UPDATED: Details on AJ Styles’ Injury at WWE TLC

UPDATE: The Wrestling Observer reports that AJ Styles did indeed suffer a minor ankle injury at TLC. The site notes that it isn’t clear whether Styles’ scheduled match with James Ellsworth at Smackdown will be changed or if he will be able to compete at all. His status on house shows is also unknown as of this moment.

ORIGINAL: According to wrestlinginc.com, AJ styles may have been injured at last night’s TLV PPV. Styles celebrated until the PPV went off the air. After the show ended, Styles fell to the mat and a trainer came running down to check on him. Another trainer was checking on Ambrose outside of the ring. Styles was talking to the trainer about his right foot and was seen trying to move it around. Styles walked out on his own but was noticeably limping as fans gave him a standing ovation.

WWE has not made any official confirmation or comment on the rumors.
