and J&J head in. Triple H asks how they feel about the car, then sends them outside. Triple H wants to talk to Seth. He wants to know what Seth plans on doing with Brock. Seth says that he wanted to ask Trips for some advice. H’s advice would be for Seth to walk out of Battleground with the title. Seth claims that he has Battleground in the bag, he’s talking about tonight. H says that conventional wisdom dictates that Seth stays away from Brock and let Brock make a mistake. Then again, that’s not how Brock operates. What Seth needs to do is what no one will expect. Heyman gave him the template. what did Heyman say? The 11th commandment. Seth repeats it, then realizes what H wants Seth to do….call out Brock Lesnar. The last thing anyone would ever expect Seth to do, right now, while he’s so emotional. Show Brock what fear is all about. H gets all bonerific while Seth shoulds out he’s going to call out Brock. H says to “Show him” and I can’t tell whether he’s serious, or six seconds away from laughing his ass off…

Back to the show, and Rusev is in the middle of the ring with Summer Rae. USA chant starts. Rusev brings up Summer and says that he was so inspired by Summer’s ability to openly apologize, that he’s out here to do the same. He is about to apologize. WE WANT LANA chant. He will apologize for all of us stupid American for taking her and loving her like she never did anything wrong. He wants to apologize to Ziggler as well for putting himself so low as him. Dolph is clearly not on Rusev’s integrity level, aggression, or strength. Rusev is better looking and more passionate. Summer looks befuddled. She wants the D Mic. She says that we should be showing Rusev the respect he deserves. Rusev says not to waste her precious words. He kisses her hand, then stares her in the eyes.

Ziggler’s music hits. Ziggler says that Rusev’s reality is so distorted. He asks if Rusev’s brain is broken, too. He says every opportunity that Rusev has gained in the WWE is due to one person…LANA. After that horribly depressing that saw Lana oh so sad, something inspirational is needed. Thankfully, we have Bo Dallas in action right now!

He says that what we just saw was a horrible thing. Horrible! It just goes to show that bad things happen to bad people and good things happen to good people. Good people like him. All you have to do is Bo-Lieve! His opponent brings about a different type of positivity…

Backstage, Seth Rollins is walknig with J&J, all three looking serious and ready. Rollins has stick in hand. Forgive me for not know just what kind of stick that is.

Recap of Rusev’s Crutch attack. We get footage of Dolph being put into the ambulance. Lana joins him in the back of the truck.

Seth Rollins heads out. He calls out J&J, who roll out in their caddy. It has camoflauge racing strips and a chrome J&J on the back. It looks deliciously tacky. Mercury opens the trunk and takes out two of their own beefy sticks. Now, all three men are carrying weapons.

Upon further evaluation, I see that the “stick” they are holding is an axe handle without the axe. Well that’s just…odd.

Anyway, Seth says that Steph and H know what we all need to understand; he is the man and the future of the WWE. He’s been proving it over and over again. The latest time being two weeks ago when he reunited The Authority and they left the beast Brock Lesnar lying in the center of the ring like a wimpering dog. Brock Lesnar is yesterday’s news, and he cannot hang with a thinking man’s champion. We get the exact same footage from the top of the show right now.

Seth yells that he is the architect, the man that destroyed The Shield, reunited The Authority, at Mania he cashed in his contract and BEAT Brock Lesnar to become the champ. There is no one else on planet earth who can beat Brock Lesnar. At Battleground, he’s walking in with the title and walknig out with it. Earlier tonight, Heyman mentioned the 11th Commandment, not provoking The Beast. He then says that here he is and he is wondering if Brock is the beast that everyone says he is, or is he just Paul Heyman’s bitch? Seth stands with his arms outstretched, and smiles. J&J wonder where Brock is…

And here he is.

Brock heads out, not very happy. Seth stands in the ring, smiling, twirling his stick. Brock slowly makes his way to the ring. Brock smirks. He backs away from the ring, making his way, instead, towards the car. Brock looks towards Heyman and asks for something. Heyman brings him a box. Heyman opens up, and inside are a few extinguishers, and an axe. See guys, THIS is what an axe looks like. He pulls out another. Seth and J&J still think he’s coming to the ring, but Brock looks towards the car. He drops one axe, then backs into the car.

BROCK CHOPPEE THE CADDY!!!

Brock busts out a window, and puts a hole into the side of the car! He beats down on the car and smiles sadistically! He stabs the car repeatedly, chopping at it Brock heads towards the Trunk of the car and drops the axe a few more times. He hits a final swing and lets it stick into the car. Brock opens the driver’s side back door and breaks it off the hinges! He then tosses it down, and finally across the stage! J&J finally decide to defend their car, and run down to attack! Mercury is sent to the ground. Brock grabs Noble! Kimura!! HE BREAKS THE ARM!!! Brock grabs Mercury as the crowd chants SUPLEX!!!

SUPLEX INTO THE WINDSHIELD!!!!!

Seth is in the ring. Brock removes his shirt and heads to the ring. He hops over the ropes and dives for Seth, but Seth leaves the ring and heads through the crowd!! Brock follows, but Seth is faster and heads up the steps and out of the arena! Brock heads back to the ring and grabs the WWE Title! He smirks and drops the belt then leaves the ring. Brock grabs one of the axe handles and stabs the broken window of the car.

Brock stands atop the car as we get replays of Brock’s destruction.

The New Day has added the the dance to “Watch Me” into their intro, complete with whip and Nae Nae.

Titus having his moment on commentary was pretty great.

We return to RAW to see the big reveal of WWE 2k16. A man is digging a hole in the middle of a field of dead grass. In it is the old WWF World Title, and we pan out a bit to see that the man is Austin. The cover is shown and Cole idiotically claims that Austin is back but only for the cover, but he’s ready to raise some hell.

Shut up, Cole.

Cena wants to thank the crowd for the serenade. They shout JOHN CENA SUCKS, and thinks that the crowd is mad because Kevin Owens lost the NXT Championship. No, Cena, they don’t like you because of YOU, not because of someone else. Geez…

Cena says that there WILL be a Championship match on RAW tonight. He’s had a lot of wonderful moments in this very building, and he wants another one tonight. He tells whoever steps through the curtain to bring their A-game. He says Chicago is the place to be, Cena is the man to beat, and the US Open Challenge starts….

Kevin Owens is here! He doesn’t seem too happy. Cena runs the ropes, so you know it’s real.

Owens says every week is the same thing, every week the worst part of RAW is when Cena comes out and spews the same garbage over and over. He’s so sick of it. It ends tonight. Cena’s time is officially up because he no longer just wants the US TItle, he needs it. He needs to take it from Cena so that we never have to hear any of this stupid crap come out of his mouth ever again. Owens was fine with waiting for Battleground, but now that he doesn’t have the NXT Title, he’s taking the US Title from Cena right here and right now.

We have a ref.

Cena holds the title up. Lillian enters to announce.

Before the match can start, Cesaro is here!!!

He comes out and says no one wants to see Owens stand here and whine about losing the NXT Title. If he needs to do anything, Owens needs to step aside because if anyone deserves the opportunity for the US Title it’s him. He had Cena ready to give up and tap out and the only reason he is not standing here as the US Champ is Owens, because Owens was jealous that Cesaro was able to do what Owens couldn’t do and that’s to beat Cena for the US Title. Cesaro says that if owens doesn’t get out of the ring, he won’t just have a problem with Cena, he’ll have a problem with Cesaro as well. Owens backs up a bit, then steps forward, then exits the ring. Cesaro turns to ready himself for the match as Owens heads up the ramp.

Lillian makes her announcements.
