411’s WWE Smackdown Report 9.05.14

September 5, 2014 | Posted by Larry Csonka

Welcome to 411’s WWE Smackdown Report 9.05.14

  • Match times are not exact.
  • A big Lesnar vs. Cena video package kicks off the show.
  • John Cena kicks off the show this week, making a rare Smackdown appearance. Cena plays to the crowd a bit, and then notes at Night of Champions, he will have his rematch with Brock Lesnar. He will challenge Lesnar for the WWE World Title, and Cena says the match is made so stop talking about if it is right or wrong, if he is ready or not, stop; he’s been here for 12-years. But after SummerSlam, everyone is doubting him and acting like he is at the end of the road, like he’s a fragile old man. He is John Cena, he is a WWE superstar and he fights, he fights because he wants to be the champion, and he wants to be champion because that means being the best. And when that feeling ends, that is when he will walk away. He says the fans understand, but others don’t get it, just after one match with the most destructive force that has set foot in WWE, Brock Lesnar. Brock has been destroying everything in his path, and Lesnar is everything Heyman says he is. But he will get his redemption at Night of Champions. He doesn’t care who doubts him, says he will stand tall and gets in a $9.99 shill in. He will beat Lesnar’s ass at Night of Champions. Kane and Rollins then make their way out…

Oh boy, I think you know what this means…

     photo teddy_long_tag_team_match_11_zps232a2be9.jpg

Kane thinks Cena is losing it, and Rollins says he is having a mid-career crisis. Cena jokes that he is getting life advice from Kane, and then tells Rollins to kiss his ass because the adults are talking. Kane says he can book Cena in any match he wants, so Cena better watch his tone. And now Roman Reigns makes his way out to the ring. Reigns and Cena share a nod of respect, and then Reigns says he finishes his business with Randy Orton, but tonight, he can focus on Kane and Rollins. He’d love to make their lives hell, so lets start right now. Cena says he can believe that. Kane says they wouldn’t be facing them, and Rollins says just when you think you are catching up, they are 10-steps ahead of them. The Wyatts then appear at ringside, magically, through the power of lights out. So Chris Jericho then makes his appearance. He has Mark Henry and Big Show with him. Jesus, now Triple H’s music hits and he appears. He makes a 10-man tag for the main event, featuring John Cena, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Mark Henry and The Big Show vs. Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Kane and Seth Rollins. He even did a little Teddy Long impersonation, and they played the Teddy Long music. And you guys thought I was going overboard with the graphic.
