Welcome to 411’s WWE Smackdown Report 11.07.14

* The show was recapped off of an international feed (because I had another show to recap tonight during the same time), so some segments may be out of order from the regular US version.

* We are not messing around this week, right to the ring and the tag team title steel cage match.

* We get highlights from Raw, featuring Vince McMahon’s return and the drama surrounding the Authority.

* Promo time for Kane now. Kane says on Monday the Authority had to make a difficult decision. With Survivor Series closing in, they had to decide how to handle Randy Orton. No one can question Orton’s ability, just where his loyalties were. If they did what they did to Orton, imagine what they will do to anyone not on their side. The battle lines have been drawn, so choose wisely. As for Dolph Ziggler was offered the world, instead he chose the admiration of the fans. Ziggler thinks he can survive on Team Cena, but Kane says he has to survive against him tonight. And since there is already a cage here, lets do it in a steel cage. Kane then says that they have an open position on their team, and calls out a potential recruit. Cesaro comes out and surprised Kane. Cesaro says he can survive anything that has been thrown at him. Cesaro says if they want someone that can swing Cena like a rag doll, Cesaro is their man. Kane says he was not the man he was expecting, but if he is intent on proving himself, he can face the man he wanted to see in action, now. Ryback makes his way out.

Ryback vs. Cesaro: JIP as Ryback powers Cesaro to the corner. Shoulder blocks follow, off the ropes and a big boot by Cesaro gets 2. Forearm strikes by Cesaro connect as Kane watches on. Cesaro works a grounded headlock now. Ryback powers to his feet, snap mare by Cesaro and abasement dropkick connects. To the corner, uppercuts by Cesaro follow. A snap suplex connects for 2, and Cesaro then into another headlock. Ryback stands and slams Cesaro to the corner, does it again but Cesaro hangs on. Big boot by Cesaro connects, he heads up top and hits an elbow drop and covers for 2. Rapid-fire rights by Cesaro, Ryback counters a suplex and then knees by Cesaro, but Ryback changes into the shell shock and that is all.

* Kane claps for Ryback and heads into the ring, but Ryback leaves, because the Big Guy doesn’t give a shit.

* R-Truth does his routine in the ring as we come back from commercial.

Adam Rose w/Exotic Express vs. R-Truth: They both play to the crowd early, lock up and a side headlock by Truth. Off the ropes and a shoulder block by Truth drops Rose. Off the ropes, and Truth does a bunny hop. So the bunny hops around ringside. Rose then jumps into Truth’s arms, and Truth shoves him away and does a pelvic thrust. The bunny does the same and the Exotic Express all celebrate. Truth then rolls up Rose for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: R-Truth @ 1:25 via pin

* Post match, Rose is pissed and the bunny appears sad. Rose then shoves down the bunny, and then Rose acts all happy and the bunny gets up and tries to join the party but Rose stares him down and they leave with the bunny dancing away from them.

* Christian is introduced for the return of the Peep Show to Smackdown. Christian says that he is back; looking for “one more… episode of the Peep Show!” he discusses Vince’s return on Raw and the stipulation for the Survivor Series main event. He asks the crowd who will win, and the crowd picks Team Cena. Christian says that things are about to get chaotic, and Dean Ambrose makes his way out to the ring. We see still shots of the HIAC match between Rollins and Ambrose and Bray Wyatt’s interference. Christian introduces his guest, who apparently didn’t want to wait for an introduction. Christian says he hasn’t seen Ambrose since his days with the Shield, but wants to know what it’s like being Dean Ambrose. Ambrose says he has no friends and an enemy around every corner, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Talk turns to Wyatt, and Ambrose doesn’t know why Wyatt did what he did. Usually you do something like this when you ant something, but Ambrose doesn’t have anything. Wyatt likes to play mind games and preys on the weak, but Ambrose says his mind is a dangerous place. Wyatt doesn’t know him, and he can play games too. Ambrose does this all because it is fun, he gets a sick thrill out of it all and he’s not afraid of Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt’s music hits, and he comes out with his smoking lantern. He sits in his chair on the stage, and says that Ambrose says he has nothing to fear. Wyatt says he feels this way because he has nothing to lose. Ambrose did at one point with the Shield, he has safety, but that love and security was taken away and Ambrose is now like a fish without water, grasping for air. Wyatt says he heals; he healed Rowan and Harper, and can heal Ambrose as well. All he has to do is take his hand and he can fix him. But he knows salvation is not for all. He once offered his hand to Daniel Bryan and Bryan defied him, and now Bryan is nowhere to be seen. Wyatt says Ambrose’s own father turned his back on his. Does he still send cards from prison Dean? Wyatt says to prove him wrong, and Ambrose starts to head up the ramp, but Wyatt disappears only to appear behind Ambrose and tell him to run. And then disappears again.

* We get highlights of Rusev defeating Sheamus for the US Title on Monday night.

* Renee Young is with AJ Lee. She’s asked about Raw, and says that we all know that Nikki made Brie slap her. Nikki wants to prove a point. Brie arrives and apologizes, and AJ says she gets it and feels bad for her. AJ says Nikki will do anything to get the title, and Nikki they attacks from behind and lays out AJ.

* Earlier today, Tyson Kidd was gloating to Layla and Summer about beating Sheamus on Raw. Natalya arrives and is upset that Kidd did not answer his phone. DRAMA!

Natalya w/Tyson Kidd vs. Summer Rae w/Layla: Kidd is on commentary. Kidd discusses that all divas hate each other, and takes credit for Sheamus losing the US Title because he weakened him. Meanwhile Summer works a body lock on Natalya, who counters and lays in some rights. Natalya powers out and slams Summer down. Natalya hits a basement dropkick and then a clothesline. She goes for the sharpshooter and Kidd starts yelling instructions, distracting Natalya and allowing Summer to score the roll up for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Summer Rae @ 1:35 via pin

* Natalya and Kidd argue post match.

* Backstage, Renee Young interviews Dolph Ziggler. She asks about his recent feud with the Authority, and Ziggler says that he made his intentions clear on Raw. He wants the Authority out. If he has to go through a monster in a steel cage, that’s what he’ll do. Triple H arrives and says he is surprised Ziggler is here after the beating he took on Raw. It’s a good thing that Orton saved him, but he’s not here tonight, and neither is John Cena. Triple H then says that maybe it’s time for Ziggler to same himself; it’s not too late to change your mind. You all saw what happened to Orton on Raw, if that can happen to Orton, what could happen to Ziggler.

* We now get a segment with Sergeant Dan Rose, an army veteran living with paralysis. Rose was in the Army Reserves for 10 years and served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan until an Improvised Explosive Device injured him in 2011. That left him paralyzed from the chest down. Through the support of a non-profit organization, SoldierSocks, Sergeant Rose was provided with an Ekso Bionics GT robotic exoskeleton, a suit that enables individuals with paralysis to stand up and walk. Here is video WWE released of the segment…

Some hit and run, and then a facebuster by Ziggler. He tries to climb out, but Kane stops that and slams Ziggler to the cage as we head to a commercial…

Kane misses a charge in another corner, some forearms by Ziggler and then the DDT connects and Ziggler is able to cover for 2. Ziggler looks to escape; Kane climbs with him and they battle on the top rope. Kicks by Ziggler and Kane crotches himself. Kane then clips out Ziggler’s leg, and he takes the crotch bump as well. Kane falls to the mat and Ziggler leaps off but eats an uppercut and Kane covers for 2. Chokeslam try by Kane countered and Ziggler climbs. Kane pulls him back in and slams Ziggler to the mat. Chokeslam by Kane follows and then calls for the end. Kane looks for a tombstone, but Ziggler escapes and hits the zigzag. Ziggler covers, but only gets 2. Ziggler now crawls for the door, Kane stops him and they hit heads and do the double knockdown. They get to their feet, Kane charges and hits the exposed turnbuckle. Kane is stuck in front of the door, Ziggler climbs over him and over the cage. Kane tries to stop him but Ziggler kicks him away. Ziggler over the top and as Kane kicks the door into Ziggler; it causes Ziggler to hang over the door left high and dry. Kane tries to escape but Ziggler gets the kick the cage into the other dude’s face spot and drops down for the victory.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Dolph Ziggler @ 12:20 via escape
