Desperado gets a chair and Volador superkicks it into his face. He follows with a destroyer and picks up the win. Volador defeated Desperado @ 8:00 via pin [**¾] Pretty good match overall, with Volador surviving all of Desperado’s shenanigans.

Ryusuke Taguchi vs. BUSHI: Taguchi offer up the LIJ salute, but BUSHI wants no part of that. They work some back and forth, with BUSHI hitting a dropkick, but Taguchi quickly hitting an ass attack to send BUSHI to the floor. Taguchi then hits a flying ass attack to the floor. BUSHI makes it to his feet, and hits a spinning neck breaker for the double down. BUSHI then follows with a head kick and hits the code breaker. He then hits a cradle DDT for 2. BUSHI back to the ropes, and hits MX and Taguchi is done. BUSHI defeated Ryusuke Taguchi @ 9:25 via pin [**¾] This was another pretty good match, nothing wrong with it really other than it never kicked into that next gear and lacked some drama down the stretch.

KUSHIDA vs. ACH: Both guys desperately need the win here. They start off slowly, with ACH hitting a dropkick and chops to score the first offense of the match. KUSHIDA quickly fires back with the back handspring elbow, and then starts to work the arm to set up the hover board lock. ACH counters God’s last gift, and hits a Michinoku driver for the double down. ACH then decapitates KUSHIDA with a lariat and hits another Michinoku driver for the win. ACH defeated KUSHIDA @ 14:45 via pin [***½] It was a very different match than you may expect, they were very deliberate and careful in their game plans, trying to avoid the costly mistake. It never broke into a wild frenzy, but the work was clean, strong and had purpose throughout. It was a very good match, with KUSHIDA taking another loss and coming closer to having his dreams of winning ruined.

Skipping the first match, you’ll get a solid night of action, but nothing much see. If anything, the main event is really enjoyable.
