– I did a column, “Where Are They Now, The Cruiserweight Classic Finals Performers” which you can check out at this link.

– You can check out my top 51 matches of AUGUST list at this link.

– Konnan is in the ring with Pentagon and Fenix to start MLW off with a rare in ring promo. Konnan doesn’t like Salina or her methods and claims that she was trying to take advantage of Fenix and Pentagon. The contracts were so one sided. Konnan tells Salina that she is always one step behind him. Salina de al Renta makes her way to the ring with Ricky Martinez. Salina confirms the rumors that Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix no longer work for her, but they didn’t quit her, she granted them a release. But she will give them one more chance and Ricky hands them new contracts. Salina then says that it is contract she discussed with “Hunter,” and that will give them English classes, some re-branding, and make them big stars. All you have to do is sign. Salina says if you sign these contracts, you will save yourself the tragedy of being outclassed and outwrestled by LA Park and Low Ki. Pentagon and Fenix rip up the new contracts and stay with Konnan.

The Hart Foundation (Smith, Pillman, & Hart) vs. The Stud Stable (The Dirty Blondes & Parrow): MLW has renamed “tornado tags” to “hurricane tags.” Hart & Smith attack before the bell while Pillman drops to the floor and trips up Parrow. They triple team Parrow but he quickly fires back and chokeslam Pillman. Smith and Hart dump him to the floor and Hart follows with a moonsault onto the Stud Stable. Post break, and Smith hits a delayed suplex for 2. Hart hits code red, Smith hits a Saito suplex, and Pillman follows with a high cross. Parrow cuts him off and press slams him to the buckles. Hart hits a tornado DT and moonsault for 2. The Blondes finally cut off Hart; Parrow hits a splash for 2 calling off the Blondes. The Harts clear out the Blondes and Smith finishes Parrow with the running powerslam for the win. The Hart Foundation defeated Stud Stable @ 6:16 via pin [**½] This was a solid opening tag, giving the Hart Foundation momentum and furthering the falloff the Stud Stable.

– Post match, Parker fires Parrow and the Blondes beat him down.

– Jimmy Havoc discusses Sami Callihan being upset that they lost War Games, but, “What you did after the match will not go unpunished.” Sami is angry because that means you will make mistakes; Havoc is looking forward to hurting Sami and when it comes, he will enjoy it.

MJF & Aria Blake vs. Taya Valkyrie & Joey Ryan: Ryan is looking for revenge after losing the middleweight title to MJF. MJF says he won’t touch Ryan’s dick, but Ryan hopes Blake will. Blake instead rips at his chest hair and lays in kicks. The moonsault double knees follow for 2. MJF tags in and lays in rights, but hurts his leg on an atomic drop due to Ryan’s super dick. Taya tags in and drop toeholds MJF into Ryan’s dick. Taya lays in chops, hits arm drags, and then a boot and superkick for 2. Ryan back in and follows with rights but Blake cuts him off, allowing MJF to attack. Post break, and Blake hits a neck breaker on Ryan for 2. MJF in and tells Taya to touch his dick before beating down Ryan. Ryan manages to hit a pump handle suplex and we get wholesale changes to Blake & Taya. Taya runs wild, hits the double knees and covers for 2. Taya now hits the curb stomp for 2. Blake fires back with a head kick and the guys tag in. Ryan lays in rights, hits the spinebuster and covers for 2. Ryan gets his lollipop from his trunks and shoves it in MJF’s mouth and ends up superkicking Taya as MJF pulled her in her way. Blake low blows Ryan, hurting her arm on his super dick, and MJF then rolls him up for the win. MJF & Aria Blake defeated Taya Valkyrie & Joey Ryan @ 11:20 via pin [**½] This was another solid match, with NJF picking up the win to hopefully move on from Ryan.

– Post match, MJF says that he got rid of the sleaze and he also got rid of The Bad Boy. Joey Janela attacks MJF but MJF scored with a low blow to get away.

– We head to the Fury Road Control Center.

– Sami Callihan now comments on Havoc’s challenge from earlier. Sami accepts, saying that they were friend, but that Havoc let him down in War Games. They were supposed to stand victorious together. Jimmy is the reason why they lost, not him. “You are just another King of the Death Match garbage wrestler who cannot do it when the chips are down.”

PCO vs. Brody King: King attacks at the bell and runs wild. The slam and senton follows for 2. King to the floor and PCO hits a suicide dive. They brawl on the floor, back in and PCO hits a pop up powerbomb and running knee strike for 2. PCO yells at the ref, allowing King to hit a lariat for 2. They trade strikes and chops, and King hits a brainbuster for 2. King follows with head butts, but PCO fires back and follows with a clothesline and DDT for 2. King cuts him off with a backdrop to the buckles and then misses a cannonball. They trade rights again, King fires up and rakes the eyes. They then shove down the ref and that’s a double DQ. PCO vs. Brody King went to a double DQ @ 5:30 [**½] This was a solid and fun at times hoss fight, which a flat finish to set up the rematch.

– King hits a piledriver and pummels PCO. PCO fights back and hits a moonsault to the floor onto King and referees.

– Next week, Havoc vs. Callihan & Low Ki defends the MLW title.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

This week’s episode of MLW Fusion started off with a rare in-ring promo segment, but it was honestly very good and easily the best thing on the show, advancing the Pentagon/Fenix/Konnan/Salina feud and dynamic. Overall this was another solid show, giving the mid-card some time to shine and get their angles over, but there was really nothing must-see this week.
