RAW!
IS!
WAR SPELLED BACKWARDS!!!

After a nice little recap of last week, we start the show with a yellow and red Cena. Due to some audio issues, I have no idea what he says for a bulk of the promo. I come back to life, back to reality when Cena speaks about his opponent in the main event tonight, which is Ryback, it appears. Cena wants to talk business with Ryback. He gets some mega cheers, as Cole calls him a Free Agent, claiming either team would benefit much from Ryback’s presence. It’s cool that you can hear the accent from the crowd. haha. Ryback says “The Big Guy’s back,” but he is cut short of any other promo practice by The Authority’s music hitting – which may just be for the best. Triple H, Steph, Kane, Rollins, and the stooges come out. They part themselves to introduce…

Mark Henry.

Cole says Swagger joined Cena. Is that true? When did that happen?

Ziggler chance here, and Steph says that these people, who are run by a monarchy, should understand just where they are coming from. Triple H says everything is on the line at Survivor Series, which means everything is on the line for everyone in the WWE. Triple H is going to put the fear of God into the guys on Cena’s team. The crowd is really trying to overshadow Trips…they kinda are. The stakes have been raised, says Trips, and now he wants to know who has the guts to play in the game. Triple H was on last week. This week, he’s speaking in hyperbole and extended metaphors that just stink to high hell and sound like a bunch of soundbites in one order.

Anyway, Triple H lacks at Swagger’s presence on their team, and mentions Dolph Ziggler. Triple H says Ziggler won’t even make it to Survivor Series. Cena brings up Daniel Bryan. Triple H mentions Bryan sitting on his ass at home today, so shut yo face, brah. Tonight, Ziggler takes on Mark Henry. Henry gets all “yeah, son.” Stephanie calls Cena an insirational and motivational speaker she’s heard. She says it’s all propaganda though and harsh reality is better than false hope and joining Team Authority is best for business. If Ryback joined Team Authority, imagine how many more main event opportunities he could have. Triple H almost gives it away by pointing to Trips when she mentions who is on the team…

Steph gets all hot and bothered when she describes Ryback’s physical attributes. Triple H wants to feed Ryback more. More opportunities, more main events, more belts, more fame, more glory, more Stephanie, more Twinkies. He offers Ryback anything he wants, and Ryback grins. Cena says this is why they should be out of the job. Cena’s team will take the field as men, and not as some sellout. Cena drops Sexual Chocolate. Cena says he’s not gonna beg Ryback but just keep in mind, if Ryback messes up one time…they will end him. If Ryback is as good as he says he is, then join Cena’s team and let The Universe decide his fate. Feed Me MOAR chant. The Big Guy is not afraid of The Authority, and he also doesn’t see John Cena’s name on the bottom of his paycheck…

SPINEBUSTER to John Cena!!!

Stephanie tries to get a Yes! Chant going. Ryback leaves the ring, and we didn’t really get a deliberate answer as to who Ryback is with.

WHOSE SIDE IS HE ON!!

Ryback says he’s got it, but Kane says that he’ll need both confidence and humility, so let’s be clear: Kane will be out there for the sole purpose of helping him win. Kane says to follow his lead. Ryback says when he wants Kane’s advice, he’ll ask for it. He tells Kane to stay out of his way in the match tonight.

So backstage, Steph and Triple H are watching Vince’s announcement from last week as if they forgot what he said…no wonder we have so many recaps. They speak of Steph and her “silver spoon,” then talk of Vince’s motivational ways. Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter, says Triple H. They are going to fight, and they are going to win – like they always do. Still, Steph says, what if?

Recap of Rusev winning the US Championship. Lana is here with Rusev. She brings up the superiority of Russia over US. Speaking of this, if it wasn’t for Russia stepping in, right now, all of Liverpool would be speaking German. The guys that Rusev come out with have thier turn on the mic. It appears they’re speaking on behalf of Russia, and want to congratulate Rusev. Rusev wants respect for the Russian National Anthem. Sheamus’s music cuts it off real quick, though, and he runs his ass down the ramp then slowly lumbers to attack Rusev. haha. Silly ginger.

Recapper’s Note: You’ll have to forgive the quality of the first hour and the report up until this point. Technical difficulties have caused for a very shitty viewing, and, as such, a report. Things seems to be ok now, though.

Match 3: Sheamus vs Rusev
I come back to the match with Rusev dominating Sheamus. He is laid prone on the apron. Rusev grabs the right arm and pulls Sheamus into the center of the ring. He stomps Sheamus in the chest. Sheamus with a right hand to the gut but Rusev fires back with a blow to the back. He sends Sheamus in the corner and Shemus hits a big boot. Sheamus fires off the ropes with a right hand. Rusev hits one, Sheamus with one of his own. Another. One more. He hits the ropes and goes for another, but Rusev will NOT FALL! AXE HANDLE OFF THE ROPES and we Rusev goes down! Shoulder inot the corner. High running knee from Sheamus. Sheamus runs forward….right into a dropkick! Both men are down. Rusev runs for a splash, but Sheamus catches him and hits a body slam into a pin or 1…2..NO! Sheamus is standing. He turns to see Rusev crawling towards the ropes. Sheamus goes forward, but Rusev pulls the ropes, sending to the outside. Sheamus lands on his feet, hops up top and hits the battering of the chest. Sheamus rolls in then trips Rusev up and tries to lock in the Cloverleaf! He can’t lock it in. Sheamus with a rollup but Rusev turns it around and looks like a modified German!!! Pin for 1…2..NO! Rusev is up and sends Sheamus into the corner and hits him with the right. Rusev sends Sheamus hard into the corner then sets him horizontally across the ropes. Rusev with a right hand to the gut. Another. Rusev gets a firemans. Sheamus with an elbow, another, one more to drop down. He gets a firemans and hits White Noise, damn near dropping Rusev! Pin for 1..2….NO!

Both men down. They each get up in opposite corners. Sheamus is up first. He calls for the Brogue! He runs, but Rusev drops and rolls out of the ring!! Sheamus runs to the corner and hops up top. He flies off the top rope with a right hand to the head of Rusev!!! Sheamus sends Rusev into the ring but Rusev rolls out, so Sheamus clotheslines his ass. haha. Sheamus sends Rusev into the barricade at the count of 5. He’s counting pretty damned fast.
At 8, Sheamus tosses Rusev into the ring. He’s about to get in, but THE STOOGES FROM THE AUTHORITY come and pull Sheamus down!! The ref hits 10, not seeing the distraction, and Sheamus loses via countout yet again!
Official Result: Rusev via Countout
A nice second half, and a nice way to progress the storyline.

Backstage, Rusev and Lana are walking proudly. Here comes Steph, clapping and congratulating. She wants to know if he’s thought of the offer. Lana says yes, they will join. Putin is very happy….Steph cuts her off ,tells her she doesn’t give a damn what Putin says. It’s about what The Authority wants. Lana understands, then Steph kinda mocks Lana. They don’t seem bothered by it.

Team Authority is now set, it appears: Seth Rollins, Kane, Ryback (allegedly), Mark Henry, and Kane.

Team Cena: John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, John Cena (street fight gear), John Cena (Make-a-Wish Shirt)

Backstage, Seth Rollins comes into Ryback’s locker room to call him huge. He wanted to tell Ryback welcome aboard, and wants to reassure Ryback that just like Rusev, Ryback made the right call. This is huge, says Rollins. WWE is on the line. Seth brings up their differences in the past and says they are on the same team now. All that matters is Survivor Series, and personally, Seth agrees with Ryback. He doesn’t need to take orders from Kane….he can take them from Seth. haha. Ryback says his game plan is simple; he finds a target, and he destroys it. Cena is the target tonight. There is not a big man to the big guy.

A high kick then a rolling hit then a whip followed by a hurricanrana. Splash in the corner goes adly as Miz hits an elbow. Matador flies off with a crossbody but Mizdow breaks it up. Miz gloats, so does Hornswoggle, so El Torito takes care of him. Miz on the apron, but Matador hits him in the gut with a shoulder.
A suplex goes wrong, and Miz is able to turn it into a pin Sandow holds the leg down, preventing a kick out as we get the 1….2…3!!!
Official Result: The Miz

Dolph is in the back, taping up his wrist. Cena apologizes. Dolph brings up the team of The Authority and says all them against the two of them? Did they just forget about Swagger?
