Mr. McMahon comes out and he promises an epic Survivor Series you will never forget. He brings out The Authority and Stephanie promises not to let Vince down. Vince next brings out John Cena and he reminds Cena of the stipulations of the match tonight. Triple H tells Cena he is going to be responsible for four men losing their jobs tonight and they’ll remain fired when they crawl back to him tomorrow night. Winner- Dolph Ziggler ****1/4 ( This was a spectacular main event and once again shows that the WWE does have the capability to do a proper blow off when they care to. The only elimination I have to criticize is Ryback, since they built him back up for weeks and then had him as the second man eliminated in pretty clean fashion. Otherwise, the other eliminations were well done and the final stretch with Ziggler surviving the final three was incredibly well done. The Sting appearance will end up being one of those epic WWE moments we always remember, the overbooking before it set up his arrival perfectly. Everything here was well done and well thought out, which is a breath of fresh air to see. This was an easy forty minute match to sit through and was one of my favorite WWE matches this year. )

After the match, Cena hugs Ziggler for winning and Triple H and Stephanie recover only to realize what has happened. Stephanie freaks out and cries to end the show.

This was a one match show if there ever was one. The under card is up there as one of the more poorly constructed and mediocre I've seen in a long time. The Miz/Mizdow title win was the only redeeming moment of the under card. There was way too much filler between the opening talk segment and the Adam Rose/Bunny crap and the Diva's stunk the joint up once again. Ambrose/Wyatt serve to set up another PPV match, making their contest here worthless. The main event lived up to and in my opinion actually exceeded expectations and saved this from being the worst WWE PPV of the year. The Authority stuff ended on a good note, we had the memorable Sting debut, and Dolph Ziggler had his defining WWE moment. Whether WWE capitalizes on their momentum coming off the main event is up to them. Watch the main event, skip the rest.
