* Highlights from the Authority’s return on Raw.

* Edge and Christian are out to kick off the show. Cole informs us, in case you missed main event, that Edge and Christian have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against WWE following what happened on Raw. Edge says he’s been thinking about what happened at Raw, and he feels like it’s his fault and he’s sorry. But if there is something they could do to Rollins to make it right they would, but they can’t. Edge then says Rollins has a giant target on his back and a “John Cena sized missile” is aimed right at it. Christian says the show must go on, and they have an amazing Smackdown planned. Edge says that the Authority can’t do anything about it.

We then see a limo arrive and Noble and Mercury get out of it. We get a dog shit joke; the driver stepped in some, that’s Vince McMahon comedy you see. Rollins’ music hits, and his minions come out to the ring. Edge makes fun of them being short, and Christian calls them the geek squad. Noble and Mercury have a prepared statement from the Authority. Mercury reads it, it says that the Authority had nothing to do with the attack on Edge and Christian on Raw, and that Rollins is solely responsible. They apologize to Edge and Christian and honor their right to host Smackdown, but J&J Security will monitor them and report back to the home office. Edge says they are still in control and will make the matches and decide to make J&J Security vs. Ryback. Edge then says he was kidding, but them makes Ryback vs. Big Show. Christian then one ups him and makes Rusev will face Roman Reigns. Noble says he is taking notes and that this will go in their permanent files. Edge says he doesn’t work here, they are in control and tonight this is their show. Christian makes fun of them and says the show starts now.

Bray Wyatt vs. Erick Rowan: And here we go. Wyatt demands that Rowan lay down, because they are not meant to fight. Rowan refuses and Wyatt slaps him and then attacks. Rowan shoves him away and levels him with a clothesline. He slams Wyatt to the corner a few times and then misses a charge and posts himself, rolling to the floor. Wyatt then follows him out and slams him into the post again. Wyatt lays Rowan on the apron, against the post, and delivers repeated strikes. Head butts follow, and then Wyatt applies a chinlock. Rowan powers out, and then hits a clothesline. To the corner, head butts follow. Corner splash follows that and then another. A big shoulder block levels Wyatt, but then Wyatt begs off. Rowan goes to pick him up and says he is sorry, but then Wyatt hits Sister Abigail and that is all.

* Wyatt cuts a promo about giving his own son, and tells Ambrose if he can do that to someone he saved and loved, what will he be willing to do to Ambrose. It’s been fun Dean, but all good things must come to an end, and their story ends when Ambrose is laying in the back of an ambulance. Follow the buzzards.

* Edge and Christian are back stage and Mercury and Noble interrupt the five-second pose and then do it themselves. They are very proud of themselves.

Goldust, Stardust, and Adam Rose vs. The Usos and R-Truth: Truth and Rose to begin. After some crowd play, Truth with a roll up for 2. Truth works the arm, tag to Jey, off the ropes and Stardust low bridges him and Jey falls to the floor as we head to a commercial…

Back from commercial as Goldust works over Jey with the front facelock. Jey with rights to escape, to the corner and a back elbow to Goldust. Jey then runs into the snap slam and a cover gets 2. Stardust tags in and works over Jey in the corner. Stardust then stomps away at the legs of Jey, tag back to Rose and he delivers rights to Jey. Knee drop follow and he then chokes out Jey in the ropes. Jey back with a right, another and then runs into a back elbow. Tag to Goldust, who beats Jey down more. Goldust cuts off the tag, but Jey takes out Stardust and Rose and then tosses Goldust to the floor. He then gets the tag to Jimmy, who runs wild on Rose with clotheslines and superkicks. Samoan drop follows and then the Samoan Clambake. Truth in and helps take out Goldust and then hits a dive onto Goldust. Stardust with the falling star onto Truth to wipe him out. Rose rolls up Jimmy for 2. he then eats a superkick, tag to Jey, top rope splash connects and that is all.

* The Rosebuds then try to attack post match and enjoy a superkick party. The Usos and Truth dance and celebrate.

* We get highlights from the Daniel Bryan announcement on Raw.

Ryback vs. Big Show: Lock up to begin, and Show shoves Ryback down. Ryback then powers him to the corner, delivers shoulder blocks but Show then whips him to the corner and clotheslines him to the floor. Ryback on the apron and stuns Show off the ropes. Ryback back in, boots to Show and then off the second rope with the axe handle. He does it again and Show is down. Ryback looks for the clothesline, charges and Show bails to the floor as we head to a commercial…

Back from commercial as Show is in control with clubbing shots on Ryback. Ryback tries to battle back, takes Show to the corner and then runs into a big boot. A clothesline from Show follows, and Ryback is down. Show then slams Ryback’s leg off of the post. Show continues to control and work the leg with elbow drops. Show pulls down the kneepad and continues to attack as commentary sells Ryback’s story from Raw and his issues he has had with the leg. Slam by Show follows, and then he continues to attack the leg of Ryback. Show works a variation of the calf slicer, but Ryback gets the ropes. Show is frustrated, and then slams Ryback again, but this time into the ropes to hurt the leg. Ryback gets to his feet, Show charges but Ryback low bridges him and Show falls to the floor. The ref counts on Show as Ryback gets to his feet. Show back in, shoulder block by Ryback. Another and then hits the Thesz press and follows with the running splash. Ryback to the second rope and goes for the splash but Show goozles him. Chokeslam countered and Ryback hits a spinebuster. Ryback looks for the clothesline, but the Russian flag drops and Rusev makes his way out. This distracts Ryback, who stands on the apron. Show then hits the KO shot, sending Ryback to the floor for the countout…

* Ryback manages to roll back into the ring post countout, but Show exits and celebrates. Rusev then hits the ring stomps on Ryback’s back and looks to apply the accolade, but Ryback battles back and sends Rusev to the floor with a clothesline.

* Mini-box promo from Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. They are happy the Authority is back and want a shot at the tag team titles.

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd w/Natalya vs. Los Matadores w/Torito: Kidd and a Matadore to begin. Lock up, off the ropes and a blind tag by the Matadores and they hits some double team moves on Kidd ending with a neck breaker and cover for 2. Kidd then gets dropkicked to the floor, one of the Matadores tries a suicide dive but leaps into an uppercut from Cesaro for his troubles. Cesaro and Kidd work the leg of the Matadore, Kidd tags back in and beats him down in the corner. Cesaro tags in, off the ropes and a double team backdrop to the Matadore and the cover gets 2. Side headlock by Cesaro, the Matadore gets to his feet and escapes. He tries for a tag but Cesaro slams him down, giant swing into a dropkick from Kidd, and Kidd covers for 2. Tag back to Cesaro, clubbing shots to the Matadore, and a quick tag back to Kidd. Boot from the Matadore, tosses Cesaro to the floor but Kidd cuts him off. Up top and leaps off but into a dropkick from the Matadore. Fresh Matadore tagged din, he runs wild on Cesaro with back elbows and then a head scissors. Chops follow, off the ropes and Cesaro counters the RANA and hoists him up allowing Kidd to hit the doomsday blockbuster for the win.

Dean Ambrose vs. Curtis Axel: Ambrose attacks before the bell and just beats the shit out of Axel on the floor. Axel tries to fight back but eats a clothesline for his troubles. Into the ring and Ambrose hits dirty deeds as the ref yells at him about the bell not ringing.

OFFICIAL RESULT: No Contest

* Ambrose gets a mic and says he hopes Wyatt is listening, because on Monday they have an ambulance match. We have an ambulance in the building and Ambrose explains to Wyatt that he will beat him down and run him over with the ambulance and such. He’ll them lock him into the ambulance, and will then take him on a trip to happy new year hell.

* Pre-taped promo from The Ascension. They say there was Hawk and Animal, then Ax and Smash, and now Konnor and Viktor. Yup.

* We see highlights from Raw.

The Ascension vs. Johnny and Jimmy Bootsentights: It’s destroy the local jobbers time, and I have no issue with this. Konnor and Victor take turns beating down Johnny in their corner, and then toss him across the ring to allow Jimmy to tag in. Fall of Man to Jimmy and that is all.

* Edge and Christian talk backstage. J&J are here, and tell them they have to go so they can prepare the office for the Authority. Edge and Christian then take Sharpies and deface the Triple H and Stephanie Muscle and Fitness cover.

Non-Title Match: Rusev © vs. Roman Reigns: Lock up to begin, they go to the corner, and Reigns escapes strikes from Rusev. They lock up again, to the corner and Rusev connects with rights and kicks. Reigns then gets pissed and slams Rusev to the corner and delivers rights of his own. Amateur throw by Rusev, taking Reigns down and keeping him there. Reigns tries to fight up, elbows out and then connects with the big right. He then clotheslines Rusev to the floor and we head to a commercial…

Back from commercial as Rusev is working a front facelock. Reigns powers him to the corner, shoulder blocks follow but Rusev with clubbing shots to the back to stop that. Rusev sends Reigns to the apron, but Reigns stuns Rusev off the ropes. Back in, Reigns charges Rusev, but Rusev sidesteps him and Reigns posts himself. Rusev hits a German suplex and then an overhead throw and gets a cover for 2. Rusev works a bear hug, Reigns tries to escape, almost does, but Rusev slams him down and then lays the boots to him. Rusev works a chinlock for a while, Reigns gets to his feet and lands some elbows and a right. But Rusev picks him up and hits the sack of shot slam and covers for 2. Rusev grabs the rest hold, because we have time to kill and allows Reigns to lay there for a while. Reigns then gets to his feet, eats a knee and to the corner they go and Rusev with a kick to the gut. Reigns fights and stops being slammed to the buckle, they trade shots and Rusev tosses Reigns to the floor. Reigns fires up and is back in, rights follow, but Rusev tosses him to the floor. Reigns back in again with rights, clothesline follows and Rusev is down. Rights by Reigns, corner clothesline follows and then a roll up by Reigns gets 2. Rusev counters the Samoan drop, but Reigns with the belly to back suplex and the cover gets 2. Reigns backs off and sets, looks for the Superman shot but Rusev hits the dropkick and covers for 2. Rusev now sets and goes for the superkick, stopped and then Reigns hits the Superman punch, sending Rusev to the floor. Reigns follows and tries to get Rusev in the ring, and here comes Big Show. Reigns goes after him and hits the Superman punch. Reigns back in, Superkick by Rusev and the cover gets a close 2. Rusev to his feet, fires himself up and misses the superkick, SPEAR by Reigns but Big Show breaks it up for the DQ…

* Show tosses Reigns around the ringside area, and yells at the fans a bit. Show tosses Reigns into the barricade and then hits a spear. Show looks to dismantle the announce table, because courtesy and all, and then turns his attention back to Reigns. Reigns escapes the chokeslam and slams Show into the table. Reigns then hits the running dropkick and then sends Show over the announce table. Reigns gets revenge from Raw by toppling the table on top of Show.
