411’s WWE Talking Smack Report: 12/13/16

-Welcome to another edition of Talking Smack!

-Renee Young (looking fantastic as always) welcomes us and Daniel Bryan just realized that the opening has a giant fist throwing a punch which is a throw back to the old SD set. He jokingly says SmackDown loves fisting.

-They get down to business as Dolph Ziggler won the 4 Way to become #1 contender to the WWE Title. Renee brings up that this is just another opportunity for Dolph as they have been down this road previously.

-Moving on to Ellsworth, but before they talk too much, AJ Styles is here to interrupt. AJ makes a joke about Ellsworth’s chin and Daniel reminds him they are an anti-bullying company. AJ points out that Daniel called him fat earlier. Renee gets things back on track as she brings up Dolph being the #1 contender. AJ says it was a great match and calls Harper intimidating, but not smart enough to win. AJ says 1 on 1 he can beat anyone.

-Renee asks if James has lost his #1 contender spot and Daniel says no, but he will have to wait since he is sick. That means AJ has two people chasing his title now. AJ is still upset that Daniel and Shane never did anything to Ambrose. Daniel says it is because he is too cute, but it seems he was still talking about Ellsworth. He then jokes that Renee is the one that says Dean is too cute! Renee starts blushing in a great moment. Awww! I think Daniel enjoyed getting her to break there and she even thanks Daniel for that. Again, I loved that moment.

-AJ says he has never faced Luke Harper and he doesn’t know much about him. He says Harper is a big dude that can move and that is intimidating. Daniel thought Harper looked incredible tonight (yes, sir!) and would love to see what he could do against AJ Styles.

-Renee plugs the Dec 27th show as that is when Dolph gets his title shot. Daniel wants a prediction from AJ as far as how long Dolph can last. AJ says he knows the superkick is coming and is ready for him. He says health wise he is doing fine and is ready to go. Renee wants to know if AJ has been cleared and he ducks the question as he says he isn’t worried about his health. Daniel kind of ushers AJ off the stage as he was kind of a dick to AJ during that interview.

-They move on to the Women’s Division and Renee gets Daniel back for the Ambrose crack by throwing in that Nikki is Daniel’s sister in law. They briefly discuss the “who attacked Nikki angle” and then bring on their next guests,

-The Usos join the set and we find out they have been out thanks to Jey’s ankle injury. They bring up that Ryder may be injured as well and they want Daniel to make them #1 contenders to the tag titles. They want to know if Daniel honestly believes The Hype Bros can beat The Wyatts. He doesn’t answer and that is enough of an answer for The Usos as they know they can beat the champs. They are willing to go next week if needed. Jimmy keeps making jokes about being the better member as he says he is Shawn while Jey is Marty. He is Mario while Jey is Luigi and Renee asks if there is a Wario. Jimmy says, no but he does have a princess which is another sweet moment. We are all about breaking walls down with this episode.

-Daniel says they need to get Ryder a MRI and then he will get back to The Usos. Daniel and Renee run down all the tag teams and The Usos says they will squash all of them so just make them the top contenders. Things get silly as The Usos start to break dance and Daniel Bryan even gives it a go. That was a fun interview that kind of went off the rails, but did so in an entertaining fashion. I mean they even got Renee to dance as she thought she was off camera. Tremendous!

-The Usos exit the set and Renee brings up the day they spent with the troops. Daniel talks about all the stuff he did and that the best part was going to The Navy Ceremonial Guard. He puts over how great the Armed Forces are and Renee says she is blessed to be able to meet the troops. Renee got to ride a helicopter and see the White House for the first time. Apparently Jason Jordan also got tazed and I want to see footage of that if it exists.

-Alexa Bliss joins the desk next and she says he is rather sore. She isn’t sure what is wrong with her knee and all she knew was that he knee buckled and she just happened to be counted out. Daniel wants to know why she hasn’t seen the trainer yet. Daniel questions why she was limping at times and other times she wasn’t. She is offended that Daniel would question her integrity. She says it was all adrenaline and that Daniel should know what that is like. She crushes Renee as being someone that wouldn’t understand. Alexa is tremendous her as she puts over being the leader of the locker room and continues to sell the knee. The look of disgust on Daniel’s face is fantastic. She limps away from the desk as even Renee shoots her a look.

-Renee wraps things up and plugs Tribute To The Troops tomorrow on USA.
