WWE “Goes Gold” to Support Pediatric Cancer Research

September 2, 2015 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– WWE shared via press release that in light of the recent campaign started by Ellen Degeneres asking people to dance to raise awareness for pediatric cancer under the hashtag #JustKeepDancing, Daniel Bryan posted a video online supporting the cause. You can see the video, posted via Bryan’s Twitter account, below.

Degeneres began the #JustKeepDancing campaign after having six-year old brain cancer patient Braylon Beam on her show, who gets through his chemo therapy and tough days by dancing.

The release notes that Bryan and WWE “are strong supporters of pediatric cancer with Connor’s Cure” and said that the company will be “going gold” for the month of September to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. WWE will donate $1.00 (up to a total of $75,000.00) to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation to benefit Connor’s Cure for every updated twitter profile picture that “goes gold.”
