Ring of Honor Six Man Tag Team Tournament First Round Match: Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and Kamaitachi versus Ultimo Guerrero, Hechiero, and Okimura : Kaz and Okimura to begin, solid back and forth, neither man was able to take control as we largely had a stalemate. Kaz finally cut him off with boots and Hechiero then tagged in to work with Daniels. Lots of back and forth here as both guys search for an opening to take control of things. Guerrero tagged in and then Kamaitachi, who delivered chops to Guerrero. Guerrero then dropkicked Kamaitachi to the floor, and Hechiero arrived to hit the splash against the barricade. Guerrero then hit a dive over the barricade, and we took a commercial break. Post break, The Addiction took the heat on Hechiero, working him over in their corner. Hechiero finally hit a flapjack, and then the dropkick and tagged in Guerrero, he ran wild for a bit and then hit a second rope gut buster on Daniels as it then broke down. Kamaitachi hit the sweet senton to the floor as the Addiction took control back, getting a near fall off the high low on Guerrero. Hechiero sent to the floor, Kamaitachi then accidentally takes out Daniels as Guerrero moved. Team CMLL made the comeback; Guerrero then hit the reverse superplex on Daniels for the win. Post mach, the Addiction were upset at Kamaitachi, who then spit at Daniels. Ultimo Guerrero, Hechiero, and Okimura defeated Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and Kamaitachi @ 13:00 via pin [***] The match was good and I enjoyed it, but it severely lacked drama down the stretch.

– The Cabinet are here, they then cut a promo about their horrible gimmick and claim they deserve better. They aren’t clowns, and the joke is about to be on ROH. Coleman says there are more of them than we know.

– We see highlights from Champions vs. All Stars, where Castle and Cabana filed to sin the tag titles and had issues due to Castle wanting to cash in their title shot. Castle couldn’t find the boys and Cabana said they did not need them.

Keith Lee and Shane Taylor versus Colt Cabana and Dalton Castle: Lee and Taylor controlled early, HOSS TIME. Cabana hit a head scissors; Castle in with rights and chops and then got cut off and sent to the floor. We rook a commercial break, and post break, the Hosses worked the heat on Castle. Castle’s nose got busted up here, he then got the rolling tag, Cabana back in and delivers jabs and elbows. Cabana worked Lee and Taylor over, tried a moonsault, but got cut off. Dropkick connected, Castle back in and they strutted. Bug dive by Castle followed on Taylor and Lee, Cabana back in to work over Lee. Castle in and delivers Germans before getting cut off. Cabana tried a German and failed. Castle and Cabana had some communication issues an then Taylor pinned Cabana with the powerbomb. Keith Lee and Shane Taylor defeated Colt Cabana and Dalton Castle @ 10:55 via pin [**] This was a rock solid match, but the Cabana and Dalton Castle beak feels very rushed to me.

ROH TV Title Match: Champion Bobby Fish vs. Adam Page : The story here is that Bullet Club have continually attacked reDRagon, specifically the ribs of Fish. Page attacked Fish as he made his entrance and again went after the ribs of Fish. Page slammed Fish to the apron, and grabbed a chair, but the ref made him stop. O’Reilly is out at ringside now as Page continues to assault the ribs. Post break, Page continue the heat on Fish. Page worked over Fish in the tree of woe, continuing his focus on the ribs. Page then worked an abdominal stretch, but Fish got to his feet and tied to right back. To the apron now, and Fish hit an XPLODER to the floor. Fish finally got a break here; hit the corner knee strike to Page and then more knees and an XPLODER to the corner. Page avoided a kick and hit the shooting star press to the floor. Post break, Page was back in control, attacking the ribs again. Fish tried to fight off Page with kicks from the mat; he then worked leg kicks and a dragon screw leg whip. Page then fired back with a lariat for a great near fall. Fish countered the rite of passage with the knee bar for the win. Post match Adam Cole arrived and jawed with O’Reilly. Jay Lethal arrived and Cole had to back down as commentary asked who would take the title from Cole. TV Champion Bobby Fish defeated Adam Page @ 13:20 via submission [***]This was good, but they missed a chance to put the title on Page. They set the story with the Bullet Club attacks, but Page came off as incompetent here as ROH continues to flush away the Page victory over Jay Briscoe on PPV from earlier this year. Fish had a built in excuse to lose, and the TV Title does nothing for him, but could have greatly elevated Page, with the Bullet Club controlling the gold.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

ROH continues to deliver solid TV, but they do not feel like a hot product by any means.
