411’s WWE Smackdown Report 9.17.15
* We get a long video package, recapping the events from Monday Night Raw.
* Rich Brennen, Booker T and Jerry Lawler are on commentary.
* Seth Rollins comes out to talk…
Seth Rollins Talks: Rollins said that he will make history at Night of Champions when he defends both the US and World Title in the same night, defeating Cena and Sting on the same night. Rollins plans to beat and break John Cena, and more importantly break Cena’s spirit. As for Sting, that face painted freak has bitten off more than he can chew. He will make history on Sunday, but tonight he makes history teaming with Sheamus to battle Reigns and Ambrose. He has no issue teaming with Sheamus tonight, because he’s not insecure, he is the now. This of course brought out Sheamus. Sheamus came out and asked if Rollins considered him an enemy? Because he doesn’t want Sheamus as an enemy, and when he does decide to cash in, Rollins will never see it coming. Rollins joked about Sheamus’ look and said he’d surely see him coming. Sheamus said that he did not look stupid and said to respect the hawk. Cooler heads prevailed, they made nice and agreed to face Ambrose and Reigns tonight. Sheamus did add that he’d get to see Rollins’ strengths and weaknesses up close, and that when he did cash in, he would take the title.
* We get highlights of Team Bad working over Paige and Becky on Raw.
Paige and Becky Lynch w/Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi w/Tamina: Becky and Naomi to begin, Becky is not pleased so she just starts to kick Naomi’s ass. She hits a dropkick and Naomi tags in Banks. Becky keeps control with arm drags, and then a sunset flip for 2. Becky works some cradles and then back to the arm. She tries a kick out of the corner, but Banks cuts her off with a boot to the guy as we head to a commercial…
Back from commercial as Naomi and Banks work over Becky in their corner. They continue to keep Becky isolated, and Banks gets a near fall. Banks with a snap mare and works a seated abdominal stretch on Becky. Becky works to escape, Banks chokes her in the ropes and then tags in Naomi for a variation on the AWA special; Naomi covers for 2 and then goes back to a seated stretch on Becky. Naomi maintains control, dances a bit and tags in Banks, who lays in the kicks to Becky and covers for 2. Banks again tries to ground Becky, who works to her feet and gets the hip toss to escape. Becky with the boot and a shot on Naomi, looks for the tag and the heels cut her off again. She finally kicks them away and here comes Paige. Paige with repeated kicks and knees to Naomi after tossing Banks, Becky pulls Banks to the floor as she tries a distraction, which worked anyway as Naomi rolled up Paige for the win.

* Stardust cuts a wacky promo about the fifth dimension, and the Ascension appears. Welcome to the Cosmic Wasteland.
* NEW DAY TIME! They have their protest signs; they just want to save the tables. After a commercial they get promo time. No trombone tonight, but they say that tables are a terrible thing to waste. The Dudleyz disrespect men and woman, a woman who is close to them and dear to them; mother nature. Kofi puts over Mother Nature for growing these beautiful trees, and in seconds, the Dudleyz destroy a lifetime of work. YOU GOT TO RESPECT YOUR MOMMA! They have a petition to save the tables. If the Dudleyz sign, they will have karma that will grow. Only you can prevent table poaching, so chant along, “SAVE THE TABLES!” Here comes the Dudleyz.
Kofi Kingston w/Big E and Woods vs. Devon Dudley w/Bubba: Kofi tries to get Devon to sign the petition, and instead of signing they break the clipboard. Devon beats down Kofi in the corner and then hits a big hip toss. Big E and Woods try to get a table and Bubba makes the save as Devon continues to work over Kofi and then pulls Woods in the ring. This allows Kofi to get the roll up for the win.

* We get video of the recent stuff between Ziggler, Summer and Rusev. Ru Ru was not pleased with this.
* We now get highlights of Nikki retaining her title on Raw.
* Nikki, Brie and Fox all walk and discuss the BELLABRATION! Fox got 298 bottles of champagne, to commemorate the reign of Nikki. They are excited that they will all get to BRIE MODE tonight. Brie sent invitations to top stars and superstars. Nikki name drops Kim and Kanye, and praises herself.
* Big Show walks. Miz approaches him with a “Confidential” stack of papers. Show looks at it and then tosses it aside.
Big Show vs. Cesaro: Cesaro attacks at the bell, but Show stops that and lays in chops in the corner. Show then lays in body shots and yells at the crowd, Cesaro counters the chop with a hanging arm bar. He then flies off the ropes with a knee to the shoulder, and now goes to work on the arm. Show tosses him across the ring and shakes off the attack. Show uses his ass to beat down Cesaro in the corner. Show then drops elbows on the leg and then cannonballs down onto it. Cesaro manages to fight back, but Show goes back to attacking the knee. He then works a standing leg lock on Cesaro, but Cesaro escapes and lays in the uppercuts on Show. Cesaro with several uppercuts, heads up top and hits a high cross for 2. Running uppercut by Cesaro connects, and the cover gets 2. Show then looks for the chokeslam, Cesaro escapes and tries to work the arm and applies a standing cross face. Knees and uppercuts follow, off the ropes and Cesaro counters the chokeslam and looks for the neutralizer but Show escapes. Straps down, KO shot and that is all.

* Ambrose and Reigns talk backstage, and Renee Young arrives. She asks them about their mystery partner, and they do not plan to reveal who it is. Wyatt took out Uso and Orton, so they need to play it close to the chest. Ambrose had a great idea, and made the call for the partner they needed. Everyone will find out who it is when the Wyatt’s do, at Night of Champions. Ambrose admits that they have been out gunned and out numbered, but on Sunday, the odds will be evened. Tonight they plan to pick up a big win before they go to war on Sunday.
* Rusev cut a prom about that skinny little Dolph hurting the heart of Lana and trying to steal the hot Summer with his abs and blonde hair.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens: Ziggler attacked right away, they had some back and forth and then Ziggler hit the dropkick and a roll up for 2. Owens then avoided the dropkick and hit a running senton, and the cover got 2. Owens is in control now, working over Ziggler with a whip to the corner and then stomping on his wrist. Ziggler fought back with rights, Owens countered the DDT and then connected with one and the cover got 2 as they headed to commercial…
Back from commercial as Owens had control. Ziggler moved on a charge and Owens posted himself. They had some back and forth, and Ziggler got a roll up for 2. The backslide also gets 2. Fameasser by Ziggler gets another 2. Ziggler then counters a superkick and gets a DDT, the cover only gets 2. Owens rolls to the floor, Ziggler follows and gets slammed into the barricade. They continued to brawl on the floor, with Owens tossing Ziggler into the timekeeper’s area. Ziggler is able to beat the count and get back into the ring. Owens then connects with a superkick and sends Ziggler to the floor. He follows and looks for the apron powerbomb, but Ryback runs out for the save and they brawl.

* They brawl and then Owens is able to escape and head up the ramp. Ryback checks Ziggler
* Brie and Fox talk with the security guy for the BELLABRATION, and seem concerned that they do not know who is attending.
* We get a Conor’s Cure video.
* Time for the BELLABRATION! Nikki expects a ton of people to be there, but NO ONE is there when she arrives. Nikki is pissed that the BELLABRATION is a bust. She keeps calling out celebrity names, but Brie tells her no one came. Fox promises to fix it and Nikki makes them leave and takes a drink. Paige, Becky and Charlotte arrive and Becky is wearing like four party hats and is amazing. Charlotte told her to get used to being alone, because after Night of Champions, she will be without the title. Poor Nikki is devastated. Adam Rose then appears, and tells her that her party sucks. Nikki throws her cake and yells at Rose, but we see that Brie and Fox were the ones hit with the cake.
* Summer check son Ziggler backstage. She thanks him for the gift on Raw. And he says he wants to let bygones be bygones. He tells her she deserves it, and said that sometimes a gift can mean more than it appears. DRAMA.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins and Sheamus: Sheamus rants at the crowd about respecting the hawk and that he does not look stupid. Rollins laughs at him. Sheamus enters the ring and Ambrose roll him up for 2. Clothesline and punches by Ambrose, running kick follows and then a clothesline by Reigns. Rollins in and he gets sent to the floor. Ambrose teases a dive, allowing Reigns to take out Rollins and then for Ambrose to hit a dive onto Sheamus. Commercial time…
Back from commercial as Rollins works over Ambrose, they got the heat with the commercial as Sheamus beat him down on the floor. Ambrose tries to fight back, but eats the flatliner into the corner. Side back breaker by Rollins follows and the cover gets 2. Sheamus tags in, works over Ambrose a bit, hits a suplex and talks some shit to Rollins. Ambrose gets a small package and that gets 2, but Sheamus then takes his head off with a clothesline. Rollins tags in, lays the boots to Ambrose and then delivers rights in the corner. Corner charge by Rollins follows, and then slams him to his corner. Sheamus back in, and works the chinlock. Sheamus tries for a powerbomb, but Ambrose hits a RANA and Sheamus falls to the floor. Sheamus back in, but a neck breaker by Ambrose connects and he then gets the hot tag to Reigns. Rollins also gets the tag and reigns works him over with rights, clotheslines and the Samoan drop. Rollins gets a small package, but Reigns escapes. Roll up by Reigns, and then he connects with the one armed powerbomb. Rollins then stuns reigns off the ropes and kicks Reigns in the face, and Sheamus wants the tag. He lied and gave Rollins the old crocodile arms and dropped to the floor. Rollins tried to steal the case, they argued and Rollins snuck in a tag on Sheamus. Ambrose hit a dive on Sheamus, tossed him back in and he ate a Superman punch and dirty deeds and was pinned.

* Reigns and Ambrose celebrated, but then the Wyatt’s appeared via video on the big screen. It showed the destruction by Strowman as of late, and Bray warned them that no one was safe. Wyatt then appeared and questioned who would be stupid enough to join them at Night of champions. He knows that it doesn’t matter, because in the end, they all fall down. Strowman then told them to RUN.
