Welcome to 411’s WWE Smackdown Report 11.12.15

* We got Wyatt Family matters to kick off the show this week. The crowd was chanting for Taker as Wyatt and the family just stood in the ring. Luke Harper started off and said that the Wyatts show up and blood runs cold. Tonight, the carnage will continue as they sacrifice the Uso boys to honor Bray Wyatt. Rowan was up next and said Wyatt brings vengeance and sorrow to all who oppose him. Tonight, they bring pain and humiliation to all who oppose them. Strowman then chimed in, telling everyone to look at his face and see your annihilation as he will pile bodies to the sky, for the eater of worlds. Wyatt finally spoke, saying that he dead man may have risen and the demon escaped, but Kane and Taker will never be the same again. He took pieces of them, pieces that they cannot recover. He lives in their nightmares, because he is part of them. So he would like to issues a challenge for Survivor Series. The Brothers of Destruction vs. two members of the Wyatt Family, Family vs. Family. He will give them to the end of the night to respond, because 25-years from now they will celebrate the night that Bray Wyatt buried the demon and dead man forever.

Fandango vs. Braun Strowman w/The Family: The good news, Fandango still has a job. The bad news, he is about to die. Fandango attacked with a dropkick and rights, which angered Strowman. Strowman just started to toss him around the right and slam him down. Fandango tried to fight back, Strowman growled and yelled as Fandango connected with a kick. Strowman cut him off and got the big cuddly hug for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Braun Strowman @ 2:25 via submission
Rating: NR – (It was what it needed to be, short to protect Strowman and dominant to play off of the opening promo. It wasn’t particularly good, but it was what it needed to be.)

* We get an inset interview, where Neville says wants to win the title.

* We then got highlights of Rooney slapping Barrett on Raw.

World Title Tournament Match: Neville vs. King Barrett: Lock up to begin, Neville takes Barrett down with the side headlock and gets a near fall. Barrett to his feet, but Neville keeps control, going back to the side headlock takeover. Barrett gets to his feet, takes Neville to the corner but then misses the charge and Neville gets a near fall off the high cross. Barrett takes Neville to the apron and then grabs him by the hair and pulls him into the ring and then slams him down head first, which had to suck. They did a count out tease, and then Barrett sent Neville back to the floor. He followed and slammed Neville to the announce table, apron and then the barricade. Basically it sucks to be Neville as we head to a commercial…

Back from the break and Barrett hits the pump handle slam for 2. Barrett then locks in the WWE mandated chinlock for a bit, Neville fights to his feet, to the corner and Barrett gets a kick to the gut and covers for 2. Barrett lays in some kicks and then choke out Neville in the ropes. Knees in the ropes by Barrett and then a big boot sends Neville to the floor. Barrett follows, beats down Neville a bit, rolls him back in and covers again for 2. Barrett then takes Neville to the corner and delivers clubbing blows to the back, he then celebrates and then punts him in the gut. The cover gets 2. Back to the chinlock by Barrett, grounding Neville. Barrett then sends Neville off the ropes, tries for the winds of change but Neville counters it into a crucifix for 2. Barrett then tosses Neville back to the floor, and he follows again. He mocks Neville and makes him look at the title at ringside. Barrett then tells commentary he’s the next champion, but that allows Neville to run off the barricade and hit a dive onto Barrett. Neville then slams Barrett to the barricade a few times, back in and Neville connects with a series of kicks and then a standing shooting star press for 2. Neville looks for a deadlift German, countered and he then hits a sidekick to the gut and covers for 2. He goes for more covers, but Neville keeps kicking out. Barrett then argues with the ref and accuses the ref of being paid off. Neville avoids a kick, counters a suplex and gets the German with the bridge for 2. Neville heads up top, Barrett up so Neville jumps over him, and Barrett then gets the winds of change for 2. Barrett calls for the bull hammer, Neville avoids and gets a roll up for 2. Wasteland try for Barrett, but Neville counters into a DDT. Neville up top, he hits the red arrow, and that is all.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Neville @ 14:10 via pin
Rating: **½ – (I really wish that Neville had some kind of momentum going into this. He lost last week to Del Rio and then took the pin in a six-man on Raw; but why book with some thought to make wins and losses matter. The heat segment was really dry, but it got good down the stretch and they told a good story of Neville not giving up and finally overcoming to score the win.)

* Renee interviews the Usos about facing Harper and Rowan. They know about facing the Wyatts, and they know they smell bad. They want payback tonight, and will get Uso crazy.

* BONUS COVERAGE Barrett is still in the ring. This isn’t how he though this return would go, and on a normal day he would beat Neville. But he’s had something on his mind for the last 24 hours, and that is Wayne Rooney. He’s been wrestling for 12 years, and has been all over the world and considers himself a hall of famer. This brought out the Undertaker. Taker removed his hat and jacket as Barrett foolishly stayed in the ring, and told taker that he’s not in Death valley, but instead is in Barrett’s mean streets, the wrong side of the tracks, and he’s known as the Preston Panther. He doesn’t take kindly to outsiders coming into his yard and getting gin his face. So they have a standoff, and he plans to deal with this. First of all, he turns this elbow pad inside out, and he does, and then he will wind it up and he smashes taker in between the eyes. Barrett then says Taker isn’t worth it, and says it is Taker’s lucky day. He fakes leaving, and then tries to attack. Taker hits a chokeslam and stands tall. Taker looks to leave, but then listens to the crowd, returns to the ring and tombstones Barrett. They chant for him to do it again, so he does. Good night Wade. This ends your bonus coverage.

* We get little inset interviews from Ryback and Kalisto.

World Title Tournament Match: Ryback vs. Kalisto: They stand off to show off the size difference and then shake hands. Kalisto with kicks right away, Ryback shoves him away and Kalisto locks in a side headlock. Off the ropes, Kalisto uses his speed and counters Ryback a few times and then catches Ryback with a boot. Kalisto looks for a victory roll and then hits the salida del sol out of nowhere for a near fall. Ryback shoved him to the floor on the kick out. They then headed to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial as Kalisto lays in some kicks to Ryback. Ryback finally stops that with a spinebuster and then hits a stiff powerbomb and another. Kalisto rolls to the floor as Ryback celebrates. Ryback to the floor and rolls Kalisto back in, and covers for 2. Knees to the back connect for Ryback, to the corner and Kalisto hits hard and collapses to the mat. Kicks from Ryback follow, and then he connects with more knees to the back. Rights follow from Ryback, Kalisto tries to fight back, stalling suplex by Ryback but Kalisto with knees strikes to escape. Ryback then slams him to the mat, looks for another suplex and this time it connects. The cover gets 2. Ryback shows frustration that he cannot put him away, hits a slam and then stomps away at Kalisto. He celebrates and then locks in a grounded bear hug. He pulls Kalisto up, Kalisto works to escape but Ryback slams him down and covers for 2. Ryback goes back to the bear hug, because this isn’t bland enough. Kalisto fights out, but Ryback takes him back down and then misses the running splash. Ryback misses a boot and gets caught in the ropes, and then Kalisto hits a dropkick and sends Ryback to the floor. Moonsault to the floor by Kalisto is sorta caught and Ryback slams him to the floor and then to the barricade. Kalisto escapes another slam, and sends Ryback to the apron. Bulldog by Kalisto as they get back in the ring and Kalisto covers for 2. Kicks by Kalisto follow, Ryback shoves him off and then counters a RANA into a shell shock, but Kalisto escapes into a sunset flip for 2. Ryback is pissed and misses the clothesline and eats a dropkick. He then hits the meat hook, and covers for 2 as Kalisto gets the ropes. Corner splash by Ryback, and then another connects. Kalisto then get a back elbow, but Ryback hits another corner splash. Ryback sets Kalisto up top, he follows but Kalisto then hits the salida del sol off of the second rope and picks up the upset victory. At least the finish was good.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Kalisto @ 12:00 via pin
Rating: * – (The mistake here is that they worked a match way too similar to the Neville/Barrett match, and it was slower and not nearly as entertaining. In fact, this was one of the most boring matches I have seen from Kalisto and I have seen a lot of his work. They had the right idea with the upset story, but went about eight minutes too long.)

* Post match Ryback offers Kalisto a handshake and then raises his hand.

* Del Rio and Colter are out for their usual banter. Colter mocks the UK, and says that the country is filled with dividers and haters. He discusses the Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English all hating each other. But he and Del Rio have made themselves better because they have ended their hate. Del Rio then discusses the Manchester soccer teams dividing the city. Mex-America, blah, blah, blah. This pairing and gimmick sucks.

* Stardust cut an inset promo about being a dark horse running for the title.

World Title Tournament Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Stardust: Stardust gets a roll up right away and covers for 2. Del Rio gets pissed and beats on him, slams him to the corner and then hits a suplex and covers for 2. Corner mounted punches by Del Rio follow, off the ropes and a kick by Stardust follows. He clotheslines Del Rio to the floor. Stardust looks to go to the floor and eats a kick from Del Rio, and then Del Rio pulls him to the floor and slams him to the barricade, we head to a commercial…

Back from commercial as Del Rio hits a tilt a whirl slam, and covers for 2. Del Rio then slams Stardust to the corner, lays in the boots and covers for 1 as Stardust grabs the ropes. Stardust with rights, corner mounted rights now but Del Rio slips out and slams Stardust to the corner. Del Rio hits the corner enziguri and covers for 2. Del Rio to the corner, and then uses the hanging arm bar in the ropes to not set up the cross arm breaker. Del Rio runs in and then into a side effect by Stardust, and both men are down. Stardust to his feet, connects with elbows and heads to the second rope and hits a blockbuster style move, and the cover gets 2. Reverse DDT by Stardust and the cover gets 2. Del Rio connects with the back stabber, and then hits the clothesline and covers for 2. Del Rio actually teases the cross arm breaker, but Stardust escapes and hits the disaster kick and covers for 2. No heat for this, no one bought it. Del Rio takes him to the corner, connects with kicks but then runs into a boot by Stardust. Stardust heads up top, but Del Rio cuts him off and Stardust ends up in the corner hanging. Double stomp and that is all.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Alberto Del Rio @ 9:04 via pin
Rating: *½ – (There was no real heat for this whatsoever, and never once did they make me think Stardust had a chance. Moving on.)

* We get highlights from Raw, featuring Paige and Becky Lynch.

* Renee is with Roman Reigns. Reigns discusses his match on Raw with Cesaro. He’s been chasing the title, and it has been like conquering Everest for him. Every time he gets to the summit, an avalanche is coming down on him. Cesaro will try to uppercut his face off, but he will not be stopped. Renee discusses Triple H’s offer, and we get footage from the segment from Raw. Reigns says that he is not a sell out like Rollins, he believes in the fight and that is what he will bring. At Survivor Series, he will stand-alone as the sole survivor and champion.

The Wyatts (Harper and Rowan) w/Bray and Strowman vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey): They brawl right away, with the Wyatts cleaning house and beating down Jey I believe. They go for a double chokeslam and Jimmy makes the save, and it spills to the floor. The Usos finally get control and the match officially starts. Rowan and Jimmy in, to the corner and rights follow. Rowan connects with the forearm, climbs up with Jey and hits the sack of shit slam off of the second rope. Harper tags in and hits the big boot on the floor as we head to a commercial…

back from commercial as Rowan works his cranium crunchier on Jey. He then lays the boots to him, tags in Harper and he hits the catapult in the ropes. Harper rips off Jey’s shirt and chops away at him, tag back to Rowan and he connects with a slam and then tries to rip off his nose. Jey fights to his feet, tires a slam but Rowan is too much for him and falls on him, and the cover gets 2. Back to the Wyatt’s corner they go, Rowan misses a charge and posts himself. Tags in, misses the boot in the corner and spills to the floor. Jey finally gets the tag to Jimmy, he runs wild with clothesline and kicks on Harper. Rowan cuts off Jimmy and pulls him to the floor, Jey tries to attack but Rowan cuts him off. Jimmy up top and hits the high cross onto Harper for 2. Rowan slams Jey to the steps, and Harper rolls up Jimmy for 2. Samoan Drop by Jimmy on Harper, hits the Samoan clambake and then the whisper in the wind onto Rowan. The Wyatts to the floor, Jimmy with the dive but gets caught and the Wyatts put an end to that comeback. Back in the ring and Harper looks for a powerbomb and connects, but Jey flies in with the top rope splash to break that up. It breaks down as Rowan is in and hits a running splash onto Jey. Harper to his feet, and eats a superkick and then another from Jimmy. Harper to the floor, double superkick to Rowan and he rolls to the floor. Stereo dives by the Usos connect, and they stand tall in the ring. The Wyatt Family then surrounds the ring and then attack for the DQ

OFFICIAL RESULT: The Usos @ 10:00 via DQ
Rating: **¾ – (They had some flashes of good stuff there, but I was hoping for more considering their history of delivering good matches. The DQ finish and 4 on 2 is better than a loss for the Usos, but doesn’t exactly make them look strong if they are the next challengers for the tag titles as rumored.)

* The Wyatts beat down the Usos with Harper and Rowan hitting a double team chokeslam on Jey and roll him to the floor. Strowman then hits his back breaker deal on Jimmy and then Bray hits the Sister Abigail. Undertaker’s dong hits and the lights go out, and we then hear taker’s voice. He will drag the family to hell and the Wyatts will rest in peace. Kane’s fire pyro also went off. So… they accept.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.
