411’s WWE Talking Smack Report: 05/09/17

-I was able to get home about 20 minutes before midnight so that is why this one is being posted later than normal. Also due to getting home from a meeting so late I have no idea what happened on SmackDown other than they were in London.

-Renee Young welcomes us and she is joined by JBL. I had enough of him last night with Bring it to the Table and now I get him on the show I do look forward to reviewing. Great!

-They discuss the Main Event and how Jinder was able to get one up on Orton and JBL thinks it could happen at the PPV. This isn’t a best of 7 series and Jinder just needs to beat Orton 1 time on that night to be champion. JBL immediately brings up Mr. McMahon telling people to grab the brass ring and Jinder is doing that. Renee and JBL both put over Jinder’s physique.

-Renee wants to know what’s up with Sami Zayn and JBL says he over thinks way too much. He puts over the backstage segment he had tonight though.

-Next they discuss The Fashion Police, Breezango and JBL talks about how they gave him a ticket for wearing a kilt. JBL goes back to the story he told last night of how he won $21 on the golf course last week. He calls Breezango incredibly talented and he wants them to get the freedom to do whatever they want.

-They show a promo The Usos cut earlier in the day. They aren’t afraid of any fake police offices, and promise the Tag Titles are staying with them. Before they get to the PPV though they want to see the cracking night club scene in London.

-JBL puts over The Usos and how he knew they were stars from the beginning when they were working dark matches. He feels Breezango will be Tag Champs one day, but not this time as The Usos are on a different level.

-Next they talk about Charlotte and how it may take time for her to get back in her comfort zone after the brand change. On the opposite end is Naomi who is more than comfortable with her spot and they put over her entrance.

-Mojo Rawley is talked about next and how he had a segment speaking to kids about the history of Andre the Giant. Apparently it ended with a little kid kicking him. They throw to a pre-taped interview where Mojo talks about the significance of winning The Andre trophy. He feels invincible as long as the trophy is with him. I guess these recorded promos are taking the place of the guest joining the set.

-Dolph/Nakamura discussed next and JBL feels they are going to steal the show at the PPV. He says Chicago is the perfect place for this match as it is one of the greatest places to wrestle. He also feels Dolph is going to have fun as they crowd is going to boo him out of the building as they will be 100% with Nakamura.

-Dolph guts a pre-taped promo where he puts over how long he has been in the WWE. He is going to figure out Nakamura and show everyone just how damn good he is.

-JBL continue to harp on the fact that this is basically a home crowd for Shin as I guess Chicago is in Japan now. He thinks Dolph is going to have a ball as the heel with the way the crowd will be against him.

-Renee wraps things up and this ends a rather bland episode of the show. JBL was tolerable mostly due to the fact that there was no in studio guest for him to bully or talk over. The lack of in studio guests killed this one as it made for a uneventful and sometimes boring show. Renee looked great though!
