Brock Lesnar’s WWE Merchandise Halt Was For a Third Party
December 18, 2014 | Posted by
– As you may recall, a report hit this week that WWE had instructed the merchandise department not to make new merchandise for Brock Lesnar. That report was denied by WWE, and now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that the instruction was handed down not to the merchandising department, but to a licensing partner.
According to the site, WWE said that any “group-shot merchandise” that includes all WWE’s top names shouldn’t feature Lesnar and should replace him with Sheamus. The reason is that since Lesnar has not yet re-signed, the partner was told not to make anything new just to be safe. The instruction was for items that would be released after WrestleMania 31.
