– Matt Hardy spoke with WZ Weekly for a new in-character interview. You can hear audio of it below.

When asked about how his new persona and the “Delete” chant has become so big in such a short amount of time, Hardy said, “Oh Joe, you must understand, The Great War transcends a wrestling match or a wrestling promotion. It transcends in to life. People see The Great War. They see the movement that I am doing with my broken brilliance and they understand that. For once I have brought Impact Wrestling and given it it’s own identity. There were times in the past when maybe the people who did the X-Division matches gave it a bit of identity but it has lost it’s way. Now I am the way within TNA. I’ve given it an identity. We are giving it something different. You know that MeekMahan every week on RAW he rolls up or whenever he wishes on RAW or the Smackdown. He expects the fans just to swallow it without regurgitating it and they do not do that. Instead of swallowing stuff they do not like they chant at MeekMahan “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” They let him know because that is The Great War. It is truly the light trying to overpower the darkness.”
