Bobby Eaton Hospitalized Due to Suspected Heart Attack

September 21, 2014 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– Brian Thompson issued a statement to PWInsider revealing that Bobby Eaton was hospitalized in Omaha, Nebraska due to a suspected heart attack. Thompson said that he and Eaton were booked for Prop Wrestling Phoenix for a training seminar and on the way there, Eaton–who has battled with diabetes–complained of fatique and low blood sugar. After getting to the venue, Thompson got Eaton “some candies that help get sugar rates back up as they bottom out” and Eaton felt better about thirty to forty-five minutes later.

The statement goes on to say that after the two went to the gimmick table around 6:30 PM to sell pictures and other merchandise, Eaton seemed to be getting worse and “started to shake and sweat more.” He began having seizure-like jolts and was talen to a local hospital by ambulance. Eaton’s heart rate and sugar levels were both elevated and doctors belief that he had a heart attack.

Eaton is in the hospital recovering and being observed to make sure that he’s okay. Thompson noted that “[Eaton’s] defibulator and pacemaker were key in keeping him from going into full cardiac arrest we do believe.”

On behalf of 411, our best wishes for a quick recovery for Mr. Eaton.
